Used Safe Tow via my Erie policy for my SUV that decided to completely brick itself inside my garage (suspecting security system malfunction). I didn’t catch the guy’s name but he was great, very friendly and got here quickly. Very good experience for what has been a very frustrating day.
My insurance requested a tow from them since I was having issues with my battery holding a charge and allowing me to drive. The driver arrived and offered to take a look before towing me to the auto shop. He was able to not only get my car running but advised me to let it run for a bit before driving which helped me get the car to the shop and save on a full diagnostic vs electrical diagnostic. Made my whole weekend.
Had a very good experience with Carl’s help on a very busy day. Once he got to me he had my car loaded in around 5 minutes on his flat bed and on the road to my shop.
Robert was amazing. He arrived before the quote time and was very professional. I had a great experience and will highly recommend him if you need a quick and smooth tow. He definitely made my stressful situation a lot easier.
Do not call Safe tow of Maryland I waited for them. They said they were here they never showed up. I called the number that was on the record. No one answered the phone and the mailbox was full so I couldn’t leave a message this tow companies total trash. The name of it should be lying tow of Maryland. I waited over two hours when it said the tow truck was here. It was never here. It was never in the area. This tow truck company should be put out of business.
Safe Tow of MD offered to repair my car in their facility. The repair did not fix the problem. The radiator which should have been flushed ( per owner - Butch ) was not done, in spite of charging for it. Receptionist was mainly concerned about getting paid. Beware : this company takes advantage of motorists stranded on the road, offers repair and provides with substandard quality.
I had a great experience with this company in every aspect. My car started acting up on the highway and I could no longer safely drive it. USAA selected this company, otherwise I would not have known to call them. I did not have to wait too long for the tow truck to come, and after announcing my challenge in finding an auto shop that had availability to get my car in and looked at that same day, the tow driver informed me they also had an auto repair shop with a slower schedule that day. The shop was about 15 miles from my house, so I was worried about being able to come pick it up when done, however they offered a free towed return of my car directly to my door when done. That offer can't be beat. My car was towed to their shop, and I received several phone calls from the mechanic throughout the day giving me updates on what was wrong with my car, how they were fixing it, etc. My car was fixed the same day and towed back to my house, as promised. I encountered two different tow drivers between the first pick-up and drop off, and both were professional and courteous. The mechanic (Bob, I think his name was?) was also professional and knowledgeable. What started off as a rough morning ended up being a great experience all around and I would highly recommend this company! Thanks for the wonderful costumer service!
Sat in the middle of the median for 2 hours! The tow truck rode right me! I called Erie, they said safe tow was too busy, they did not call and tell me, they called Curtis towing, he was here in 15 minutes! Do not use this company’
My truck on June 10 was involved in an accident And I contacted my insurance company Erie. Erie sent them out I informed them and Erie
That my vehicle is to be brought immediately to Academy ford. SafeTow instead bring the vehicle to their shop without Notification where me and my claim adjuster was confused. My truck arrive there later that following evening and behold the inside of my truck my dash was bothered and my new iPhone in the box was missing. When I call and talk to them they Say they are just a Broker and refuse to give me any info and hang up on me.
Safe Tow was called through roadside assistance. Spoke to driver on the phone. Afterwards, looked at my status and it said that the company cancelled. No phone call or update. This company sucks.
This towing company is the worst. They do not answer the phone. And they never picked my car up. I had to end up getting another tow company hours after. Alex was the persons name. UNPROFESSIONAL!!
0 stars. learn to be patient and understanding as you are not the only tow company who delivers non drivable vehicles. If you don't like the location or lot ask why the lot is the way it is. Next time refuse the ticket and let another tow company move the vehicle.
I just had the worst experience with Blaze Towing. My front tire broke off of my van so I called AAA to get a tow and they sent Blaze Towing and they said that the van was to low to the ground to get there equipment under to left it. So I suggested for them to use my 2 ton floor Jack to lift the side of the van that lost the tire back up to the proper height so they'd be able to lift it. And the Blaze driver's response was "that's not my job to do that". Than he had his boss from Blaze Towing call me and tell me that AAA didn't fill out the paperwork correctly, so the only way he could take me a quarter mile around the corner is if I paid Blaze Towing $300 extra ontop of what AAA was already paying them which of course I didn't do an I couldn't do even if I would've wanted to.
