Wasted my time and money. I asked for repairs on my brakes And wheel bearings regarding a sound I was hearing and they didn’t check thoroughly or address the concerns I expressed over the phone.

I took my vehicle here to get a state inspection and I can not recommend Brownie's enough. I was very nervous and cautious with this whole process because I have heard horror stories of mechanic shops lying to customers about what their car needs to pass a state inspection. I dropped my car off at night, and first thing in the morning, Brownies called me to let me know they started working. Within 3 hours, they called me to say the inspection was complete and that my vehicle passed. I am so happy to have found an honest and reputable shop. I recommend ANYONE to come to Brownies for any of your auto needs. They definitely have earned my business moving forward. Great work, Brownie's and team!

Great, reliable, honest shop. My car is almost 13 years old and 184k miles. I haven't needed any major work done, but they have always taken care of it.

76 years old and in need of a battery for my 02 Civic. Drove to the garage and made arrangements for a new battery. They kept the car and drove me home. When all was finished they came to my house, picked me up and took me back to my car. They also found a burnt out brake light that was unknown to me. Fair price and excellent in every way!

ZERO STARS! Asked if they could patch my tire, even had the guy come look to make sure it could be patched he said yes. Went to pick up paid $30 and the tire was plugged. I could have bought a plug kit for $3 and did myself in 5 minutes! So I wasted my time and money with this place!! Never will I go there for anything again, and I will never recommend anyone there. In fact I will share my story to all so they don't go and they keep the word passing! Very disappointed!

Great service! Always friendly and helpful. They are well priced. The best part is that they get things done in a timely manner.

This is by far the best and only shop I recommend. My mom started coming here in the 90's when we moved to Walkersville and her grandchildren now bring there vehicles here for service. This is the only shop I truly trust and look forward working with in the future. They are always looking out for there customers.

Would've liked better pricing on repairs, but overall great service and friendly people. Thankfully it's better than many mechanics with honesty and pricing, but still could be a little more affordable. A big positive is that there's always availability for your car to be looked at the same day or the next day.

I've been coming to Brownie's for repairs to my vehicle for many years now. Mike, Matt and their team are great at what they do. They give you the repairs you need to get back on the road and they charge a fair price for it. They don't screw around, they don't play games with you, and they run a fair and honest business. I recommend them to anyone who needs their vehicle worked on because they've shown me over the years they are worthy of trust.

I chatted with Matt on Tuesday; made a tentative appointment for oil & filter change for 2 days later (Thursday). I dropped off vehicle at lunch time, got an estimate; Matt called that it's ready to rock and roll. I paid and went home. Highly recommend the common sense approach to business. Win-Win.

I ALMOST hate to give such a great review because TOO MANY folks will come! HAHA! But we LOVE Brownies...always so fair in their pricing, and they explain things in layman's terms. We have been going there for years...they've fixed everything...from our newer cars, to our 30+ year old Chevy S10. HIGHLY recommend.

I don't often write reviews but my experience here was so good I needed to: I was experiencing a weird noise in my car. Alarmed, I made an appointment and brought my car into Brownie's the next morning thinking it was maybe a suspension issue. The staff at Brownie's was super professional, friendly, and kind.They thoroughly inspected and lifted my vehicle (twice!!) just to make sure everything was working properly. We think it wound up being an issue with my tires that was causing the noise since everything in my suspension and breaks look great. But anyway, all that to say, I am DELIGHTED with my experience and will absolutely pass along their information to any friend or family member that is experiencing car trouble. As a female that is extremely ignorant to anything car related, it would be easy to take advantage of my limited knowledge and up-charge me. Brownie's did not though. They were respectful, honest, and hardly charged me anything for all the time they put into my issue. I am so delighted and thankful. They even went the extra mile to tighten all my lug nuts for free. Do not hesitate to bring your vehicle here!!

We have had all 3 vehicles serviced at Brownies. Most recent a flat tire needed plugged on Christmas Eve and they fixed it right away. They are very accommodating and timely. Will continue to use them!

I've known Mike for a long time. Brownie's fix what needs to be fixed and doesn't try to up sale you. He and his son Matthew are honest and you vehicle is in good hands with them. I highly recommend them.

After calling around to several places to have a MD MD inspection and being told no one could fit me in for a week, Brownies fit me in the same day. They noticed I had no ride and was waiting and finished asap so I could be on the way. Super courteous and a family business...that was a week ago. Today I need a tire repaired and you know where I came to support this reliable family business. Highly recommend.

Excellent service always. I trust them completely. I have taken things there swearing I needed a replaced part and they looked it over and fixed what needed to be fixed without replacing something unnecessarily. They’re honest and direct with you. Highly recommend.

It feels so good to find an honest repair shop! Today I took my vehicle to Brownies because I bought a new battery and was told that it needed a new alternator. I also asked them to check the brakes because I thought I heard them scraping. A few hours later, I get a call and am told that my alternator is not bad and my brakes are still good. Long story short, I was expecting a bill around $500-$700, but was only charged @ $130, for the post ends and connections that were replaced.

I have taken our vehicles to get fixed or looked at for an estimate. Matt has been honest and given me better pricing for repairs than most places. These folks here are trustworthy and definitely not like other places. As soon you walk in, they make you feel like part of the Brownie's family. I will continue to take my vehicles here for repairs and continue to recommend Brownie's whenever I can. Thank you all for what you do and for the AWESOME customer service.

Took my Son's '01 Jeep in for a radiator repair. Received excellent service, and very fair pricing. They went above and beyond with additional services including flushing the heater core so that My Son who's in High School "wouldn't have to endure too much cold this winter" for free. Knowledgeable, Courteous, Professional .... We'll be taking all of our vehicles there in the future.

This place is an absolute joke. My fiancee brought her car here and Brownies diagnosed and fixed what they claimed the issue was. Charged my fiancee only for us to drive away and the issue to still persist. Took the car for a second and lo and behold, Brownies failed to diagnose bad shocks and a wheel bearing that was in terrible shape. Glad we spent 60 bucks for absolutely nothing. Look elsewhere, take your car to Precision Tune Auto where the mechanics can actually diagnose a critical issue properly. Glad we got a second opinion. It seems like the people in the 5 star reviews went to a completely different mechanic. In fact, when I took my personal vehicle here I had a good experience a few months back. Whatever has happened since then has left an incredibly negative impact on my views on this shop and I will not be returning, unfortunately.

Been selecting Brownie's since transplanting in this area in 2003. Mike and the crew are ALWAYS open and honest. You may not like the answer but you will know it's the truth. They have taken care of all of my vehicles because know that they will do the job correctly and stand behind their work! Quality work at fair prices with INTEGRITY (imagine that)! It's also nice to see that these values are being exhibited by the next generation as well. As long as they do business like this, Brownie's Auto Repair will ALWAYS be my first choice for auto service.
