This place is awesome! I greatly appreciate the men who work here. Ive gone twice without an appointment. (still make an appointment ! they are busy!) Once a tire plug and the other one of the guys helped me out with figuring out my car settings. Both times the men have been very nice and got me out of there within the hour or less. My battery recently died and had to be towed there. They gave no fuss having a car randomly show up in their lot. It was there a couple days just due to the volume of cars they had to work on and the front desk man explained it took so long because they have 2 diagnostic guys. (They try to give great communication:) They didnt let just anyone look at my car n call it a day, they are specific. Exactly what i needed. I got my car within an hour of them looking at it and replacing my battery. Their prices are fair too, not over pricey like the dealership will and not too cheap where you question it. Highly recommend this place<3

I've always had a good experience with them. I never feel like I've been taken because the price is always feels fair for the services performed. I also appreciate not getting a condescending tone when I talk to them either. Never had a bad experience or had to retake the car back in for the same problem. So give them a try if you haven't been.

This shop put a rear brake pad washer on poorly, missed a bad brake line, and replaced a caliper twice just to have me change it once again at a different shop for 500 dollars within a 2 year period. 3 calipers in 2 years is unbelievable. This auto shop insisted that I bring my vehicle back in to have it looked at even though they’ve looked at the same issue on 3 separate occasions and it still has not been fully fixed. I can show pictures of a broken washer that was put on wrong that caused my brake pads to be worn prematurely in addition to what was already said but I am sure it will amount to wasted time and no benefit. I do not expect any compensation for the damages to my vehicle but hope others can see this review so that they stay away from this shop.

Fantastic! This is a perfect example of the value of small business! We took our truck to FHA for routine maintenance. Not only were they honest, fair and fast and perfect in every way but the very same day, my son locked himself out with a dead battery and Nick ran over and helped us out. Been going here (and the other location) since they opened. There is no question that FHA is the most HONEST and best place in Harford County to have your vehicle serviced / fixed. My entire family goes here and have been more than satisfied for years.

Needed a tire replaced same day and it could not have gone any better. Very up front about prices and just overall great experience. Definitely will be bringing my car back to them.

Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever seen from an auto shop. Communication alone, disregard the actual repair, cost me over 230 dollars that they threw of mine in the trash. I told this shop I had a brand new sensor put in my car from a goodyear and the same error codes were still popping up. They said they wanted to put the same sensor in the car again, which is fine, but don’t throw away the brand new part that was just installed if I told you I just paid 230 to have it put in!!! Now I can’t even try to get any money back on it at all from the good year, nor did forest hill automotive say they would throw away my brand new part. My car is still not fixed. I am in disbelief. Edit: took my car to another forest hill automotive in hopes of changing this review and fixing my car but they won’t look at the car either nor even listen to what my experience was like since they talked with the other store and stopped while they were ahead. So much miscommunication I am dumb founded.

I have been to Forest Hill Automotive many times. Every time they practice customer service in a way seldom seen any more. The little things matter and the consistency in which they address customer concerns, maintain quality of repair, stay focused on attention to details and care about the work they do is next level. Respect is earned. They have it down!

Looking for great work plus honest people? Then this is the place for you and your automobile! Went in for a full (front & back) brake job. Got a call from them, and they said not to waste my money doing front brakes as there's still good pad left. They said all I needed was back brakes. Honest people, honest work, repeat business!👍

Great service and friendly staff - they fit me in same day to check a leak in my front tire and patched it for me quickly. Right after I left, I ended up with a screw in my other front tire (fantastic luck) and went back - they fixed it right away and didn’t charge me for it. Will definitely be back for any future service my car needs.

The absolute best for automotive services! The first thing you will notice when you call is the incredibly polite and friendly service. They are often backed up 2-3 day in schedule appointments but seem to work vehicles in early if you leave your vehicle with them. Prices have always been great and on occasions less than quoted. Not sure if they just completed the job quicker or what, but I will only ever bring my vehicles here.

So thankful for this company. My first time using them. I had a nail in my tire, they got me in immediately. I called numerous places that were completely booked and could care less I was in a bind . All I needed was a tire plugged. Unexpectedly they didn't even charge me! It's local businesses with customer service like this that need to be recognized. Thank you again!