But likely when I called back to AAA they called SafeTow on Fort Smallwood rd. an they were there in 25 minutes, yes I said they because they sent two different types of trucks an three people just to make sure they were able to get the job done the best way they could. Especially knowing how much of a bad day I had already had they seemed to want to make it as easy as possible. They helped me into my wheelchair they blocked the incoming traffic so my mother an I were able to get safely on the sidewalk which is a lot more than what Blaze Towing did the only thing Blaze Towing did was try to rip me off for $300 extra dollars and than after making me weight 3 hours for them to even show up they just left us in the middle of the road without a care in the world about me they did care that I was running out of oxygen in my tank but SafeTow cared so I just wanted to say thank you to SafeTow on Fort Smallwood Rd. in Pasadena Maryland.
Tow truck driver came out to tow my work van abd said the claim was on a different vehicle. I had proof that it was not and sent it to him, I'm pretty sure he did not want to tow our vehicle because it was raining. He literally told me he wasn't towing our vehicle because I was trying to explain to him that it the claim was on the correct vehicle and he continued to argue with me. I'm the one with a broken down vehicle on the side of the road and he was so rude and unprofessional I will never use this company.
The 1st tow truck driver called and asked for a key. I gave the key too the driver and the driver had a second tow truck to come out too tow it because he was too lazy. So the second driver came out and did not receive the key from the 1st driver.. now this company will not answer my calls, they also put in their paper work their was no key.. do not trust or use this tow company
If I could give 0 stars I would, placed a call for roadside assistance through Nationwide, they accepted the tow at 2:26 pm, after waiting for 2.5 hours with no update from the company I decided to call. No one answered the call, went to voicemail with a full voicemail box. I then proceeded to call Nationwide who was able to speak with Jakie who informed the representative that the driver had been stuck in traffic for the past two hours.
While I was on the phone with Nationwide the driver finally shows up. When I questioned what took so long and why no update the driver simplest stated it wasn’t his problem. Then proceed to walk away and get back in his truck and provided NO ASSISTANCE. When I called the office, the representative simply stated they never received the information on the vehicle and he had to do a police hold so he was not able to assist.
This is the worst excuse of a business and don’t have a shred of customer service in their bones. Do yourself a favor and don’t do business with them.
Hit a pothole and blew out a tire 25 miles from home. These guys were contracted through insurance to drop off my car at a tire shop. Brandon was careful loading my low clearance car and gave me a lift. Friendly and professional.
I was stranded at a gas station for several of hours with a dead phone and nowhere to go, when all of a sudden someone from this company had pulled up since they were contacted by my insurance company. I was greeted by an extremely rude guy who made me feel uncomfortable. I had greeted him and he just ignored me. That wasn’t even the issue. He told me I had to find my own ride to wherever my car was being towed because he wasn’t allowed to have people ride with him in his huge tow truck which was a lie!
We had an amazing experience with this company. My car broke down on Ritchie Hwy and they literally showed up within 30 minutes, faster than the original time we were told. Polite and helpful.

It's like 90ﾟ outside I have a car issue I wait for an hour and they don't show up. I was already having a bad day and waiting for someone did never shows up makes it a lot worse
Just to up date my review. The driver that came to get me was helpful and did a good job. A phone call would have been very helpful.
Loved it, they really helped us in getting our vehicle back operational while we were traveling to get back home. Break down was on the weekend and they still too time to help us. Awesome company and the people were great as well.
My insurance company had these guys tow my car on Sunday after I had an accident, at this time my insurance company, my mother, and I have been trying to contact them for 48 hours. Not only have I not been able to speak to a single person but their voicemail box is full so I can't leave a message there AND when I try to use their website to contact them it won't let me send the message because I haven't filled out all the "required fields". Not only did I fill out all the required lines, I even filled out the optional ones. I recommend no one use this company ever.
