Way overpriced now :( found a free people pj top with the clasp ripped off priced at $21…

Why are they upping the prices at the register? It’s happened twice where I will take an item up and they’ll look at the product before scanning it, not scan it, then say the price is actually more expensive than what is stapled on to the item. I’m just very confused why this keeps happening. It’s second hand things they get for free, yet they will put an already ridiculous price for something and then make it more expensive at the register??? Is that not scamming? I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Nice items but was kicked out for rushing to the bathroom (I drink coffee / eDrinks). Not exactly how to treat people (also ignored). They told all the employees, too "not allowed there". Completely disrespectful. I don't usually leave bad reviews but out here in the area this seems to be the tendancy of the locals. It's just how it is. Hopefully for the time being **shrugs**

This location has also begun to price increase some of their donated items for higher prices. You're almost better searching online yard sale groups and online market places. Depending on what you're looking for. Its also off putting seeing dollar store or five below items listed at a 200% market up

This location can be a hit or miss for me, but it is well organized and has friendly staff.

I can always find something that catches my eye here. Things are organized well. They offer a variety of products at a decent price. I also donate my used clothes there. I go often!

By far the worst goodwill, the prices are getting out of hand. Absolutely disgusting how items they get for free the price this high

Some stuff are way so overpriced like worn children’s clothes. Just why??

It was pretty well organized, but for a goodwill, the prices were crazy. The woman working at the front was super friendly though and helpful!

Good selection of mostly clothes. I'd say around 75% of the store is clothing. They do have some alright looking furniture near the far back. Pretty clean location, you can tell they take care to be orderly.

We took a truck full of items to drop off but the lady who came to unload was so nasty in saying that "we don't take all these things" and started picking through them. I understand they don't take everything but it's was her attitude and the way she did it. We had 4 more big boxes of good clothes but did not feel like coming back to bring it here. Adding to my previous review... I understand that goodwill needs to make money and support employees and business....but these items are used and donated....I saw a simple dress today here same as I bought new from Walmart for $9 regular price and here it was 12.99

The assistant manager Taylor went above and beyond to help and was so appreciative. It was the end of the day, and I'm sure he was tired. However, we had the best service ever! Best of all, he had an amazing attitude!

We went into the Walkersville store and grabbed some items off the Christmas rack which was all marked down to 75% off. But oh no, at checkout these items are marked as electronics instead and therefore they aren’t marked down at all. IMO. False advertising and manager refused to make it right.

I like this store, but every time I come in the overhead music is way too loud and makes for an unenjoyable shopping experience. It's almost unbearable. I don't see why it needs to be a such a high volume.

Thank for the reviews. I'm sorry to the ones who didn't find it appealing. We as the staff try our best to please. I'll apologize for the thought of lack of employees in the floor, I can tell you it's more them you think. Any questions the caishers will be happy to help.

I'm halfway reluctant to post this rave review as not to reveal my this well-kept secret and hidden gem of a spot! But nontheless, it is well-deserved... so here goes. Sigh. I always have fun roaming around this Goodwill and rarely leave empty-handed. It's never too crowded, so for those like myself who like to dig deep for treasure, for that one perfect thing, and want to enjoy the hunt, this store is great. Friendly staff, clean, big, with a wide variety of everything. I frequent this spot since I live across the street, yet the inventory is constantly turning over: theres always something to look through. Vast selection of artwork and beautiful frames (look beyond what's in the frame!). The furniture section, however, leaves some to be desired. But at the same time, to each their own! You're sure to find whatever you want, need, or never even knew you needed! I have visited the newer Goodwill location in Frederick which pales in comparison to Walkersville, to say the least. Take it from an avid hunter... happy thrifting awaits!

when you first walking it smells like bleach and the customer service is really bad because there's like only two people walk in the store and most of the clothing is old people clothing and the toys look like they were from 1980

I've been going to the Monocacy Valley chain for years and they went downhill after merging. The prices are all over the place, there's buried deals, but clearly broken electronics are way too expensive. These stores will seem nice to new shoppers, but are shadows of their former glory.

Used to be a weekly stop to find great deals at an affordable price…. Not the case anymore. Way overpriced!!! Shoes for $60 ? That the paint is chipping & has heel drag ? Lol If it’s name brand, they are priced for top dollar ? I’ll pass, way better options in Frederick

It's been easier to find what I'm looking for every since they have changed their shelving. The books at this location are very low priced as well are their crafting goods and the selection is somewhat organized. I only purchase books and crafting supplies here.

This location was the best 2-3 years ago but ever since they made the change inside the store it has completely went downhill and their prices are extremely high for a thrift store. It’s like all of the good items never make it out to the floor as I constantly see the same merchandise every time I visit here which causes me to just walk out. ?

Lots of browse, but WAY too many people. Luckily everyone had mask, but just to packed for comfort.

There is a male manager there that is so rude to his employees. He needs an attitude adjustment. These employees are so sweet and working hard and he puts them down in front of customers. Maybe corporate needs to check their managers.

It was a total mess on all the shelves. When they first opened it was kept clean and neat. The prices have gone way up and for most items I could get them at another store for the same price or close for brand new. I will not be shopping there any more.

Not enough cashiers. Stood in line for a good 10 minutes. Instead of more security may be more cashiers. Then you could drop prices a little. Some items are too high.

Clean, well-organized, friendly staff! (Please don't put stickers on books... they don't come off :-)

Goodwill used to be a great place to shop if you were on a fixed income. not any more, why when the 50% color is changing do you have your employess pulling that color off the racks/shelves? Then when you go in that next day to shop using the new color, there are just a few items there. the day before there was a lot. It seems like the old bait and switch to me. I have emailed corporate about this and have never gotten a response. Not that I expected one.

Staff seemed helpful and courteous, at least in terms of what to be expected at goodwill location. Mostly very distressed items on the floor, more so than the typical goodwill probably because when I picked up a nice vintage item to purchase I overheard one employee say to another when she saw it in my cart..."who put that item out here, we save all the good stuff for ourselves to take home and sell so we can make money" then she proceeded to pick up a few other items and take them off the floor and to the back room. Correct me if I am wrong but is it not the point of goodwill to sell the merchandise to support their programs, not let the employees take the items home to sell themselves.
