The paint match is simply awful. I cannot believe this was Top Gun's finished product. They "matched the car's original color,” as Top Gun’s representative told me. Well, the car was repainted a couple years back and THAT is the color Top Gun should have matched. Not the color it was painted in 2009! I mean can you really believe that? I will not be recommending Top Gun to anyone.

After hitting a deer, I brought my car to Top Gun for repairs, and overall I had a positive experience. They had my car for about two months, which was no fault of their own—my vehicle has some custom parts and we had to wait on those. They were upfront and transparent about the additional time needed to source everything and do the work properly. Throughout the process, the team communicated well and handled what could have been a stressful situation in a professional and reassuring way. When I picked up the car, I noticed a minor issue with my bumper and door alignment. I pointed it out right away, and they promptly took care of it without hesitation, making sure everything was corrected. The final result looks great, being experienced in shop work myself nothing is going to look perfect or like its strait from the factory but it’s clear they care about standing behind their work and making things right. I would definitely recommend Top Gun to anyone needing quality repair work, especially after an accident. Lisa at the front desk amazing and her positive attitude is contagious! Shes a delight! Michael P who was my adjuster was helpful, responsive, and easy to work with.

**Update** Regional manager contacted us and is actively trying to make things right. Hopefully this experience serves as a learning opportunity and leads to improved customer service for future customers. I do appreciate them reaching out and taking responsibility. Again Lisa at the front is awesome and deserves a raise and some extra PTO My car was brought to their shop within 24 hours of my accident on December 16. It is now January 14, and the lack of communication and professionalism has been unbelievable. I understood delays due to the holidays, but not over a month with almost no updates. The tech, whatever his job title is there who was handling the estimate, initially said the car was fixable and that parts needed to be ordered. Weeks went by with no communication. I called multiple times requesting a manager—at least four times—with no return calls. At one point, the tech even admitted he was too busy and hadn’t looked at my vehicle for a final estimate yet. On January 13, with my rental about to run out, I called asking them to contact insurance for an extension. No one called back. The next day, I followed up and was told they “couldn’t get ahold of my insurance” (which was not true) and that the manager would not cover the rental. This was extremely frustrating considering they had my car for a month and were still “waiting on parts” because the correct ones hadn’t been ordered. After I contacted my insurance directly, State Farm (Chris Lucas is fantastic to work with) stepped in. Suddenly, a new estimate appeared in the portal, and my vehicle was declared a total loss. It took this shop over a month to determine that. What makes this worse is that two weeks earlier, the tech told me the front end was completed and just needed paint. When I went to retrieve personal items after learning it was a total loss, no repairs had been done at all. The car looked exactly the same as when it was dropped off by the tow truck. The customer service was awful, communication was nonexistent, and I would never trust this shop to do major repairs. The only positive experience was the Lisa at the front desk—she was always kind and helpful. Credit where it’s due.

While they were very pleasant, I discovered they charged me for work that was not performed. When I requested a refund, they told me their Corporate office (Collision Right) would handle it. Almost two months later and I have no refund and have not heard a word from the corporate office. Initially, I thought this was an honest mistake. Now, I feel very differently, and I hope someone else learns from my experience. I cannot recommend this company.

Shop promises they will try and resolve issues in the reply section of google but when you try and actually reach out to them they never call back or address the concern. Avoid this shop at all costs, they lack transparency and end it up costing me an additional 4-5k in work out of my own pocket on my Lexus RCF and even Lexus told me this shop is incompetent. They will reply to this post telling me to call them but they don’t care and they won’t call back. They try and cover this by posting fake reviews.

Incredibly disappointed by work performed at Top Gun. I chose this shop as it was one of Geico’s preferred shop (Xpress) I usually look at the reviews and make a decision based on an overall picture but man was I wrong with this shop. After getting into an incident, I had my car towed here and at first everything seemed fine but as my car sat at the shop due delays in parts which I understand was out of their control, I started getting frustrated and lack of transparency became obvious as I kept pushing for a date of when I was going to get my car back. My car was returned to me, without informing me that the window button was not working along with my lcd screen which was not even part of the reason as to why I brought my car into the shop. My TPMS sensors were also not working. In essence, this shop managed to introduced issues that were all electronic related and failed to diagnose them and are now having me deal with insurance to get those issues resolved with the Lexus dealership. They did repair all the physical damage but along the way they don’t have qualify people to handle electronic issues so please BEWARE as they are now pushing these issues on to me to handle with insurance and I may be out of thousands due to their incompetence.

Unfortunately my vehicle was vandalized. Thankfully, my insurance recommended Top Gun. The team was professional, friendly, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. The quality of their work is outstanding and my car looks brand new again! They even finished working on my vehicle sooner than expected.

Top Gun was an amazing experience for me, from the great customer service, quotes, and updates I always felt like I was in good hands. My car was slated to be done in just a couple weeks and I got it back in just one! If you have Geico insurance I highly recommend using Top Gun they really take care of you and put your mind at ease, they also detailed my car! It was not clean and I was not taking care of it so when I got back in it felt so so good, thank you so much guys!

