Clean store with a seemingly good selection of stuff. The staff was very nice and Travice helped me swap a sun shield for one that actually fit my car. He even knew exactly what was wrong with the original shield after I told him what model my car was. Very knowledgeable.

At 8:50 we called after our battery wouldn't jump. They close at 9. Two employees stayed late to ensure we got a battery when no one else in town was willing. We were an hour away from home and it made all the difference. Great customer service and very much appropriciated!!
I want to give the benefit of doubt but I went here once and I will be taking my business to advance auto parts every time. I went in for a oil drain bolt and the employee looked it up for me and said that he doesn’t know what part number it is but that they had a bunch of plugs in the back of the store and I could go check it out myself.
Maybe he was having a bad day, but in retail you need to be on it with every customer.
rude, pushy manager at this store. i asked for help and was treated poorly as if they were too busy for me - 3 people standing around. sorry to be such a “burden “ as a customer who needs help
Just now, an elderly guy who says he's been working on cars forever looked up a battery for my pickup. He said "oops, I need to measure your present battery to know which one fits". I said this is one model of truck, with one size engine - it doesn't have 3 different sized battery trays. . . .the computer is telling you they all fit. He could not be convinced, so I bought from Advance Auto Parts in town. Sigh.
I went to this Damascus, Maryland AutoZone for the first time this morning. Their service was fantastic. The gentleman that helped me is named EJ. He offered to go outside with me and look at my project, which was a new license plate install on the front of my car. He got down on his knees and showed me exactly what to do, we went inside and found the parts. Fabulous service! Thank you EJ. This is a very nice AutoZone, just opened in the past few years in Damascus.
I like the damascus one. They seem to be a lot more friendly and willing to work with you on problems. I had a project and needed some very hard to find parts. Most were in stock but had to order some parts. Prices are cheaper than advanced auto and carquest.
The AutoZone in Abington, Va has great employees, Nicholas put a new battery in our car and we were on our way back to the mountains. So glad he did all the work. We almost got stuck on Whitehead. Thank you.
I was so frustrated today with replacing the windshield wipers on my Ford f250. Those package instructions always leave a lot to be desired. Thanks to Noah for helping me figure them out. Actually, thanks to Noah for doing it for me. You're the best Noah. Appreciate your help and your winning attitude! I'll be back soon. Autozone is my new favorite store.
Opened on 5/14/21. Former Burger King location. I think another parts store isn’t what was exactly needed here since they have Advance Auto and CarQuest nearby. I suppose having some more choices and competiton would be welcomed. Let’s see how it all works out.
