Other day I cam one hour early from my appointment time and these loaders didn’t want to load me and kept loading others. I asked them why. They said that I was early. I had to wait 2 hours. Today I came at my appointment time. But today is different rules. Today each loader chooses who they load. Don’t matter what’s your appointment schedule. These latino guy has just showed up and that latino lady started to load him. And other guy showed up second ago and he is being loaded too. I don’t understand. Do we have to pay or something???? What’s going on here.

Very helpful. I've always had good customer service here unlike some of the other copart yards.

Excellent experience from start to finish! The staff was incredibly professional, courteous, and welcoming. The gentleman at the front desk went above and beyond—he was not only helpful but also made the entire process smooth and hassle-free. I stopped by to retrieve some personal belongings from my vehicle, and I was impressed by how organized and accommodating they were. It’s always refreshing to be treated with kindness and respect. Thank you, Copart.

Vandalized my car and the general manager Bryce took no accountability. Avoid having this company take your car by any means!

I have been a loyal buyer of many cars from Copart, but this recent experience has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. Since the beginning of November, I’ve been trying to resolve an issue with a missing car title. Despite sending multiple emails, including to General Manager Bryce Mitchell, I have received no response. Copart has failed to comply with their arbitration policy and refuses to respond to my requests to take the car back after they lost the title. It’s clear that nobody is taking responsibility or doing anything to resolve this matter. As a result, I will be dropping the car off at my local Copart location and billing them for transport to Florida and back to the nearest lot. Additionally, I am now considering taking legal action to address their failure to resolve this issue. This lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism is completely unacceptable, especially from a company I have done significant business with over the years.

Disrespectful, incompetent company. I find it astounding that even a simple response to a question warrants a sarcastic, snide comment. Especially when you have been calling the wrong phone number and failed to locate my vehicle. If you can avoid dealing with CoPart, do so.

Copart has the worse costumer service... every time I call always answers someone with a bad actitud, advise for these bad mood people, search another job and stop giving your frustration to costumers, we call because we need help, no because we want to deal with your problems, so bad experience calling to this yard ... is so frustrating and after 5 days calling they haven't solve my problem yet... such a disgusting experience...

They mis-placed my license plates when they were repairing my car after it was stolen. When I was able to find out that they lost my plates, they told me that I need to call my adjuster because they were going to charge my insurance company to mail them if I didn’t want to drive two hours to get my plates. Absolutely abhorrent service and completely predatory.

Before I drove I was call the customer services and they didn't let me go to see the vehicles. They told me to come back tomorrow and I drove two hours to check the vehicle before the auction and they didn't let me go inside to see it just because they didn't want to. I called in the morning to make sure I could go in and now they are telling me I can't. Im a premier member.

Very poor service, I’m on my third day trying to get a truck picked up cause they have to get a wrecker in to move another small pickup in front of mine when all they’d have to do is pick it up with there forklifts but refuse to do so….. and then there’s no guarantee that they’ll even touch mine because they say they don’t move pickups even though I have bought trucks from other locations and they’ve loaded them NP!!

I do not recommend buying a car from this location. I bought a run&drive car there. and a Copart employee damaged the oil pan and destroyed the engine. no sense of responsibility for the damage caused.

Theft of items from my vehicle. Stay away from this company as my items that were in it were stolen. I have reached out several times to their GM however they do not answer. Over $900 worth of items that I can confirm was in my vehicle when they took possession of it. Be leary with this company. I have tried to resolve this with no such luck.

I came to pick up personal items from my car and when I got there everything had been thrown in the trunk but they managed to steal my unopened dash camera and all my air fresheners out of my car! It’s tacky how their company violated me when I was already low by losing my car and being in accident and now I have items stolen from me??? DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THE WALDORF LOCATION! Staff is rude and very unprofessional and a bunch of thief's!

