This week I tried online ordering for pick up for the first time. It’s super good customer service. You park at pick up signed parking space, then call the store, they will put all your grocery in your car And Mini the employee did a great job finding all my grocery items of over $100 for me. I really appreciate it!

Thanks to the in-store online ordering staff for going above and beyond during the recent preparations for the upcoming "snow of the century " on Friday January 23rd. Every available employee pitched in to get all of the orders filled while dealing with a fully crowded store. Kudos and well done!

Awful grocery store. Very high prices, checkout lines are never staffed & inconsistent inventory. The self checkout machines yell at you because they’re too sensitive. Not to mention Giant will carry something you like for two months and then discontinue it. I drive across Germantown to Wegmans because this one is so bad and I probably save $50+/wk on groceries.

This os one of the best Giant stores I've been shopping at. I don't go there very frequently anymore after I moved, but I was able to shop there again recently and was impressed how clean, spacious, well-stocked this store is.

Beat Giant in the area. Always stocked for whatever you need. Good variety of name brand as well as local vendors. 95% of the staff is super friendly and helpful. Our go to grocery store.

They should've just closed instead of remodeling. Every time I go in here when I'm like "It's the closest thing, at least it'll save me time" it never does, cause they don't have it and I have to go somewhere else anyways. Or their fridges are broken. Or they're credit card readers are down. Or they're short staffed. Or a million other reasons. Want to go to Giant? There's a better one five minutes away in the Kentlands, or five minutes up the road off Germantown. Wanna be bougie? Go to WholeFoods in the Kentlands. Want to PAY LESS for BETTER products? Drive fifteen minutes to Wegmans or fifteen minutes to Trader Joes. Literally go anywhere but here.
Update~ Giant responded to my review, asked me to give them another shot. Fair enough. We're having a heatwave, it's over a hundred degrees outside, and they're AC isn't working. Parts of the store are sweltering. The cashier's are sweating, I cant imagine what it's like back in the bakery or around the hot bar.Jun 24, 2025 -

Cards? Maybe they’ll just demand I barter with my soul instead. It’s a delightful mystery every single time.The produce? A masterpiece of decay. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve brought home moldy bread or fruit that’s practically auditioning for a science experiment. It’s like they’re curating a collection for the Museum of Rot. Freshness? Never heard of her.And the management—oh, what a treat! Point out their spoiled goods or chaotic payment system, and they’ll grace you with the kind of charm you’d expect from a disgruntled troll under a bridge. Rude, dismissive, and utterly unbothered, they elevate customer service to a performance art of apathy.If you love gambling with your groceries and enjoy a side of attitude, Giant is your paradise. Five stars for chaos, zero for competence. Keep shining, you glorious dumpster fire!

I've shopped here 30 years. Today two employees cut off myself and another shopper, right between our carts, for no obvious reason other than to share everyone's displeasure of the shopping experience. It's miserable. Narrow isles gauntleted so that almost certainly aren't ADA compliant, with gigantic shopping carts that no-one asked for. If the employees don't like the cramped miserable shopping experience, why don't they work somewhere else.

I just moved to this side of town. Instead of shopping at the stores that I have always received great customer service i have chosen to shop near my new home. But after today's experience I will be driving to Wegmans. After going up and down every isle at Giant and having three employees walk past me when I was trying to talk to them I left with what I had and never got what I actually went to the store for. Read what it says on the back of there shirts. They don't really mean it.

If I could give zero stars I would. Something in my bad spilled and soaked me and the ground. I tried to ask security standing right there for help. They directed me to customer service. I told her I got spilled on and the floor as well and asked for paper towel. I thought she would say let me help you clean it up she did not. Then the cashier spilled my tomatoes on the ground. He called customer service and they said they wouldn’t get it even though there was 2 people there. They told me to get it myself. So in 5 minutes 2 bad interactions. Customer service said no we have great reviews and you aren’t situation correct. I used to work at giant and would not treat a customer this way. I asked for the contact for the manager and was told to call back tomorrow. Horrible customer service.

I have been using the Giant Food online ordering and pick up service from your store for the last four weeks now. And it has been a pleasure. The App is is easy to use, the communications, and the pickup service are excellent. Your associates have been great when picking out the produce and bringing my groceries to my car. Please do not stop this service, I love it and will continue to use it. My wife and I are an older couple and find it hard getting around the store shopping for groceries and this service is great for us.