UPDATE: still fighting to get my car to stop leaking water and not look like it’s been wrecked. Top Gun made mistakes that I knew about and was too tired to try to deal with, as well as ignored other problems caused by the wreck. Then I found out my car was leaking water into the trunk after this repair and nobody would call me back to get the car fixed. When insurance stepped in, Top Gun inspected my car as I waited, said I needed new tail lamp gaskets. I dropped my car off at a later date for a week, they said it was fixed. My car was given back to me filthy, but regardless, it still leaked water horribly. Insurance sent me to another body shop to clean up their mess and it’s been quite a process. They found that my cars tail light gaskets were completely missing! The only repair Top Gun claimed to have made to fix my water leak over the course of leaving my car with them a week! I’d absolutely never recommend anyone use this shop. I’m approaching a year now in dealing with the headaches of their poor quality repairs and getting them properly fixed. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Minor rear end collision, needed a new bumper cover. Accident June 12th…finally fixed August 21st. I chose Top Gun due to having used them with no problems back in 2018 and their reputation. I was informed the paint and body men were the same, which gave me confidence in getting my car repaired there again. I waited (a week or so) for an estimate, and waited (weeks) to schedule the work…I didn’t expect there would be such a wait, but given my experience and their reputation I went ahead and waited that week and then few weeks to get my car fixed. First bumper cover went on, took a week from drop off to pick up. Upon pick up, I wasn’t happy with the bumper finish and fit (not Top Gun’s fault). Aftermarket bumper, poor fit and rough edges. I complained right away, they took pictures and were going to let insurance know my concerns. Went back to my car to drive home and sat down, realized my windshield has a 12-16” crack in it that wasn’t there before. They tried to deny that it could’ve happened there, tried to look at their pictures of my previous damage (no damage), tried to pull up notes they took pertaining to the damage (they couldn’t find any). It is worth noting that they write repair information right on your windshield at the time of drop off, right after a full walk around to inspect for other damage on your car. They would have seen my windshield cracked as they leaned over my car and wrote on it and/or when we did a full walk around. They would never admit fault or that it happened in their care for my car, would never give me an answer as to if they’d fix it. This caused lots of stress and a long back and forth between them, insurance, me (couple weeks). Drop my car back off for another bumper, and the shop to “check out my windshield” and see what the managers will do about it. No communication until I call a week later to see what’s going on, they say they’re just waiting on the glass guy (they’re fixing it, good on them) and then to see if my car is ok (forward cameras may need calibration etc). When I come to pick it up, I quickly inspect and see the bumper cover isn’t installed fully, and the taillights weren’t installed properly at all. I took the rental back so they could figure out how to put my car back together. I called the next day (around noon) to check the status. It was done but nobody had a chance to call me. I show back up and find the tail lights still aren’t fully/properly installed, and there are now chips in the paint in my quarter panels where my tail lights go into. I leave it another day again. They touched up the paint chips (literal touch up, no better than I could’ve done myself) and fixed the tail light installation finally. It’s adequately fixed now. Emily and Jordan have been pleasant through the whole experience and probably the only reason I wouldn’t rate this 1 star. Someone else (who is no longer there) was not very happy to help me further than the initial 1st bumper replacement.

I had work done here due to my son opening my car door while backing up. They had my vehicle less than 2 weeks & replaced the passenger back door and the window switch. Emily & Julissa stayed in contact with me the entire time. I was nervous at first about using this shop because I'd never needed body work done on a vehicle & had just bought the car, 2 weeks prior to the accident. I'm extremely happy I went with them! I want to personally extend a thank you to Emily, Julissa & their boss. You have helped me in more ways than one & I can't say how much I appreciate you. Thank you all

It's never a good time to be rear-ended and my first thought was having to deal with the inconvenience and stress of getting my car repaired. However, Top Gun Collision made the process as painless as possible. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Emily and she immediately took charge. My anxiety levels vanished as Emily dealt with the insurance company and setting up my car rental. She was helpful, friendly, and very professional. The damage to my car was then assessed by Sterling, who was extremely knowledgeable and respectful of my needs. He walked me through the repair process and any parts that needed to be ordered. Sterling stayed in touch, by text, throughout the entire process and kept me updated on every step. Overall, excellent customer service and the work was exceptional. If I ever need repair work done again, I will definitely return to Top Gun Collision.

This experience was one of the best I’ve had dealing with a repair shop. Our car was sideswiped in a hit and run while parked on our street in front of our house. Everything went smoothly. Great communication throughout the process and the car was returned with a full detail cleaning inside and out.

I have a sport model jeep JK that came with the black textured top and textured fender flares. Took awhile to find the right body shop to do the work since in order to get the oem style paint, the prep work needs to be done right. Bought paintable fender flares and they painted everything to the body! I am blown away by the results. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the work. Will be coming back for other paint work needed!
