Very disappointed with the service here. Second time I have used this place to get new tires for two separate vehicles. Had an appointment at 12 to put in tires through the online system and tires I ordered were not here. Waited all day again for the service. Terrible system with terrible service.
They were so nice and considerate. Went there to remove nail on my tire and was attended to nicely, though waited a bit long but at the end didn't even charge me for the service. Coming back here.
I’m most impressed by NTB in Germantown. I took my car to them due to the low-pressure tire light on my dashboard (which stayed on despite previously filling air); they checked all my tires, filled air, and charged me nothing. Very professional, courteous staff!
Terrible experience. Had an appointment for two tires and an alignment. Made the appointment for an alignment but they had a good deal if I got tires as well. Spoke to the front desk guy upon arrival about how bad my alignment was and requested they check the tire pressure in my rear tires. After 1hour and 45 minutes in the waiting room, I asked for the print out for the alignment, buddy said they couldn't align my vehicle. Which was the whole reason I started this out. They then didnt touch my truck for another hour. 3 hours and 51 minutes later they were finally done. The front desk guy argued I should have taken my business elsewhere they dont align DRW trucks here. He stated they aired my tires up, when the tech brought my keys to me, the tech stated they couldn't put in my back tires because of the type of air gauge they use. I would avoid this place. Took just shy of 4 hours to get two tires and an alignment. Sevred up with attitude and no professionalism.
Extremely appreciative of this place. I don’t know much about cars and tires but they’re so thorough and patient when providing assistance. S/o to Eddy there who was so kind & diligent!
Great service as well as help with technical issues. Very knowledgeable and respectful. Great prices and very fast timing. No bad issues at all. Would recommend to anyone needing service done.
Steve was a tremendous help when I came in moments before they closed for the night when a storm was coming in. He got me a great price on a new tire when the side wall of mine split and was patient waiting for me to come to get my car until I was plowed out. Great communication and service!!
Not only did they take an extra day to complete my break change when they told me it would only take a few hours, but I’m pretty sure that while my car was in the shop they accidentally put a nail into the back tire.
I didn’t drive my car for two days due to waiting on the appointment for repairs and the tire was fine, within 12 hours of leaving the NTB my tire was completely flat and I need to get towed and have the tire replaced (all this after the mechanic told me the tire was holding).
This was my first ever visit to a tire & battery service shop and it was a wonderful experience overall, so smooth and easy. I visited to get a replacement for one the tires of my vehicle, as it got damaged from some collision. The staff was super supportive and helpful in making me understand about the charges, the process and the available options and overall it was great. I definitely recommend this shop and would be coming here in case I feel any issue in tires or batteries. They even did complementary checks to some of the key parts if everything is working fine in the vehicle.
The prices for your tires are nowhere close to being competitive with other sellers. For example, the Arroyo Grand Sport A/S 245/45R18 ZR 100Y XL tires sold by you are $157. Sure you offer $20 discount to bring the price down to $137. Look at these other options: Priority Tire ($84), Walmart ($80), Ebay ($90). NewEgg (predominately sells IT products, $93). I priced these same tires with other vendors (online and local), the trends with the comparisons and results remains the same. Also note that shipping/delivery is free with the other vendors. If that’s the case with your tires, then I would hate to see how your other offerings compare to other vendors.
The only positive aspect regarding the transaction with NTB/Mavis was the customer service provided Casandra. I wish I could provide a last name but I don’t have that information. She was very courteous and provided timely status updates. Cassandra also mentioned and suggested using the online rebates. She was very communicative throughout the whole process. When it comes to recommending NTB to a family member or a friend? NO, I would suggest that they opt to get their tires from another vendor. It was VERY disappointing to see the huge difference in the price comparisons when I returned home. Hopefully this survey gets to the right person in your organization who could change your strategy when it comes to pricing. I do plan on checking Yelp and Google reviews to see if others express this same sentiment. If not, I do hope that posting my experience will save others time when they search for information on those popular review sites.
This ntb location was amazing . ! This morning Steve and Kassandra were amazing!! We were in an emergncy situation! Tesla couldn’t even help us with efficiency and affordability!!!! These people made it happen!!!! If your a Tesla owner go to them for your Tesla needs they were amazing ! Their Tesla alignment is 199.99 !!!! They met our tire needs . But any car needs to go here !!! Despite the make and model!
I have been coming to NTB auto for more than 20 years. My Tesla had a nail in my tire and they NTB auto technicians took care of me right away. I appreciate the expedient service on NYE.

