I highly recommend this place, thanks to the amazing car service I received from their engineer named Joe. After the recent heavy snow, I found myself stranded at home with a car battery issue. Joe immediately got ready and came all the way from his garage to help me out. He fixed the problem with a jump start and made sure my car was fine. Joe truly made a difference during a stressful situation. His kindness and willingness to help reminded me that good people do exist in this world. Truly an angel to me!

My car was turned away and was told they could not work on my car because I brought my own parts…. I have never in my life heard an auto shop say that. They tried to quote me over a thousand dollars for parts and labor and I told them I will purchase my own parts and they told me ok. Now that I finally got a response from them they won’t work on my car because they cant over charge me for parts and labor. The previous owner took the car there all the time, however I will not be because they are unprofessional.

Very knowledgeable and kind mechanic! As a fellow mechanic, he was very helpful with my vehicle inspection!

Both my Aunt and I took our vehicles here to get the oil changed, tires rotated, and brakes checked and they were awesome. My Aunt has been taking her vehicles to them for years and has never been dissatisfied. Keep up the great work guys!

It took 3 days for a bearing and an oil change. If I had received a call when it was done; I wouldn't have had to extend my car rental. Thanks a lot.

Good mechanics, good customer service, however think in need of secretary...asked somebody in main office for an estimate & never got a reply.

My tire needed repair and Found this company via Google. My car tire was serviced right away and I did not even had to get out of my vehicle. It was done in a few minutes. The guys were so nice. Good customer service. This will be my go to place from now on.

I’ve had good experiences with them in the past, which is why I gave three starts. However the last 2 times that I took my vehicle in for a diagnostic they were “unable to determine the cause of the check engine light.” I don’t know if it’s laziness or if they didn’t have the time to do it because they were overbooked. I won’t be back.

I went there Thursday 3/24/22 to get an oil change and to have my tires checked because I’ve been experiencing slow leaks. The oil change was fine, but I was told my tires had low pressure and the couldn’t find the leak. By Sunday, my tires were getting low again so I went to another shop. They took my tires off and discovered they were all dry rot and dangerous to drive on. I had to immediately replace all 4 tires after being charged $40 just put air in damaged, dangerous, and dry rotting tires. There’s no way they took the tires off my car to inspect them. The tread appeared to be good, but there were cracks in between each tire. Ladies, take a man with you to make sure you’re not taken advantage of. I went there based on the reviews and because it’s a neighborhood shop. I left there driving in danger because any one of tires could’ve burst at any time while driving!

My car wouldn't start so they came up and gave it a jump and took it down to check the battery and do some regular maintenance that was overdue. The price was very reasonable and I got my car back quickly.

Similar to what another person said, I called to get some basic information and was spoken to like I was an annoyance. The lady did not want to help me whatsoever. I then called multiple other places with the same question and had no problem.

Came here due to a dent I accidentally made to the front bumper. Mr. Joe made my car look brand new. I highly recommend this location due to the fast service and friendly staff.

I had my two front axles replaced along with a cabin filter. I use this auto repair shop often and generally have a good experience. However, this time I can’t say that I received their best customer service. I had taken my car in for what I thought would be a one day service. I had dropped it off the night before my next day early morning appointment. They never called me to inform me that they would require another day. Since I didn’t have transportation I had to miss a day of work. I didn’t complain or mention this to the mechanic. I spent $1000.00 and after returning home I noticed that there was grease on the driver’s side headliner. Not in one place but a few. I phoned the shop and they told me to bring it right over so they could clean it. In my opinion, the lack of a phone call to inform me of the extra time needed for the service and the lack of concern for cleanliness in my car is poor customer service.

I went to this shop due to my car overheating. The mechanics are friendly and professional. They found and repaired a leak in my cooling system and gave me some additional suggestions on things I should get fixed soon.... all for almost $100 less than the estimate.

They did a great job fixing my car. I've used them twice for pretty major work and it was great. They are professional and so polite. I would definitely recommend them.

We have used Greenbelt Auto and Truck for over 30 years.They have worked on over 10 cars of ours . They do wonderful work, they are fair, sincere and explain the automotive repairs throughly. Long story short, they charged me $0 after another mechanic told me I had to spend $600 to fix a solenoid. I have a VW and Mike there is their VW guy.

My wife and I were driving are my newly purchased vehicle down the highway towards la Plata Maryland and we're having vehicle trouble about 10 miles before greenbelt exit. I googled greenbelt Auto and all the reviews were great I call them they got me in and I got me back on the road within two hours awesome staff Joe the owner great man h,r a excellent shop. I had the pleasure of working with Mike one of his mechanics he know exactly what he was doing he was very candid tell me exactly what was going on and why and what he was going to do to fix it. An awesome experience thanks guys next time I'm in the need work done I know where to go thanks again.

Yesterday morning, out of nowhere, my battery was dead. After AAA gave me a jump, I called Greenbelt Auto & Truck Repair to see if they could give me a replacement. Once I got there, it was done in about an hour. Reasonable price, and polite, professional service. They asked if I had to go to work, apparently wanting to prioritize accordingly. I will certainly be going to them in the future!

Amazingly fast and incredibly helpful. Several hour turnaround on a van starter while I was traveling at what was the lower end of the estimated price. Well worth it!

Great quality of service. These mechanics are very good, highly skilled and above all decent, honest and hardworking professionals. Their ability to diagnose a mechanical problem and give you an accurate estimate of time for completion of work is both impressive and second to none: This is important as we all have jobs, deadlines and schedules we must keep. Therefore, having a mechanically sound car is indispensable. I have come to this establishment on two mechanically related occasions in the recent past and I highly recommend them. I own a high mileage Honda and give this review largely out of a strongly held belief in making evidence supported decisions.

Very thorough. They always do a great job. Explain simply what is wrong and has to be done. Completes work fast and saves parts. Reasonable price.

Outstanding service. We had our air conditioner repaired here. We are on vacation from California and we let them know that we would be without a vehicle as we are far from home so they took the truck in right on the spot as soon as we brought it in. Mike was the technician that worked on our vehicle and he was very professional and went through the diagnostic process and found our problem and had it fixed within just a few hours. Very honest and reasonable prices.

If I could give Greenbelt A&T more than five stars, I would. They are knowledgeable, reliable, and honest. After two weeks of having repeated problems with my car's tire going flat, I gave up on the NTB in Beltsville where I had originally bought the tire, and took it to Greenbelt A&T. They took about three minutes to find the problem (a faulty valve stem), and had my car fixed and back to me before the end of the day for about $50. In future, I'm not going to bother taking my car anywhere else.

Skilled, friendly and honest. Greenbelt Auto and Truck Repair was recommended to me by a friend and I have been impressed by their level of attention. It's the only place I'll take my car now.

We just moved to Greenbelt and it's always stressful to find a new mechanic that you trust in your area, but we have definitely found our new "go-to" auto repair shop. Every employee here was so nice, they listened to me and didn't try to overload me with auto terms or other things to fix, gave me a fair price (my trusted family mechanic from my hometown verified this), and were finished in less than a day! We will definitely go back and recommend to others.

Great, trustworthy and very friendly great expertise, when they tell you what's wrong and if you want even show you the parts and described to what needs to be replaced. And straight up about what needs to be done and what you know is it a top priority for repairs. Only downside is they are not open on weekends.
