Great service. Awesome place. I haven't visited this place in about 20 years since I moved away from Germantown. I had a doctor's appointment today right next to it and my car started acting up on the way down on 270 from, Frederick. I was able to drop it in the front. Leave my keys with them. By the time I came out of the doctor's appointment they solved the problem and did he not charge me great place highly recommended
Very pleased with the service and professionalism while getting my car serviced. Easy to book appointments online, I received photos of the work and recommendations on my phone, and was able to pay via an electronic invoice. All very convenient. Mario was great at explaining all the work, offering options, and working with me. Will definitely be returning.
Charged me over $400 to look at my rusty hood latch, grease it, and test my TPMS sensors. Then wanted to charge me another $350 to replace two of the TPMS sensors -- a job that Costco would do for $100. Stay away!
They were kind, patient, and honest while performing state inspection on my newly purchased used car. All the issues they brought up were valid. The shuttle service was very convenient. Everyone I interacted with at the shop was polite and professional. Would recommend!

As a fleet manager, I deal with shops of all kinds. What sets Precision apart is the speed of repair, professionalism and most of all, communication. Most recent example is a car of ours that ended up with some complicated work. Mario and the helpful front desk were texting and calling the whole way through with solutions, possible issues, price changes, schedule and more. I always feel like I’m in good hands with this shop and I truly dont give the repair a second thought once it’s dropped off, unlike other shops who I have to constantly call, wonder if they know what they are doing or if they are gouging me for extra, sometimes unneeded, repairs. Truly one of the best shops I deal with out of many !
Another great experience with Precision Auto. I needed two rear tires replaced. Stopped by on a Thursday afternoon. The guy took a look, confirmed that new tires were needed and ordered the tires for me. Since my work place is walking distance from this shop, I dropped my car off Monday morning, walked to work, then in the afternoon they called me to let me know that the car was done, I made the payment online, walked to pick up my car after hours and got my key back with this drop box that I could entered a code. Whole process nice and smooth. They said they might need to do alignment but ended up not doing it because it wasn’t necessary. Really appreciate their honesty. Highly recommend this place.
Bought a car in VA, had it inspected here. Needed some work to pass inspection. Service was great from the time I called to schedule up through the follow up after-the-fact to see if my experience was good or if they could improve anything. Every person I spoke to or interacted with made me feel valued and it was natural for them, nothing seemed forced or scripted. Great explanation of the work that needed to be done (with video documentation and a report), work was done promptly, car returned in good order and I used their shuttle which was prompt and clean. No complaints, good experience.
Everyone I dealt with at Precision Auto was very pleasant and professional. They kept me updated as to how long to expect the appointment to take, the necessary repairs to pass inspection, and as a bonus they offer a complimentary local shuttle. I recently purchased a used 2010 MB C 300 from Precision Auto and could not be happier with my purchase. I've owned several used vehicles over the years and have a high degree of awareness of vehicle quality, maintenance history and integrity of sellers. Mr. Bud Wildman facilitated the transaction and he's very knowledgeable about cars, professional, courteous, and helpful. My car was fully inspected, with a Carfax report, a maintenance report by Precision, and it was detailed inside and out. I recently drove the car to St. Louis and back (about 1800 miles roundtrip) and had no problems at all. I also noticed that their service department is managed very well with polite employees and is extremely clean. I highly recommend giving Precision a call if you are looking for a used car or need service.
This is the only one place that could help fix a flat on my Tesla tire. Other ‘well known’ tire shops didnt have the expertise and recommended replacement.
Precision Auto knows their skillset and have the confidence to get auto problems solved.
I had the most wonderful experience at this shop. After using Google to try to diagnose my own problem, it sounded like a very expensive repair. They did a thorough look, told me about the minor issue causing the problem, and got me back on the road quickly. I have found our new personal mechanic shop. What a relief to know where to go! I did not end up getting my car serviced with Precision Auto but I wanted to leave a review for their wonderful service. I started making an online appointment over the weekend and they called me as soon as they opened on Monday morning. They gave me options for my service, allowed me to email my invoice from my dealership to gauge an accurate service quote, along with sending me details for their car lending service. I emailed them my invoice at 11:30 am and they got back to me by 2:00 pm. While I decided to not go with Precision auto due to distance from my home and job, with their prompt responses and the overall care they took to provide me with as much information to make an informed decision for my vehicle, I would absolutely recommend their business!!
Very happy with the service provided by Mario,he was very respectful in explaining the tracking of a transmission fluid leak and air conditioner freon leak. All was working great when I departed. I'm happy with the service provided by Mario!
Precision Auto always does an amazing job. Mario is great at explaining what is necessary and what I should just keep an eye on for the time being. The after hours drop off and pick up is amazing. Super helpful for anyone with 9-5s or kids that can’t work around their normal business hours. 10/10 will always recommend them!

