So I shop here on the regular. Today I walked into the store and it was extremely hot Like there was no air-conditioning and it was blowing hot air. There was no water station for the employees which is illegal. When I asked to speak to the manager His name is Anthony He was extremely rude to me when I asked him about why the store was so hot. He said he had no idea why and that ” the people know when it will be fixed” With an attitude and then walked away from me. I will be calling Kaitlyn, the general manager in the morning and have a discussion with her about Anthony’s Attitude and the lack there of water for his employees

I’m going to sound like I’m nitpicking. I have no real issues with this store other than why must the deli meats you place in the on-the-go style all have stickers that ruin the bags. I get it. They want to fold it over all tidy and label it but now I must use a sandwich bag or container to store it since the bag rips voiding out the ziplock. Just seems like a complete lack of common sense. Otherwise the store is more than sufficient.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! These folks are literally selling moldly produce and don't care. I even reported this to Giant at a corporate level and they never even responded. There is a Target and Walmart in the same center. Go there to buy better quality food for less money

I have been shopping at the Giant in Germantown for 33 years. Also, filling prescriptions. I've been very pleased with the staff and I've always found everything that I needed

Maureen was great at self service checkout, she instructed me on how to get the weekly deal for a few packs of water on the app since I didn’t know it was only an on app coupon. She was very patient and kind, acknowledging every customer that passed by. Thank you again :)

Disappointing Experience at my local Giant in Germantown on Middlebrook Rd. Store number 169, I believe. As a 30-year veteran's wife who has seen firsthand the sacrifices made for our country's freedom, I was appalled by the unprofessional behavior by an employee at this store. During my recent visit, I witnessed an employee openly discussing their political views with another customer and making derogatory comments about individuals who voted for a particular candidate. As someone who values the principles of respect and inclusivity, I found this behavior to be not only unprofessional but also offensive. It's unacceptable for employees to engage in partisan conversations in front of customers, creating an uncomfortable and divisive atmosphere. I urge the manager of this store, the deli Manager and GIANT FOODS AS A WHOLE take immediate action to address this issue and ensure that their employees understand the importance of maintaining a neutral and RESPECTFUL environment for ALL of GIANTS customers. Our Veterans, 18 and up, sacrifice so much, and they do it next to other veterans of many shades, religious beliefs and political parties. THEY FIGHT TOGETHER AND DIE TOGETHER, SO NO ONE CARES WHAT SOMEONE WHO SLICES MEAT ALL DAY THINKS. USMC

Clean and easy to navigate store. Large variety of all types of items. Not a fan of my check out experience. I’m a mom with a toddler and so I’m juggling my attention. I didn’t appreciate my cashier speaking to me in a condescending way because my cart wasn’t in a “attack position” to place my bags in. As if it’s a hassle for him to angle my cart with my toddler seated perpendicular to the conveyor belt. Seems like a flawed design if the register lanes are straight pathways. The exasperated comments and energy given to me, a mother just trying to get groceries efficiently, ruined the entire experience for me. I regret not just using self check out. Plus I regret even going into the store in the first place.

Standard giant had to leave a review for the guy that helps with the carts unfortunately haven't gotten his name yet but in a cold world particularly in this region this guy is doing the Lord's work being a decent human in indecent times with his friendly service and work ethic which at most businesses these days is apathetic at best. This is a great grocery location. I primarily use the pick up services and I always have a pleasant experience. Tina and Jose are always so friendly and helpful during my pick up visits. They shop for my groceries with care and I always get a courtesy call if an item is out of stock and a replacement is needed. Their team regularly goes the extra mile for their customers. Extra shoutout to the gentlemen who attends to the parking lot. He is always so welcoming!

I debated over whether or not to leave a review here as I generally have a good experience with all of the employees at Giant on Middlebrook in Germantown. The gentleman that works the parking lot is especially nice and friendly and seems to be genuinely so. However, today the experience I had with Anthony who I believe is one of the managers was the worst experience I have ever had. I purchased dish detergent which was clearly marked with signage that said they were 2 for 6 dollars. As I was ringing up my items in the self serve the savings did not subtract. I inquired with the young lady who in turn took the issue to Anthony. Anthony appeared very displeased to have been asked and then strolled very slowly to the aisle to check the price. When he returned he sneered and said "you need a coupon". I asked if it was clearly marked and he sneered again and in such a nasty and demeaning tone, "you need a coupon" then abruptly walked away without another word. I have never experienced such a rude and obnoxious person at this Giant. It was not what he said but rather the manner and find in which he said it. I'm going to assume that since there are a lot of genuinely nice people at the store that he is the exception and the one who slipped through the cracks when he was hired.