I want to give a huge shoutout to NTB at 12900 Wisteria Dr, Germantown, MD. They went above and beyond to make sure my tires were changed on time so I could get my daughter to her cheer competition without any delays. As a parent, that meant everything to me.
Every time I come to this location, the staff is professional, respectful, and communicates extremely well. They keep me informed throughout the process and always make sure the job is done right. It’s rare to find a shop that consistently delivers great service, but this NTB does it every single visit.
Highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable service and a team that truly cares about their customers.
I had one of the most stressful and unsafe experiences ever with this NTB. I bought four brand-new tires, and the very next morning one of the tires actually came off the rim while I was driving. Not just a flat — the tire came OFF the rim. That should never happen after professional installation. My car was completely undriveable. I had to miss work, and even though I had roadside assistance, the tow provider they sent required payment upfront, which I didn’t have. I ended up stranded because of a situation caused entirely by this shop’s mistake. The day before, they told me one TPMS sensor was broken and charged me $130 to replace it. Then the next day, after the tire came off, suddenly two more sensors were “messed up” and they replaced those for free. Their own notes show the TPMS kit was installed incorrectly with a double washer — their error caused the air leak, which caused the tire to come off the rim. They admitted it was a mistake on their end, yet the only compensation they offered me was a refund of the $130 sensor I paid for. Nothing for the stress, the time, the missed work, or being stranded with no way to tow my car. They just remounted the tire and called it a day. This wasn’t just inconvenient - it was dangerous. A brand-new tire should NOT fall off the rim within 12 hours. I trusted them with my vehicle, and I ended up dealing with the consequences of their poor workmanship. I’m sharing this so other people know what they might be getting into with this location
Great service every time. Everyone here is friendly and greets you. No complaints at all. Luckily, the tire warranty I bought in 2024 has covered both patches I’ve needed for my rear sumitomo tires.
This is the second time I’ve gone there asking them to solve an issue, and their response was: “We have to change the whole thing; it costs $$$.” They didn’t even know what model my car was, which year it was, etc. They just threw a price at me along with, “It can’t be done any other way.” And guess what? Twenty minutes, a bit of imagination, and I fixed it on my own at zero expense. This time it was a problem with a valve. A few months ago, it was a pretty big nail in my tire, and again I was told to replace the whole tire. The Shell inspection point across the street solved that problem in 15 minutes for 30 bucks
I had an excellent experience at NTB – National Tire & Battery thanks to Eddy. He took great care of my car during a wheel alignment and made sure everything was done right. He was friendly, professional, and explained everything clearly.
FANTASTIC SRVC. I will recommend to all My friends & family. One thing I did notice is that sum customers forget that no matters how big or small the job is, it's not a two minute process. This is a vehicle that weighs a ton or two or more. They got so irate it was embarrassing. They don't get enough credit & they deserve so much more recognition for the hard work that they do. Remember they are working on our cars not just wiping windows.

Highly recommend getting your tires replaced here! I got all 4 replaced. Great guys and great service! They stayed open for 2 hours after the closing time to make sure they got it done the same day!

Had a very good experience yesterday at this NTB: service was brisk, efficient, and professional. I wanted to give special shout-out to Steve, who answered all my questions and gave me a ride over to my work while my car was being serviced. Went here Monday for new tires 10/13/25. Front desk guy great follow up called me back timely he took good care of me. But the mechanics scratched the Heck out of my rims scratching the paint off of my 12k rims. Each rim is 3k and they scratched each one, trying to remove the tire or what ever have you. Horrible service horrible place to get your tires done. They even removed the wieghts that were on the rim like why did they do that not something I asked for them to do. DONT GET TIRES HERE
Teachers, this place loves us! Mr. Eddy and Mr. Steve were courteous, patient and understanding. The service was timely and efficient. And they walked me through the service throughout the process. I received a teacher’s discount to boot
