I had the most wonderful experience at this icecream yard truck! I’m not usually someone who eats ice cream, but they served me a brownie topped with hot fudge, whipped cream, and the perfect mix of KitKat, M&Ms, cherry and sprinkles. Heard about this new ice cream truck in Clarksburg and had to check it out. Did not disappoint. Took me and my husband so long to order because the flavor and topping options were too good we couldn’t decide. I got butterscotch with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. So good!! Can’t wait for when they get a brick and mortar store in the future.

I recently visited The Icecream Yard and had a fantastic experience! It had such a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a casual hangout or a family outing. The staff was friendly and helped me choose the perfect flavor from a wide variety of options –from classic chocolate and vanilla to unique Indian flavors options like Kesar Pistachio, Malai Kulfi and Butterscotch.
I opted for a scoop of the mint chocolate chip, and it was the best I’ve ever had – creamy, refreshing, and full of flavor. The portion sizes were humongous, and they even offer gluten-free, egg-free and dairy-free options, which is great for those with dietary restrictions. Plus, their waffle cones are incredibly crispy.
The setup itself was clean and cozy, with a few outdoor tables where you can enjoy your ice cream anyday. Overall, I highly recommend The Icecream Yard for anyone craving a delicious, refreshing dessert!
Icecream yard is the go to place to fulfill that icecream craving. I have tried quite a few of them and have never been disappointed. They have a range of unique flavors and are a must try. I am sure this place will be your go to place.
I came here due to a recommendation and I really was excited to try it. Unfortunately I wasn’t impressed. Hersheys Icecream isn’t anything special but when I am paying over $5 for an Icecream, I would think I would be getting something worth my time and money. Let alone I would be getting a full scoop of Icecream while also having to pay almost another dollar for a cone. I was almost disappointed at the speed of service. It was slow and the staff wasn’t very friendly. I had also asked some of the workers what their tipping situation was. They had told me that they only received cash tip WHICH IS ILLEGAL!!!!! These workers need to be compensated the full amount!!!
Other than all of that, I enjoyed the Icecream, but not the price. There definitely could be some changes made to make this business a lot more successful. Good job nevertheless!
Ran across this place at Gaithersburg Summerfest and found their permanent location in Clarksburg. Had mango previously, and now malai kulfi. Both excellent!
Really wanted to love this place and was excited to find it, but I'm pretty sure it's just Hershey's Ice Cream sold at a premium price. And, for the price, the scoop was pretty disappointing in size. Sad because the truck is cute and it's local.
Oh well, can't win them all. We'll stick to driving to Sarah's or Brusters for a much better value.

Been to this little ice cream truck twice and both times it was amazing. The ice cream is full of flavor and creamy. The real kind of creamy that lets you know it's handmade and not going to fit in your diet. But it's worth it. The ice cream is full of flavor and they have some unusual yet delicious flavors. One of which is a saffron ice cream with nuts. Another is a cardamom ice cream that's sooo good. The big grassy yard near the truck is an added bonus for kids to run off the sugar. Definitely a great spot to spend a hot summer day or night.
So happy to finally have a local ice cream spot. Giving 3 stars because the ice cream is just decent. Service is SO SLOW. It takes forever just to get a single cup of ice cream. Also the value for what you get is not good. It’s $5 for a single scoop and then you keep adding for basically anything else. The portion size is small. Overall I’m happy it’s here but they need to work on their service and value.

Oh, wow! That was impressive! Never tried ice cream with this much flavours in it! Malai Kulfi and the Kesar Pista, just wow! I found these guys at the MoCo Eats Gastronomic Fair, and they were my favorite! I recommend 👍🏻

Amazing place to chill in the evening with multiple options of mouth watering flavours of ice creams and milkshakes. Staff also was very friendly and helping with suggestions. Absoulute must go place in the evening. Best flavour is: cappuccino crunch
Awesome ice cream and amazing customer service! My family and I have been to Ice Cream Yard at least 5 times since it’s opened and we love it more and more each time. I’ve tried the Butterscotch milkshake and Kesar Pista (pistachio) milkshake and scoops. Delicious! The owners are super friendly and the ambience is beautiful.

Our family LOVES Ice Cream Yard. We have been eating their ice cream at least once or twice a week for the past couple months. While I love the simplicity of their vanilla flavor, they have a wide variety of flavors that my son loves (his fav is cotton candy and lil blue panda). Service is always amazing. You won’t be disappointed.
Amazing ice cream. I got the butterscotch and little blue panda and am in love. Jeni’s ice cream is my usual go to and this is as good if not better. I was initially confused when I pulled up thinking it was inside the church but it’s a van on the parking lot.
So happy to see a little gem like this added to Clarksburg (Lord knows we need it). I've been twice now and have really enjoyed the experience. The guys who serve are so helpful, quick, and generous with the samples, the ice cream itself is delicious (I fell for lil' blue panda both times), and the setting is just the cherry on top. Adjacent to a big beautiful lawn with picnic tables and some yard games. I know it's just a matter of time before this place blows up in popularity, so I'm delighted to have discovered it so early in its inception :)

What’s good so far? The atmosphere and location
The icecream yard is in the parking lot of the Clarksburg church with plenty of seating on the grass field
The truck itself is nice looking and the staff are friendly
355 is a little loud but the atmosphere is nice. It would be nice on a warm summer night
Jimmie cone and brusters are great but the icecream yard is local to Clarksburg and the atmosphere is arguably better
What’s could be better? The icecream and the value
The icecream is good but it’s not a wow…yet
I sampled a few flavors and they are a lot of unique options which are good. For instance roadrunner raspberry was a wow flavor
The icecream yard falls a little short in cone form though.
I got the Salty Caramel Truffle, 1 scoop in a waffle cone ~$6.34 after tax.
It was an 8/10. At first the icecream seemed like more ice than cream but it actually turned out to be the right ratio.
It was icy enough that it was very refreshing. This was one of the few ice creams I’ve had that was refreshing
The flavor was very good but the ratio of mix-ins to icecream could’ve been a little higher
Also the waffle cone does not seem to be homemade which is a little disappointing.
The waffle cone could’ve tasted a little better but really the best part about homemade waffle cones is that they are slightly bigger
Here they weren’t so I felt like I had 20% less icecream than an average waffle cone
Which leads me into my final point which is that the value doesn’t seem all the way there….yet. ~$6 for 1 scoop in a waffle cone is a little pricey for a smaller than average sized waffle cone
I think if the mix-in ratio goes up a little and they make homemade waffle cones then this can be a solid 5/5 icecream place for Clarksburg (which I hope happens)
Nonetheless It’s off to a great start and they have a lot of different options other than just icecream in a cone. The milkshakes and sundaes look great