I recently had to have my college son’s 2006 Honda Accord in for an emissions issue and failing power steering . I had replaced a couple of O2 sensors that didn’t work, and they found that they were not plugged in completely. They were very honest and corrected the issue and didn’t charge me. They properly diagnosed the steering issue as a leaking and failing pump. They degreased the engine, recommended and sourced an OEM Honda pump, and completed the repair within 24 hours as promised and actually less money than the quote amount authorized. The car was fixed properly the first time, Nick was excellent at communicating with me, and the pricing was fair and reasonable for the expert level of service you receive. I also had a set of 4 new tires installed on our suv and they got the balancing perfect the first time, which can be challenging for lesser skilled technicians on AT tires. I highly recommend Forest Hill Auto and they have a very solid reputation in our community and they continue to impress with their honest business practices and great work.

Always excellent service at a reasonable price. No pressure just honest diagnostic of your problem. It's so nice to get your car serviced and not have to be on the defense. My family will be customers for life.

I wanted to write this review, because of the superior service that I received today. My F-150's battery needed replaced, and my truck needed an oil change after moving to Maryland from Florida. I jumped my truck and drove there without an appointment, and it was obvious that they were extremely busy. They offered to squeeze me in, and within 15 minutes, they informed me that my battery was dead (Already knew this, so it was no surprise). They asked if I wanted them to replace is, and stated that I would be charged for the battery as insulation was free. I was informed that the battery had to be order, and that delivery would occur within the hour. The delivery took less time, the oil change was performed before the battery even arrived, and I watched them even top my tires off (air was a little low). When I went to pay for the work, I did so with cash, and was informed that there is a cash discount, and 35 dollars were taken off of my bill. To me the fact that they squeezed me into a busy schedule, performed task correctly and quickly, and demonstrated superior professionalism deserves recognition. Took My diesel pickup in for two new batteries and tire rotation. Took a little longer than I thought. However I did not have an appointment and they fit me in anyway. Friendly to the point service. Fair price and mechanic's who don't mind a question or two. My mechanic reset all my electronics. Took it for a test drive but didn't stick around for a tip. I will return again. Thanks

Extremely professional and trust worth. The service is done in a timely manner and well. The staff doesn't push for extra work to be done and they are honest in all their recommendations. I have been going there for sometime...I recommended them to my parents and friend and they are haven extremely happy too.

Your greeted at the front counter by the owner and his wife. They greet you with a smile and treat you like they've known you for years. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this local business but I will definitely be a returning customer.

I took two cars in here. The first had failed the MD state inspection at a different shop and they were extremely helpful in addressing these issues (many of which were petty and shouldn't have failed). They did some moderate repairs at prices lower than anywhere else I could find in the Forest Hill/Bel Air area. They even did some complimentary minor tune ups that addressed the petty issues from the other shop to help me pass the state inspection. After the bad experience at the other shop and the exceptional experience at this shop I took my second car here for the MD state inspection. They were able to get it in on short notice and had it back to me in a timely manner. For both instances the staff were very friendly and helpful. They made me feel comfortable leaving both cars there. I highly recommend this place for their exceptional service, great prices, and wonderful staff.

Discovered I had a nail in my tire, Googled for an auto repair shop near home and discovered Forest Hill Automotive whose website reflected positive reviews. Took my car there when they opened at 8 am and was in and out in 25 minutes. No charge!!! They have a small but very clean and warm waiting room. I will definitely bring my car back here!!!!! They seemed to have a brisk business and witnessed many coming in and leaving their vehicles for repair.

I took my car in for an issue with my transmission. They were able to make the repairs necessary and save my transmission, all while staying under the price I was quoted. They were very helpful and honest. I will definitely be taking my car back to them.

Dave and his team are not only professional, but honest with us about all repairs that need to be completed (unfortunately, this hasn't been our experience at other shops in Bel Air). For over three years, we've been taking our cars to Forest Hill Automotive for repairs and have never walked away not satisfied with the work done.
