That guy was so rude and belligerent on the phone that I would never use them. I don't know if he is just having a bad day or if he really is that big of a tool. Either way, not worth it.
Thank you US 1 for taking care of my daughters tire problem today. She showed up without an appointment and Harold and Joe took great care of her and her car. Having a local shop that will fit you in their busy day is very much appreciated.
Was really happy with a vehicle purchase there and some work that was done on more than one occasion. Then prices started being raised and things started being done without approval. I liked Joe and I appreciated the positives but the negatives became more than the positives so I took my business elsewhere and that’s a shame because I own a lot of vehicles and having a reasonable, trustworthy mechanic is important
We have bought 2 cars from Mr. Joe and he has been so wonderful and patient with us each time. 1 month after purchasing the 1st used car, it was totaled. The ins gave us the same amount Mr. Joe charged(meaning, he's barely making any money on these vehicles).
Everyone at the shop has been delightful to deal with; in person and on the phone.

My daughter flipped her car and they towed it to their yard. The owner was very nice, helped me with just taking the car for salvage and taking some money off the bill. Even gave my daughter a pep talk about driving and was sincerely happy to see her and that she was still alive( only by the grace of God) . Very nice owner and helpful..
Joe at US1 helped me out in a pinch! I'm in the area on vacation and needed a wheel and tire since my rim got bent and the tire was trashed. He was able to get a replacement for me, the price was very reasonable, and they changed out my tire in 20 minutes! Absolutely fantastic service and helpful folks! I can not begin to explain how AMAZING Austin and his garage is! Very trustworthy, very reasonably priced, very friendly! Our car broke down on Christmas morning and I was worried it was the whole transmission! I stopped in the day after Christmas and Austin was friendly from the second I walked in! He towed our car back to our shop, looked it over, figured out it wasn’t the transmission, figured out what was wrong with it and quickly got my family’s only car back on the road! Car service gives me anxiety, but I will never take my car anywhere else other then US1 Sales & Service and Austin and team! Thank you!

Had a battery changed for the car with AAA discount. Service was not long and they checked the alternator and old battery to make sure it needed changing first. Good service and knowledgeable people.
Had a rebuilt engine put into my car and it came back leaking oil from apparently every gasket installed. Took it back and they wanted to charge to correct (original bill was not a bargain) so I took it elsewhere.
I was referred to go to them for my motorcycle inspection and man I couldn’t be more happy great group of guys to work with makes you feel at home when you are in there More then 5 stars for sure they will from now on get my business wish I knew about them sooner
I would give no stars but you don't have a choice. I went to get an inspection after I drove out of my way to get there. About 25 miles ea way. They ask me to kill some time about an hour and 1/2 they were busy and had to take lunch so I came back and they said were to busy we can't get to you today?
Joe is a great, honest, and a genuine old school mechanic! His staff is very understanding and they break things down in simplistic terms for even this single mom to understand! Steve always greets with a smile and a positive attitude. They stick to their word and have a great turn around time!
Joe has always treated me great. I've bought his vehicles and never had an issue. He has always been honest about his work and cared for the well being of my safety when it comes to repairs. An awesome dude. If I can't fix it , I go to him . Thank you Joe.
Scheduled my truck for a state inspection for first thing in morning, explaining that I had little time due to work. Almost 2 hours later, I am still sat there waiting for the inspection guy to turn up.
Not any fault of the mechanics working in the shop, they are very nice and genuinely apologetic, this was completely out of their control.. cannot fault them... turns out the owner is the one who sent their only inspection tech to PA on a job when vehicles had been booked in for first thing in the morning.
My review is not a reflection on the lads in the shop, but of the piss poor planning of the owner.
First took my truck here because it was on AAA's list of mechanic shops. Close to the house so it works for me. Needed wheel bearing rotor and caliper. Had it for say 2 days well whatever. About 4 or 5 months go by and boom same wheel bearing tore up so they stand by the warranty and replace it after 3 days.....what a joke. Next 3 weeks go by and boom same wheel bearing goes up and takes out my outer axle seal as well. All that the owner says is bring it back and they'll fix it. Not this time . Dont waste your time here owner is crooked that uses cheap parts and is slow as molasses. I should have listened to everyone else that complained about this shop. So I'm out $1000 and for nothing. Wouldn't even cough up the cost for the BS bearing he provided . I figured this would help others in this area by doing this. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP......CHEAP PARTS AND SLOW WORK
Absolute thieves. They survive towing cars and then sort of do the other stuff on the side. Literally the worst, and the owner (or the clown who pretends to be) is a classic Napoleon complex. Avoid these guys like the plague. Just go anywhere else.

