Today is my first time have my car serviced in this shop. Service is quick and professional. Price is fair. Highly recmond for car service here. I dont know much about car and i always hoping to get a little bit help in understanding what service i should get, Mr Kim gained my trust.

Fantastic shop; Fast, reliable, and easy! The estimate is clear and easy to read. I liked that the estimate is texted to you so you have time to look it over and decide what you want to move forward with. Very easy process to remove items from the estimate if you don't want them. Car was ready quickly despite needing to order parts. Very friendly staff! They really make you feel taken care of. Highly recommend.

They took great care of my car for a regular maintenance... It was quick and straightforward. That said, I'm not sure if business owners know how much it means when they casually tell customers how to save money. I was encouraged to change my filters on my own, "so you can save more money!" Nowadays it feels like every business wants to siphon money out of you, so I almost feel alarmed when I'm encouraged to avoid extra costs. It's a great way to show honesty. I will definitely come back for my next service.

10/10 stars!!!! Mr. Kim and his team are amazing! It is super quick to go in and make an appointment or book online. If they have a little waiting room for you, plus the gas station next door. He is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions and I felt like the prices were fair based on other places that I’ve been to! Highly recommend!!

Just had my wife's car repaired here this week, Jeep Wrangler 3.6V Engine.  It needed major engine work due to bad rocker arms, faulty/leaking gaskets, ignition and throttle issues.  I was able to make an appointment the next morning to get a diagnostic done, Mr. Kim not only was very responsive and honest but sent me detailed photos of the issues and what issues would need to be repaired. His price was very fair, service turnaround time was fast for a large job like this, especially compared to what I was being told to expect to pay in a Jeep forum that I belong to, especially for this area. He'll be my go-to family mechanic from this point forward, everyone knows a great mechanic is hard to find.  Thank you Mr. Kim!

Hands down my favorite car repair shop in the area. I love how open and honest everyone is here especially Mr Kim. Yumi is very welcoming and provides a family environment to the shop. Hopefully my car wont break down soon, but if so I highly reccomend taking it to these guys as they do great work!

I regularly service our family cars at Clarksburg Auto Service. Kim is very knowledgeable, he's a professional and I know I can trust him when I leave my car there to take care of the job and not have surprise bills at the end of the day. Last time I took my car to pass the MD inspection. I've done tire and balance, oil changes and brake service here. Thanks for your integrity!

Don't count on these people if you have a roadside emergency. I had a flat tire on I270 with a donut spare but 230 miles ahead. The tire could be repaired with a plug in 5 minutes but not here. No "really busy it could be an hour or two". They told me to leave it only offering to look at it sometime the next day.

Mr. Kim and his wife are a pleasure to work with. I have taken my civic to him for many years and he is always upfront and honest about the work that needs to be done. He is an honest mechanic and will only suggest what needs to be fixed without pressuring to do unnecessary repairs. Everytime I have gone to him for work, they immediately know who I am and that shows they treat their clients with respect and professionalism. Mr. Kim is the most honest mechanic I've met in my entire life. He will not try to sell you on stuff you do not need. He will only fix the problems that actually need fixing. I've been going to him for many years and he's the only one I trust in the state.

Be careful when you take your car to this mechanic shop because they will scam you. I need a Maryland state inspection for my car, which is running great and in good condition. I left my car at the mechanic shop the other day, and after 2 hours, I received a call from the shop that my car needed a new brake and caliper, which cost $990. I went there and took my car to another car repair shop, and they noticed somebody put a used and bad brake in my left back wheel, and my caliper is not bad at all. The new mechanic who discovered I was scammed charged me only $70 for my rear breaks replacement instead of $990.

Kim at the Auto Whiz Clarksburg Auto Center is very professional. We have been taking our vehicles to him for a few years now and have always been happy. The repairs have been very timely, Kim explains what he needs to do very thoroughly & will show you what he has done. We recently had new tires, a 2 inch leveling kit & wheel spacers added to my 2010 F150. I will continue to take my vehicles to Kim for future repairs.

