He showed us the used Tacoma and then the new Tacoma in red. After 5-10 minutes we decide on the new 2025 Tacoma. I'm glad I was able to work with him. Unfortunately i have to leave a low star review due to the inspection of a used vehicle. Let me say first my sales guy was great, the finance guy was great and the whole process was easy and streamlined. That being said...after I buy any used car I do all the maintenance myself to make sure everything is done. While doing a more in depth look around greasing zirk fittings, brake line flush, transfer case fluid change etc. I noted that the bushings on the driver's side of the sway bar link were worn to almost nothing. Closer inspection showed the passenger side sway bar link was completely broken. I called Darcars used cars to see if they would fix the issue, i was told someone would call me, 3 days later no call and i just ended up doing the repair myself. This is a pretty big issue that should have failed MD State inspection... it makes me wonder what else they over looked. After such an easy process i was disappointed that they wouldn't make the purchase right. I would AVOID buying from the used side unless you know exactly what you are looking for. I will also be filing a complaint with Maryland State Police. Do not buy used from here without a pre purchase personal inspection. ***UPDATE*** the customer service reached out and asked for receipts for the repairs. Then they went ghost mode on me. They still have not provided me with my hard tags either. This is probably one of the worst dealerships I have ever delt with. Really disappointed and will never use them again. BUYERS BEWARE

This review is for the Service Center: If you want a negative experience with hostile, unwelcoming, and racist staff then this place is it. I had a service appointment at 1:00pm, I drove through the service drive and waited for someone to come out and greet me as is usually done at the Buckeystown location. No one came out to greet me so I came inside and told by salesperson that I needed to go back around the service area to wait at the stop sign because staff was out at lunch. I drive back around as I was requested and wait at the stop sign again. I proceed to wait another ten minutes without anyone acknowledging me. I finally see service man in a vehicle drive into the garage and decide to follow him to check in my car for service. Then a White older lady who looks upset yells, "Ma'me you can't go in there you have to go back and park the car at the stop sign for someone to scan your vehicle." I tell her I have been sitting at the stop sign and no one has come out to acknowledge or check me in and that my appointment was at one. She doesn't apologize or say anything just ignores me and walks inside. I can see her walk inside upset talking to a tall White man -it appeared she was upset as I can see her shaking her head and back forth as she's speaking with him. He proceeds to walk outside and says' "So are you ready to come inside now!" No greeting, no apology for the wait, or explanation of their check in process. I then respond, "is this how you greet customers?" He then says, "I'm not doing this!" and walks away. I have bought several cars throughout my life and never had a horrible experience, especially from a major car company. I will never recommend Toyota dealer and service to anyone.
I came to DARCARS looking for a reliable used vehicle, particularly a Subaru. To my surprise, I had my eyes set on the only Subaru on the lot. I am extremely lucky and fortunate to have had such an amazing first car-buying experience, and it is all thanks to the wonderful Min Shain! I had been searching for a car to buy and knew I wanted a RAV4. When I came across the listing for a used 2025 I had called to make sure it was still available before driving to the dealership. Min had answered the phone, scheduled an appointment for me to test drive and had the car pulled up to the front all within the hour! After knowing this was the car for me he made the purchasing process seem very smooth and not pushy. TLDR: My tire(s) had to be replaced 3 months after driving off the lot.
I purchased a used car from DARCARS Frederick in July 2025. At the time of sale, the dealership told me the car had been aligned. Since then, I’ve only driven about 4,000 miles, yet one of the tire’s outer shoulder is completely bald. There is zero tread left.
Given the low mileage and the alignment being done, this rapid and uneven tire wear is highly concerning and suggests the tire was likely already worn or the tire alignment was not properly handled. I have contacted the dealership to address the issue, but wanted to share my experience so others are aware.

From our sales person Gabriel to the office manager and the finance person, we were treated with open arms a kindness.