only two issues: -I had to take to take my car in a second time due to a scheduling/computer error(?). Not a huge deal, these things happen. -Prices were oddly high, $195 for a state inspection, and $200-300 to replace a wheel stud ($3 part, a sledgehammer and 20 minutes) and a serpentine belt (the world's easiest belt to replace, $30 part, a 14mm, and 5 minutes of time) each! (feel free to reach out to me if the estimate was off, I'll update this) -You may want to be careful with their repair recommendations, I was recommended to get my coolant replaced and an alignment done, both of which would have been unnecessary (they offer their explanation below).

I left work last week with a flat tire. Went across the street and this wonderful, professional team squeezed me in at the end of the day and fixed my tire and sent me home safely. Can’t thank them enough. Very professional and caring. Recommend highly!
I have been going to precision for the last year now. It’s a top notch company that goes the extra mile to make sure their customers are taken care of. Everything they do is transparent and honest and I feel 100% comfortable with having Precision taking care of all my automotive needs.
My car failed inspection. They quoted me more than $1,000 for two tire changes, alignment and wiper change. I also had a repair recommendation for my cabin and engine filter requiring a change but this wasn’t even included in the $1,000 they quoted me, these would be extra charge. This also doesn’t include the $175 charge for state inspection plus $35 for bringing it back after repairs.
Given the high price - I bought the wipers for $15 off of Amazon, and spent $40 on two filters. A couple Youtube videos and literally 20 minutes later, I was all done with wipers and filters. They quoted me $90 for the wiper change alone and it was literally a “push a button and remove the old one” kind of labor that took maybe a minute? So, basically they wanted 6 times as much of material for their labor.
I also ended up taking my car to another shop because I didn’t have the equipment to change my own tires and the other shop changed my two old tires to brand new tires of the same brand I had (which I already knew to be $130-140) and did alignment, all for $500. So that was around $260 for material and the rest for labor. Almost half the price that Precision Auto quoted me.
The only good thing about all this was that Precision Auto had a complimentary driver to take me back when I had dropped off my car. Other than that, I think they take advantage of people’s lack of understanding and fear with some of these repairs - they charge such steep prices because they 1) either don’t want to deal with some of the easier tasks 2) they are looking to fool anyone who would take the bait and pay regardless. Overall, would not recommend.
I had two cars serviced at Precision Auto this week and they did a great job on both of them. I love that they send you a detailed report along with a photo of each item reviewed and are willing to take the time to explain any required or suggested work. Highly recommend!
Have always had great service from Precision. They are always open and honest. They provide a detailed report on the current state of the car, they talk through any recommendations they may have. Brought in a car that had an issue, but the issue was not happening. They were honest about the fact that without the error currently happening they were not able to address it, and thus were not charging me for it. Ended up getting an oil change and they inspected the car. They were quick and kept me up to date with clear text messages and phone calls
I have been taking my out of warranty vehicle to Precision Auto for the last 5 years and have always been pleased with their service. Everyone is always pleasant and makes you actually feel welcome, unlike most places that make you feel just like another dollar sign. Precision Auto is also very flexible, patient and accommodating such as online scheduling and shuttle transportation. The most important Precision Auto quality is their trust. Trust is the most valuable quality in regards to the auto service and can be hard to find, fortunately Precision Auto's top quality is "Trust." Unless you personally know a mechanic, I would definitely recommend taking your older vehicles to Precision Auto.
My 17yo RAV4 had not been driven in 2 years and I needed to get it running. From my first call to completion of the service, I was treated to an excellent repair service and customer focused experience. I received timely updates and photos of my vehicle and detailed explanations of the cost. I highly recommend Precision Auto, and will be using them from now on for service. Brought my car here after noticing coolant leaking. Diagnosis was insightful and I was not offered any random add-on services. Repair took a little longer than expected to ensure car ran well. Communication is great and any questions I had were answered. Staff are knowledgeable and work is good quality. Unfortunately my license plate was bent and my front bumper now has a bunch of new scratches. After offering to correct the issue, my plate was bent back and apologies were offered. Good and honest work being done here just unfortunate the car was damaged.