Highly recommend this business! I took my car to them to have my tires checked, as the TPMS was showing low pressure. Unlike other auto service places I have used, the staff here did not act as if this was too minor for them to bother with. They checked the tires for leaks, nails, and other damage, and then brought the pressure in each tire back up to the recommended setting. They finished the job by re-setting the TPMS diagnostic light, and the charge was very reasonable. Competent, professional, caring people! Very clean waiting area. I will certainly be returning for other service needs in the future.

I’ve been going to Kim at Clarksburg Auto Service since pandemic, done my timing belt, brake changes and alternator and battery change and oil changes. He provided great services and reasonable pricing. Give him a try and you will see.

We dropped our car off for MD State Inspection to Mr. Kim. He told us it will be done by 11 am since we had no appointment, but he called us in about one hour that the inspection was done! Kim was very friendly and gave us helpful tips. The price is reasonable compared to other service places such as Auto stream, Exxon, and Shell auto service centers. Glad to support our local Clarksburg neighborhood vendor.

What a phenomenal experience. I took my VW Passat to the dealer for an annual check up/oil change. They had 5 “recommended” services, and they wanted to keep my car for 2-3 days. Knowing a little about cars myself, I thought the prices seemed rather high for what they wanted to do. Clarksburg Auto Service was highly recommended among our local community, so I dropped in. Within 5 minutes, I had an estimate that was over $1,000 less than what the dealer quoted, and they indicated that one of the recommended services was not even necessary to do upon inspection of the car. They also had all the work done same-day in about 6 hours. I couldn’t be more pleased with this experience, and I will be bringing my car here for all future service needs.

I recently had to have my front headlights replaced since 1 was out. I called and got a quick appointment for the same day. Showed up and they had me and my fixed headlights out in less than 20 min. I have been happy with whatever service and the associated prices I get from here. Would highly recommend!!

Third visit and writing. Arguably the best auto service in Maryland! This place is so wonderful. Professional and nice reservation system. And most of all, they are so kind that it makes me always feel happy when I go… Strongly recommended!!!

My husband and I were only about 1 hour into our cross-country trip when our very old Honda Odyssey started making a loud noise. We were lucky enough to be close to Clarksburg Auto Service where we were welcomed by Mr. and Mrs. Kim. Mr. Kim recognized the problem almost immediately and then made arrangements to get a replacement part. We were back on the road within a few hours. Their kindness, professionalism, and customer service are all exceptional. Honestly, it was the absolute best auto service I have ever received. Highly Recommend! (Now I wish I lived in Clarksburg!)

I had a flat tire, I knew it was losing air so I called the nearest auto shop which happened to be Clarksburg Auto Serice. They told me they were available to plug my tire, and when I arrived it took a lot of 30 minutes to do paper work and get my tire plugged. It was a simple job, but they did it well and timely! I'm pretty sure they also put air on all tires. It made a big difference in my car. Also appreciate that they gave me the total price up front, no hidden fees or taxes. I will come again!

Mr. Kim has been repairing all of my family autos for many years. I am pleased he finally opened his own business. He now has more freedom to provide the level of service he was restricted from providing while working for someone else. Mr. Kim is extremely knowledgeable in all mechanical areas and gives the best possible recommendations and work for the most reasonable price. My family members and friends all use Mr. Kim for their auto service needs.

I went to this place because its very close to my home. The location looks a bit strange since its a gas station too. The auto services are on the right if your facing the building. I think its owned separately. Mr. Kim inspected my vehicle on time. He told me when it would be ready and it was ready when I arrived. He took the time to explain the issues to remedy the vehicle inspection. He clearly is a honest man who is running an honest business. Very fortunate to have found such a great local business. I will be bringing all my cars here from now on.

Kim had been my mechanic for many years. His honesty and knowledge on auto repairs won me over from the start and has been my go to mechanic for all my family cars for many years. When I heard that he has opened a shop in Clarksburg right at the Liberty Gas Station, I was overjoyed as it was closer to my house. As expected, I required some work done on my car recently and I took my car to his shop and the professionalism and knowledge has carried over to his own business. If one needs work on their car and wants to find a good mechanic, one should really give him/business a try.