Pleasant experience. Been here few times before 5yrs ago and back again. It's always been a go to place for my family to buy groceries and everything. It's nearby, it's well stocked, clean and fast checking out. The guy in the vegetable area we ask for was really nice eventhough he dont know exactly the item we look for, but he tried his best.

Today the Deli lady , Theresa she said her name was become very disrespectful, even told me she gets off at 430pm wow... all because I asked her coworker for help while she was telling another customer about her workers comp Case for her neck but they put arm.... I'm baffled at her response. I didn't take her up on that 430pm meet up because believe it or not I had 2 of my children with me.. I'm waiting on corporate to get back to me, cause nah I can't let that one go.

When into this Giant to buy some steaks, "Filets" ! All I could find was prepackaged super small cuts that they're trying to sell as Filets ... I spoke to the Manager and asked if she had more cuts of filets and if she could cut me 5 or 6 - 2 1/2" filets.... She says No , we do not have those and I can't do that . She said "They" steal them as fast as they get them" I left and went right over to the Safeway across the street . Their associate in the meat department happily cut me the filets I wanted! You will not see me in that Giant ever again and you can thank your meat manager , your poor selection and your remedial approach to business !

This giant is close to my house so I always go there and I’ve never had any issues until TODAY. I took $50 cash with me and I told myself that was going to be my budget. I didn’t want to spend more than that. My things came up to $81 and I was telling the guy to take somethings out to = $50. He was looking at me crazy, then he picks up the phone and calls a manger over and I told him to take the orange out. My stuff came out to $70. Even though I was trying to pay $50 he was making the whole situation awkward for me, so I just decided to pay $50 in cash and pay the rest on my card. He takes the $50 marks it, OBVIOUSLY it’s real, but then he’s still holding it in the air, in the light tryin to check and I’m like what’s happening? He then asks the manager to check, he says something in the manager’s ear. I was so annoyed cuz u marked it and found out the money was real so why all that extra stuff? I was just annoyed, because the customers also started looking at me. I don’t like negative attention and I just wanted to pay for my things and run out of there. Not all blk people steal and I’m not broke either, just trying to put myself on a budget. I don’t even know where to find counterfeit money.

Very upset that I purchased fried chicken and when I got home I found thread in my fried chicken batter. Very disappointing. At first I thought it was a piece of hair that got cooked into the batter but no it is a thread from a piece of clothing.

I love the gentlemen worker who greets everyone when coming in and out of the store. I have a huge problem with the self checkout employees, specifically one person. They are extremely pressed to find people who are not scanning all their items. So much so that they will stop you from leaving, take your receipt and look through all your groceries to see if you scanned them all. I dont want to feel like Im being stared down or profiled simply for scanning my items. It makes me not even want to come here its extremely uncomfortable. This is the only giant in the area that does this. No other giant is scoping you out making sure you scanned all your items. Let people shop in peace.

One of the best Giants in town and even when you leave the nicest person you will ever meet is the guy who collects the carts. Always has a friendly attitude, didn't catch his name but he seems to be there every time I shop with the family.

The associates are great. The guy outside, Papis I believe his name tag read is just awesome. He greets everyone with a smile and wishes them a good day. When he’s not working I do miss the “hello my friend nice to see you again” or the “have a great weekend”.

Horrible customer service! Tried to buy Lactaid and saw the price where it was displayed showed $5.29, when checking out, it rang up as $6.79. Let the cashier know the price was wrong, showed them this same picture and they had to go check the price. Another customer service person informed me that the price was listed for butter, not milk. So now it’s my problem they have items on display with incorrect prices/descriptions. At least they could have honored the price and fixed it later, but nope. Told me it was $6.79 if I wanted it.

Erin and another gentleman who's name I sadly didn't catch, in order pickup were incredibly efficient and friendly. The GPS option on the app worked amazingly -my order was brought out as I got to the curb. The only improvement to order Pickup from Giant at ALL locations would be to provide a store receipt like Harris Teeter & Aldi do so that I can get my credit with Fetch.

I enjoy coming here every time. The staff are always friendly, professional, and attentive to my needs. Their prices are good, the produce is fresh enough, and the shelves are well stocked and clean. They have a pretty good selection of seafood items, meats, and a more than decent bakery. Parking is easy, carts are available, and it is not too crowded ever. Because of the convenience and the friendly staff it beats Wegmans for me a lot of the time.

John in the seafood department is always a great help when i come in to get my seafood great customer service always have a great attitude always go above a beyond. Leslie was a great help also one of the times i came in she helped in seafood department. Both have great customer service. The older gentleman that cleans carts is always so welcoming and and even when i leave or other customers leave he is always so nice. Keep up the great customer service just know yall make my day whenever i come in this location
