We went expecting the usual run around and hassle of a car sales office and got the complete opposite. From our sales person Gabriel to the office manager and the finance person, we were treated with open arms a kindness. At every stop and question, they were patient and helpful and turned our experience to one of the best we have had in getting a car. I would 100% recommend them when looking for a used car!
Always a good experience when dealing with Darcars Frederick. Min Shain was very helpful, and patient as we test drove multiple cars. He even drove 2 hours to deliver the vehicle we really wanted. Area manager Eric was equally helpful with all our requests. We have bought many vehicles from Darcars Frederick, and have had A plus customer service! Keep up the good work team!
Min and the sales team did an excellent job accommodating us when buying a car. He did a great job communicating quickly and effectively in setting up a time to meet and test drive cars. He also spent lots of ton talking with my wife and I about life while we were waiting for paperwork and other things to come through. All in all a great experience buying here!
Unfortunately i have to leave a low star review due to the inspection of a used vehicle. Let me say first my sales guy was great, the finance guy was great and the whole process was easy and streamlined.
That being said...after I buy any used car I do all the maintenance myself to make sure everything is done. While doing a more in depth look around greasing zirk fittings, brake line flush, transfer case fluid change etc. I noted that the bushings on the driver's side of the sway bar link were worn to almost nothing. Closer inspection showed the passenger side sway bar link was completely broken.
I called Darcars used cars to see if they would fix the issue, i was told someone would call me, 3 days later no call and i just ended up doing the repair myself.
This is a pretty big issue that should have failed MD State inspection... it makes me wonder what else they over looked.
After such an easy process i was disappointed that they wouldn't make the purchase right.
I would AVOID buying from the used side unless you know exactly what you are looking for.
I will also be filing a complaint with Maryland State Police.
Do not buy used from here without a pre purchase personal inspection.
Min was amazing help and amazing to work with. There was a car in Silver Spring that he was able to get to Frederick for me and help me with my purchase. He was very knowledgeable about the car and all the services they provide. I really appreciate his help and will be coming back when I need another vehicle.

Ransom Jackson is a FANTASTIC salesman but an even more wonderful human being. He made it possible for my parents to test drive a gently used Toyota Highlander. We had a pleasure experience buying our first minivan at this location. We went on a Friday so things were calm and quiet. Ransom is the most responsive sale rep i have worked with. He did his homework on the car and answered most of my questions. He was why we bought the car here.

I wish I had read these reviews before allowing my elderly mother get scanned by this place on Friday. Don't get service done here. Go anywhere else. My mom got a coupon in the mail for a 40 dollar oil change. Now she told me they kept telling her about other things that were wrong with the car which has 45,000 miles on it and was in perfectly fine condition. All she wanted was an oil change. Than after refusing some of the other recommendations they told her the battery was suddenly low and she told me when she tried to leave the car suddenly wasn't working. She felt trapped and agreed to get a new battery for 250 bucks. This was a total scam as they clearly messed with the battery too try to take advantage of a 70 year old asian lady in Frederick who has lived there for 40 years. I'm going to be looking into the matter with the corporate offices of Toyota.
I cant speak highly enough of this dealership! They have a great selection of cars and even better staff that make you feel like family. I personally worked with the GM Gio and Salesman Ransom. Ransom is very knowledgeable of the cars and can answer any questions you may have. They even let me test drive cars with my son's car seat in there to see if it fit. I bought a car here last week and I had a great experience. Everyone from the manager to the salesman was super nice. Jonathan was very helpful with the whole process and made me feel comfortable while making a decision. I also appreciate the manager for working with me to secure a price that would work for me. Kelly from the finance department was also so sweet and broke down everything clearly and left all my questions answered. I highly recommend this dealership if you plan to buy a car, they are amazing and I would definitely drive 2 hours again to receive the amazing customer service they provide.