Price at the end was not what I had been quoted. The people are fairly unfriendly, and when I was told that the guy put an A/C belt on for me, I assumed he was being nice and giving some free service to say thank you for choosing US1 Auto Sales and Service! Nope, he charged me for it. Will never be going back.
Place will rip you off, and then make it seem like your at fault. TERRIBLE PLACE OF BUSINESS. Do not go here, I promise you will be very upset with whatever they do for you. They are rude, and do not care about their customers, all they care about is insurance money and once they get that... it’s a big “screw you I don’t have to do anything for you anymore”. DO NOT GO HERE.
10 months for a paint job, get it back and there is orange peel all over it and bubbling. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE THIS PLACE IS A SCAM AND DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. If I could give this place a 0 I would. Absolutely horrible. They are the worst people to deal with for anything auto related. I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING WITH A MOTOR TO THIS PLACE, they will make you regret it.
My husband was interested in a truck he saw on their site. He drove the 27 miles one way to check it out on a sun when they were closed, just to look over the outside n peer in the windows. He called them Monday morning n said he wanted to test drive it. But wanted 2 make sure the truck was good to go before wasting the trip since its not right around the corner. He was assured it was a grwat truck. We got the approval n had the check in hand when we got there. We took it for a drive, the whole truck shook, n it was hesitating. We left after being told it would be fixed. We get the call a week later its good 2 go. Drive all the way back up there.... Drive it, seemed fine. Give them their money n Go 2 rofo 2 get gas n it starts hesitating again. So we took it back. 4 days later its supposedly ready. So we drive back up there. Get 1/2 way home n the brakes r squeaking. We brought it home cuz apparently their people can't fix thing correctly. Took it 2 our mechanic in the morning n they replace rear brakes, drums, an emergency brake adjuster cable that was missing all to the tune of $350. After paying $7000 for the truck. Found 3 things that shouldnt have allowed it to pass inspection. Getting it reinspected this weekend. I called joe n his response was I should,have brought it back to his guys n he doesnt pay for someone else's repair bill.... Why in gods name would I drive almost 60 mile round trip,for a 5th time whe, ur guys couldnt fix it correctly thw first 4 times????? Save urself the hassle n shop elsewhere.... I wish we had.
I was looking for a vehicle I could put a wheelchair lift on. I spoke to Steve. I told him I was disabled and needed to get a ruse there. He offered to bring the vehicle to me. After test driving it I told him I'd take. There were a couple of things I wanted to take care of. He got those items fixed and brought it back to my house. Signed the paperwork at my house and took delivery. I had another small issue. When I went there to pickup my tags I showed him a a small problem with the driver's door. He said he would take care of it. Great guy, made the whole thing easy. I recommend this place.
They rip everyone off. My sister got in a car accident and needed stuff from her car, and they didn't even let her see it without paying the tow fee. They also didn't let her take her tags before it was towed. They definitely try and suck as much money as they can out of people, seeing that they did my other sister's inspection all wrong that cost her a thousand bucks. I do not recommend this place.
Joe Neukum and crew have serviced our family cars for years. I am glad I have a reliable and trustworthy place to take my auto. Reasonable prices I can count on especially compared to the dealers south in Belair. I am glad to support a small business and Joe!
Anything Diesel Jeff Leigh is your guy, He rebuilt my truck from the ground up. He did an amazing job I would definitely say one of the best diesel mechanics in Harford County along with the fairest and honest, he walked me through the rebuild step-by-step. So anything Diesel or Diesel performance US 1 is the place
Always have a great experience! All the staff is very friendly and knowledgable. I've had multiple cars worked on for various issues. From haveing an A/C leak fixed to getting a motor rebuilt. They also painted an older Chevy I had and did a spectacular job. The pricing is always competitive. I recommend everyone to bring their vehicle here. Would give it 6 stars if I could
These guys suck. My truck sat there for 3 months!!!! And they charged me 900 bucks to rebuild the carb and put a "NEW" gas tank in it, it looks like the old one dipped in plastic.
Consigned an RV for sale here when I had to move out of town. The owners have been very flexible and supportive while we try and sell this older model. Friendly staff all around.
