I went to this location at like 645am. One of the employees was throwing it down in the produce section while Akon played on the speakers. I wish I had that kind of energy that early. Whoever is on Aux at this location is killing it.
I had a very bad experience at bakery, no one available to write happy bday on a cake. I went to front desk, she said she can't help, I went to some guy sitting at the self serve for help, and he said he can't help either. Disgusting and waist of my time.
Don't order anything online from Wegman's. They literally just took $300 from my bank account but didn't process my order when I clicked on checkout.
Talked to their customer service and this glitch happens "sometimes" and in theory the money should come back to me within a few days. They recommended that I hound my bank though just in case.....
Nothing beyond that just feel free to spend another $300 with us or gtfo.
Edit: quality also went down at this location around the time when the Rockville location opened, also the sandwich shop changed hours to 10am opening here as well.
The Rockville location is so bad (been there four times now) that I figured I’d give some love to the Germantown location, which has never given me anything but a superior experience. Sincerely someone who loves food.
Most people I know love Wegmans. I prefer Aldi, and even Walmart over Wegmans because of their excessive plastic use (check how meat is wrapped/potatoes etc.) relative to the other places. They have a wide range of produce, baked goods, ready made food, ceramics, cards, plants etc. You can even find European cordials, jams and preserves.
I have been coming here to shop for years especially due to their late hour convenience. I love the fresh produce and variety this store offers but recently I have been told I am not allowed to come and shop at night as what has been convenient for me all these years. A rude night manager by the name Ken took my items out my hand when I was buying my daughter’s birthday cake and said I can not buy it I ignored his rude conduct and second time I came again at night he told me no to come shop there late nights that he will make sure I am not attended to. I never in all my years delt with such a rude and disgusting human being. He even shooed my children from grabbing items. He should not be in the customer service field as he knows nothing about it. I’m quite surprised how such a great store has such a terrible person in charge. I will be looking to shop elsewhere.

Always a great experience and tons of excellent merchandise to choose from. The deli food is great for a quick bite to eat if you forgot to thaw some meat out for dinner. Love the security in parking lots as well.
We have just started going to this store since a couple of months. We are loving the ambience, the quality, pricing and staff of this outlet among other competitors in the same region (Rockville/Gaithersburg/Germantown)..
Definitely recommend others to buy fruits vegetables from here. Some goods seem to be very fresh and healthy here.
In general this is a very nice grocery store with high quality food. However, 10 days ago I bought few pieces of wild salmon-fish filet from the fresh seafood department and those were old fish (not fresh at all). I throwed away all the fish I bought. It is unfortunate to spend your money and end up getting sick.

I was in the neighbourhood and getting hungry, so I browsed around the ready to eat area for a while to figure out what I wanted.
There were a lot of options, from Asian, to a host of different sandwiches, salads, jerk chicken bowls and hot foods by the pound.
Will def be by next time I’m in the area.

Edit: the quality of fellow customers has gone up incredibly ever since introducing higher anti theft standards. I used to run into crazy and incredibly rude people, and now months later it’s super chill and actually like the suburban ones in NY.
Wegmans is hands-down one of the best grocery stores out there. Yes, prices can be on the higher side compared to other chains, but the quality of the food really makes it worth it. Their produce is always fresh, the meats and seafood are top-notch, and they offer a great selection of organic and specialty items you don’t always find elsewhere.
The store is clean, well-organized, and the staff is consistently helpful and friendly. I also love their prepared foods section, it’s perfect for a quick, delicious meal when you don’t feel like cooking.
If you're someone who values quality and variety, Wegmans is definitely worth shopping at, even if it costs a little more. You really do get what you pay for!
My first experience with Wegmans came with this location and I loved it, pizza was big and delicious! Been working for the Gambrills location almost 5 years, and I couldn't imagine a better place, they really care for their people!