Let me tell you about my experience with a bakery clerk named ISTEAQ! So I was looking for a birthday cake and went to several different stores and ended up at this giant location on LEAMAN FARM ROAD. Isteaq the bakery clerk did something that surprised me totally, as we're filling out the order form not only did he take his time to fully understand exactly what I wanted done but he also made me realize that some of the colors I chose might come out looking bright because of the cake background color, instead of just writing whatever i told he simply pointed out that those colors won't be looking good when the cake is done and this helped me make an informed decision. The baker herself called me to confirm what I wanted and the cake came out amazing.... Isteaq, thank you so nuch. The manager also went out of his way to help me find the number 6 candle so yes positive experience.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with who I was told, the customer service manager Robert today. When I approached him with a general question, his demeaner was incredibly rude, uninterested, and unwelcoming. His tone was very condescending and he seemed annoyed as I was asking him the question. I left feeling disrespected and undervalued as a customer.

I want to thank God and the Angels who work at the best giant that is near my house, especiallly miss BRITDGETTE CASHIER. An angel of God in her attention to the client, she is a person who is very kind and does not allow even a client te carry his perishables. I thank her very much for her service and attention, and the manager for knowing how to choose his personnel.

Convience is a top priority for me, and that's not the best reason why I love Kingsview Giant. It's the staff. Friendly, informed and they make my to dos turn "to done" I can go to other supermarkets, but why when I am extremely happy. Great job!!

Great store, excellent and friendly Associates! I'm always able to find items at this store that I'm unable to find at other stores. The only down side is the produce. Fresh fruits and vegetables arrive in poor condition, must of the time. There are times when I forget to redeem competitive coupons, and they won't honor it, eventhough I have a receipt.

I would never usually write a review on a grocery store but have been shopping here for over 4 years and seven times out of ten shopping trips something is always foul or bad! Bad chicken, even foul old frozen food like lasagna! Even foul frozen pizza???!! How is your frozen food going bad? We are Losing so much money in food from shopping here! It happens way too often!!!!
Please fix your quality!!!
Also if you walk through by the bathroom you will come home smelling like gone bad fish!!!
Also never enough frosted sprinkle chocolate donuts .. they make so many of the other kinds but sell out of the best kind most families love! Please make more frosted chocolate donuts with sprinkles because there is never enough!!Jun 10, 2023 -
So far no matter what time of day I shop here they have functional, fully charged motorized shopping carts. Having a disability whether temporary or otherwise being able to access groceries and other necessities is a major deal. I appreciate the care this location takes to ensure ALL their customers are able to shop for what they need.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Also if you are a pro like me at picking bad fruit/veggies that go bad in a couple days then they will refund your money and let you pick new berries. During COVID they will not take the bad produce back but will allow you to grab new produce.
Giants also has the best birthday balloon, they can be a little costly but they are always so fun.
Lastly their clearance items are great, I got armaryllis for so cheap. They also discount pet toys and food quite often. I got these adorable cat toys for .99.Nov 16, 2022 -
$2.00 each or $4.59. Why you have to buy 4 to get good price?. Retailer fooling customers. If Giant sell 4 for $8.00 they are winning minimum $1.00 but if sell one they are winning $3.59. Again the manager is fooling customers in this times that people are struggling with the economy

I switched to this Giant pharmacy from a big chain (after having to wait 20+ days for medications at the chain pharmacy) and am thrilled with the service. My prescriptions are refilled on time. When I get a notification that something is ready, when I show up, it’s actually in stock and ready. Thanks so much to a great pharmacy staff!!

This may or may not be the best Giant in the area, as they are all comparably amazing. This location has great staff, the store is clean, and they restock shelves all the time. The lines can get long at peak hours but they usually get massive waves of customers out of the store more quickly than the other locations within 5 miles of here for sure.

I'm particularly happy with the Pharmacy staff. They're always very helpful and cheerful. Everyone else is very helpful and if I can't find something they are more than happy to help. I particularly like Joe (mgr?), who always has a big smile for everyone and asks how I'm doing. Monica White is a wonderful cashier.
