There is a nice selection of shops for you, from food to regular shopping. My only complaint is that the parking lot is a little tight if you are in a truck or suv. Sedans and compact cars should have no issue,l.
It is the core of shopping in Germantown MD, you can find here a Walmart, Target, PetSmart, home Depot, Aldi, Staples, TJ Max, pep boys, Chipotle, Starbucks, Hallmark, restaurants and several businesses. And a very large parking lot.
What's not to like? Great assortment of stores, intelligent design of large amounts of shared parking, easy to access and exit, well-maintained, feels safe, centrally located.
Hope for improvement. Still hope. Some stores going sharply down the hill. As Target, where so many cases of stealing recently, so you could be stopped and asked for permission to inspect your own bag or purse without any clear reason. Very disappointing
The shopping center itself is absolutely wonderful, unfortunately the residents surrounding it are absolutely terrible, they park on curbs rather than parking spots at restaurants like they're vips and the fact that there are cops in front of multiple stores shows the crime rate has only increased in the area. Last week I purchesed a windshield wiper blade only to find that the box had been looted for parts! Again the stores are wonderful but the area is horrible!
This got to be the best to have Walmart, Target, and Big Lots all in one place plus other shops. Great idea since sliced bread. Plenty of parking and the best deal EVER!
STAPLES...customer service poor, i ask for same item i buy there before and...literally tell me ( on my mind i hear this...go and check your self!) Cashier just scan and waiting for me to put the card, never tell me total umtil i ask, ah! Never ask me if i need the bag...really second time here this week and same awfull service!! I thing i prefer drive a little more and go to store where care about COSTUMER SERVICE!!
They do a great job at keeping this shopping center clean. If there's a store you need, this is a get everything you need shopping center from instruments to dinner to massages and closa. This place has it.
The one thing people always comment on about this place is the absolutely bonkers parking lots. They are odd shaped and difficult to maneuver. This place has just about anything you could possibly need. Between all the major box stores and both a Walmart and a Target (across the street from each other no less) you are sure to find something. Just bring patience for the parking.
It is one of many small - largish islands and outcroppings of shops, salons, restaurants , out there riding the mystery bus ( the 83 . Honestly, where does it go? It only goes in about a three miles circle but its always long gone when EVER you need it ) and TRYING to dodge those hidden speeding cameras while watching for sinkholes on FHB . As if they had formed pods of little lost shopping centers sort of hovering around the Germantown area in such a way confused schoolkids would wondering where the actual TOWN part is located in German Town if you asked them.
Anyhooo its a fun day out . And even the lines at walmart are usually real short. So put on some new nikkes and explore our G with no Town . its a great place , if you like to drive and eat and shop everything you could ever possibly want or need is in that twisting labyrinth of shops that stretches out for miles as farcas the eye can see! They little shops got bigger and then everybody ran into each other like a retail collective of really tired kraken, sprawling all over the concrete and spreading out til they themselves filled every nook and cranny lol so there was no room for a town ...target khols ,pet stuff, pets, DIY places, best buy, michaels...if you need it you will find it there, in that arm of the kraken, who just cant even...
you just have to ask somebody which of our many, many shopping centers it may be in, theres at least 8 tribes and many tributaries constantly growing and expanding , and they keep infiltrating every last inch of all the space ....i dont know why . And as i mentioned earlier we dont even have a town in my town i wonder .... does Germantown exist at all? do i ? Do you ? Lol
If you DONT need it you will still find something and buy it anyway but i wont tell anybody ! Do i seem the sort to gossip ? Well i never! huumph! Bye for now, Sherry
A truly convenient, one-stop shopping location in the Germantown area!
If you need to knock out several errands, it's very nice to only need to go to one place to get mostly everything done from groceries to home improvement to electronics to clothes to furniture to pet supplies to auto supplies to art supplies to music supplies and more. Milestone Shopping Center is adjacent to other shopping centers. There's a large variety of stores, many of which would be anchor stores in their own right.
For the most part, the businesses are pretty stable, so you don't see a lot of turnaround. The food options in the area are mostly chains, but no fast food with a drivethrough.
It's accessible by bus, and there are plenty of sidewalkks to make the area traversible without a car, but be careful since there are many stop signs and not everyone follows them.
Convenient shopping with lots of large big box stores. I usually start at Walmart, hit home Depot, consider Kohl's and Big lots, stopping at Starbucks for coffee and then Aldi for food shopping. Always lots of parking, tends to get crowded on the weekends but definitely worth the trip.
I can admit I only go to the Dutch market the outback restaurant and MetroPCS Plus Dollar general I haven't explored all the other stores or restaurants as of yet but we will be making a mark to all the other stores even the hair braiding shop looked really appeasing the dog training that's right by the benches that looks really cool for our pets to go to there's an ice cream shop that's on the corner that we went to once and haven't been back yet because it just hasn't been on our to-do list yet but we will be there to pick up a container too. Many of the restaurants and the Meat shops at around there have caught our interest big time so we will be back more than on a Thursday or Friday
I didn't know that this was a shopping center until it popped on my Google review :) this is more of a chick fil a space I feel bad for all other establishments there because Chick-fil-A drive-thru is really long and extremely popular at this shopping center. There's a Panera bread there and Taco Bell. There's also a Walgreens. I would just caution from coming here by foot this is a place where you need your car. There's also a bus station at this stop.
Overall the area doesn't feel safe although it is near a police station. I would just make sure to park close to your destination because this doesn't seem to be an area where you could just wonder about. It's definitely better during daytime than night time.
If you're driving be prepared to run into Chick-fil-A fiasco traffic at different times of the day.
This location has a very sizeable Walmart that I shop with in a monthly basis. There are a host of different stores and restaurants to choose from. These range from Target, Verizon, Pets, Gas stations, and Mom and Pop restaurant or smaller chain eateries
It was great being in Milestone Shopping Center. Some changes, good changes has happen since I was last there. Bath and Body Works is there and I believe a I saw a DSW. Definitely will be heading back. It will be my one stop shopping center.
This strip mall with single standing retail stores has everything including Best Buy, Walmart, Petsmart, Target, Kohls and Home Depot. There's also a Staples and several places to eat like Chipotle, and a fantastic burger place.
The new place in the first indoor area is a good idea for the whole family and the menu is not good but the same time is not the best of the best of all around here for you and you can look at it as well and then you will have a great idea for me to not remove your family and friends.
Overall a perfect score! We found the items we need &good food. Services at the store & restaurant were excellent. The clerks were courteous & professional. The servers, greeters &management all had a smile & kind words . Thumbs up all around! ! !
This shopping center has everything you need for a wonderful shopping experience. All other shops like kohl's, Home Depot and Best Buy are just a walking distance away. There is ample parking space..
Did a run to Target for a last minute sweatshirt for my kids marching band ceremony. Had exactly what I needed. Purchased online and texted upon arrival. Employee came with the item and placed it right into the back seat. Efficiency at its best.
Last time I can't find there some of my usual buyings like Italian bread, Gouda cheese, organic whole milk. Yesterday where are were no chopped beef, shelfs with Lego were empty. What is going on with Walmart?