The store has a cold, uninviting atmosphere that feels unwelcoming at any hour. The staff, including management, is not only unprofessional but frequently unhelpful and lacking in basic product knowledge. It’s astonishing how little they seem to care about customer service.
It’s disappointing that a place I've frequented for so long is stuck in this rut of mediocrity. I genuinely hope someone takes this feedback seriously and makes necessary changes to create a friendlier environment. Until then, I’ll be looking for alternatives that value their customers more.
We've been visiting Wegmans in Germantown for the last few years. This location is enormous and has a diverse selection of quality products, most at a competitive or better price. The staff are kind and helpful, yet you usually need to request assistance instead of waiting for someone to come and ask if you need help.
We have been going to this Wegmans for almost a year, we normally get the pre-made meals they offer, they have Salmon, Chicken marsala, Turkey, etc... they all include small amounts of veggies, for instance, the Turkey has 4 small pieces of white meat turkey, a ice cream scooper of mashed potatoes and a half cup of green beans. When I first started going there this was $12, in the past 8 months I have watched it go from $12 to $14 and now it went from $14 to $20!!! How is this even possible 14 to 20 is too much. I like the store but will have to go elsewhere to purchase pre-made meals, maybe Whole foods.

This store is constantly out of everything. I cannot find vegetables and fruits that I need most of the time on the weekends and the meat is extremely hard to find. How do you not have beef chuck roast when all the other stores do? Properly manage your inventory because I am sick of having to go to other stores to complete my shopping list!
Water in the sinks in the restroom was too hot for my 3 year old, when I brought it up to management they suddenly had complaints about me. Lower the water temperature in the bathrooms so kids don't burn thier hands!
Store is decent and over priced bjt they have some of everything and it's quality, you get what you pay for i guess. The pharmacy was good 5 plus years ago but they have stopped being helpful and just don't care abojt the patient well-being any longer. Just gave me cough syrup but no way to measure the amount I'm supposed to take. Should I just swig off the bottle like an alcoholic and call it close enough ? Get it together and stop canceling pre authorized prescriptions month after month. I do t even feel safe taking my prescription because I never know if they are going to fill or not.

Lots of space, great selections, tasty food. If you've never been to Wegman's, you gotta check it out; it's definitely a different shopping experience.
We went with Wegmans this year for our Thanksgiving feast. Not only did we get more for our , there's also more choices of sides, plus the pick up experience is so much more pleasant and less chaotic than at Whole Foods. We will have to see how it tastes!
26July2024 My first time in this location and this was the most outstanding experience ever. I came in here to get me something for breakfast/lunch and Wegman’s did not disappoint.
Everything is fresh and local. Anything and everything for every pallet is in here. Fresh, fruits, vegetables, breads, desserts, sandwich’s, cookies, cheeses, hot foods, and fresh sushi. This is a food destination. There is so much too choose from that anyone will be satisfied. There are two eating areas, one outside with umbrellas and then the other is inside before you get to the food area. There is ample setting.
The ease of navigating through this destination was so easy as the layout is spacious and shopper friendly. A wonderful staff member assisted me today,(due to my hands being full)and she was so helpful. She made my shopping experience the best ever. I enjoyed how she spoke very highly of her job there. She represented herself and her company in a professional and welcoming manner. I’ll definitely be back.
A must stop and guaranteed you won’t be disappointed and you will leave out with a couple of sandwiches like I did. Or a bag full something you didn’t plan on buying.

Everything is very organized and clean. They have a lot of fresh food on one side, and processed food (plus other goods - skincare, kitchen supplies, etc.) on the other side. Food here is a little bit more expensive than at a regular grocery store, but there are some things that you can only get here.
I'm having serious problems with the stocking issues at Wegman's. I typically shop around 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays, and a lot of shelves are still very empty. I couldn't even get garlic after the store had been open for 3 hours. I could go on listing the ingredients I could not buy today, but the fact that they don't have garlic available says enough.
If Jeff Bezos, of all people, can keep Whole Foods completely stocked the moment the store opens, why can't Wegman's do the same?
