1/19/26 15:00 (1st call to store) to 17:40 (visit store) I had a very displeasing experience with this store today. I needed a windshield wiper transmission for my truck. I had previously looked the part up on the NAPA website & Amazon. I called the Forestville / District Heights store. I gave them my truck information & the part number. Two different people told me that this part did not fit my truck. I called around & got to the NAPA warehouse in Laurel Md. They told me that the part fit my truck & that they had 4 in stock. The only bad part about about going to Laurel is that it is a 2 hour round trip in traffic. I needed it so I had to make the trip. When I get there I tell the gentlemen helping me about my experience, he just kind of shook his head. I jokingly asked should we call to tell them how to use the parts computer. He chuckled a bit & said " They need to learn howto talk to people on the phone first". On the hour ride back home, I couldn't let go that the manager needs to know about this. Maybe it is a teachable moment for the two individuals that gave me wrong information. When I get to the store I ask for the manager. The person that I asked was indeed the manager. I gave her my truck information & part #, it seemed that she couldn't find the part either. She asked to see the information on my phone. I gave it to her & without any apology she asked well what do you want to do. I explained to her for the 2nd time that I had already gone to Laurel to pick the part up. She then said well we would have had to order the part anyway, you wouldn't get it until tomorrow. I said that would have been better than a 2 hour drive. She just shrugged her shoulders & asked again, what do want to do. I said, an apology would have been nice & speaking to the manager is what I expected. As I was walking out of the store I said, out loud, "& everyone hearing me knows that I am right. Unfortunately, I didn't get the managers name, but I will be calling corporate to make a formal complaint tomorrow. At this point, NAPA will be the last auto parts store that I call when I need something. I am currently in the process of restoring 2 vehicles.

So many people forget about the original. Nowadays it's AutoZone in advance auto, I'm not giving them any shade, but NAPA was first. Great little location, large variety of parts, in a knowledgeable staff.

NAPA needs to change their hours of operation on the website. Hours of operation on website are 7 am -7 pm. When I arrived at 6:30 pm, NAPA was closed. The website also said "Closing soon", but store was closed when I arrived.

were they having sex? if so then shame shame shame!!! We pull up at the store at 05:35 pm. the hours on the door says they close at 06:00 pm. the lights are dark 1/2 the lights are on and the door is locked BEFORE 06:00 p.m. As we're turning away to walk back to the car my husband sees a black lady inside with braids, then a Hispanic 1/2 bald guy comes out of nowhere. They're both looking suspicious & guilty as if we just interrupted them. We knock on the door she comes to open it. We get inside & take the battery that we NEVER got to use to the counter with the receipt and tell the guy we need to return it because the day that we bought the battery, our car was totaled in the snowstorm so now we need to return it. The guy looked at the receipt and says "Oh this was an online order in Springfield, Va, you have to take this back to the store that you bought it from. Mind you I was just told the day before that we can return it as long as we have the receipt in which we did!!! In disbelief we leave not happy at all!!! I get in the car and I call the Springfield, Va store to ask why couldn't we return it at any store? The guy that answered the phone said that we shouldn't have been told that that NAPA could & would not do the return. He also mentioned that it's strange & that is weird because they're ALSO a corporate store and we should've been able to return the battery at that store. Needless to we are NOT happy that we were LIED to and have to go another day and drive 21 miles to Springfield to do our return. If your hours are 07:00 am-06:00 pm then what kind of business are you running to have the door locked 25 mins early and EXTREMELY poor customer service!!!

Better than Autozone. NAPA has Parts at their store well stocked. Autozone Alternator never showed up. Than I dreamed about yellow and blue it was NAPA!! My car was stranded 4 days.

I truly enjoy going to that NAPA store. They are always willing to help and very kind. Also the NAPA in Clinton Md. They are great also!! NAPA KNOW HOW!!! AWESOME!!!

The customer service was the worst it's ever been. Each time I go it gets worse and worse. They don't stock the shelves so they had Items in the back that we had to request to look for and they curse a lot. That location should be closed down or it needs a whole new staff. I love Napa but I'm never going back to that location.

NAPA is great place for the serious vehicle DIYer. If the part isn't in stock, chances are they can have it in a day or two.

They ordered my brake pads the day b4. They gave me a time to come in and pick up.. the brakes were there and everything went smooth.

Great example of what an auto parts store should be. If you know your stuff, they are quick and efficient if you need some help, they are knowledgeable, helpful, never condescending. Worth a few extra dollars.

Looking all over for an in stock part and everyone has to order it. Called NAPA and they had the part. Rep doubled checked for the part in stock and I want to personally thank Antonio for his outstanding service. Really came through in the clutch. AND ON A SUNDAY!!

I was satisfied with Napa little pricey but it's supposed to be better parts parrot bike for rotors and brake pads.

Not worth the time coming to this location. I called ahead of time for a part, and was confirmed that they had the part. Just to find out when I get to the Napa less than a (Min Away) they don't have it. Shut this location down. They send you to Old Branch Ave anyway.

The parts counter person was very knowledgeable and very attentive to my needs. I received the correct part for my car and she printed out the other parts I'm going to need when I come back to get them .

Reserved parts online, 10% off, get to store, no discount. Lied to me and told me that I got a discount, which I didn't get--had to compare my emailed reservation with the receipt I got at the store. Active military, no discount any more. Told me parts would be here such-and-such date, paid for them in cash in advance, not even close to here by that date. Wanted cash refund since I paid in cash, they refused to give cash refund and would only put it on a credit card. Unbelievable. What happened to these people? I've bought lots of stuff at this store on other occasions. Horrible experience--avoid this place and go somewhere else.