Bidding online from Salt Lake City, UT, I accidentally put over 20 grand on a van from here because the run-list shifted while I looked at my notes and it was a similar looking white van. So the auto-bidder bought it for me by bidding one increment higher than the second highest bidder. I called within a minute or two of the mistake to ask if they could give it to the second highest bidder or simply correct the mistake. The receptionist on the phone was nice enough. She gave me an email to someone she hoped could help me. That guy said he did not have the authority and gave me another email to a guy who would not respond even after multiple attempts. We paid nearly $2000 to relist the vehicle. Who at CoPart is incompetent enough that it takes $2000 to list a vehicle? And what happened to offering the van back to the second highest bidder? He lost it because he was out bid by one increment. Why wouldn't he gladly take it if he was called back and offered? I believe there was no second-highest bidder. I believe CoPart is illegally submitting bids to get the prices higher for more profits. They will charge extra fees, late charges, storage fees, gate fees, online bid fees, pre-bid fees, every possible chance they get. I need to add that about a year earlier I bought a 2015 Nissan Altima from the Salt Lake location. I paid for the car and got the title. when I sent my transporter to pick it up, CoPart had LOST the car. They searched for the car for about TWO MONTHS and could not deliver it. They finally refunded my money after that time. I did not pursue late fees or interest for the time CoPart had both my money and my car. Why? Because we're all people and we can help accommodate mistakes when they arise with either party. Right? Well it turns out that I am capable of doing that for CoPart, but CoPart is NOT willing to return the favor. After dealing with their unaccommodating, intolerant attitude, I'm taking my quarter-million dollar a year business to IAA. Buying from CoPart these past 5 years has been multiple repeats of the worst buying experiences of my life. I've dealt with about 10 different auction houses regularly and nothing compares to the twisted, biased, unreasonably one-sided policies of CoPart. I plainly see GREED is the driving force. It's oozing out of every ugly policy they continue to send down from corporate.

They are my best copart the 2 guys on customer desk are excellent always ready to listen to your concerns. I have never had any issues nor delay anytime I go there. I travel long hour just to make sure I get quick service. I love their services

Great deals. Customer service could be better. The app didn't work for me to make an appointment. They still wanted me to go back outside to make an appointment even though I was the only one there. The appointment process when I did get it to work on the third time was cumbersome and asked for a lot of info. Kind of beyond frustrating. Their policy for payments on pickup is kind of silly. Only can pay $400 by cash a day....and you have to have it approved to pay by card which for some reason for us we couldn't get it to work. Had to go back off site and get a money order. Still waiting here for the car even though there isn't anyone in front of me and the staff is hanging out chatting in their rigs.

To be able to take your car out, You must come from 8 to 4.30pm, and You need to scan a code to put yourself on the queue. You can still Pay for the car before 5pm But You Will remove it until next day. So please try to come earrly!

What a scheme. Our company bought a vehicle from a Copart employee that got it out of their lot without anyone noticing at all. How interesting. Such a big company with a serious reputation, had a Tahoe that is big as an elephant leave their lot without activating the alarm, not detected by cameras and security. The worse thing of it is that they dont notice for 2 months that 2017 Tahoe is missing. One of their expensive vehicles. If this is not an inside job then what is it. We had the car Just enough for us to register the vehicle and get it out on a road. They report the vehicle stolen after 2 months and there you go. We had to return the car to a closest police station. While the criminal investigation is going on against the former employee and other nn currant employees for collaboration, Copart stays silent denying involvement. Off course we are on going with legal actions against Copart but time and funds wasted will never be able to be settled. Considering informing ABC network and their investigation team. They love stories like this. Im gonna let this sink in. Horror stories with scheme network starting from the top of their food chain.

Beware of these people. They have employees with certain access within the company to sell information and assets. We bought a vehicle that was from their lot. Clean title keys in hand. To have them conveniently after a month and a half report the vehicle stolen. Apparently one of their employees took the vehicle out of their lot with keys and title in hand and sold it to us. They are aware of the situation but unwilling to cooperate. Corporate security manager is informed but denies the inside job. Ongoing investigation. Suspect is identified. Possible multiple people involved. Will have un update soon. What a shame for a company of this magnitude to allow themselves such a publicity. Copart doesn’t care about their clients or anyone in that sense.

My insurance company works with this company, my car was totaled. Copart called me immediately asked to pick up my car. They set a date and never showed up. Said they would come the next day and never showed. I called customer service they were no help and didn’t give me any information. They representative was very rude and snappy in the phone. Total disappointment!

I HAD THE WORSE EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD !!! I never do google reviews but I AM LIVID !! My fiancé & I called and set up a pick up date for them to come get a car that we had bought , for Wednesday at 8-12 with copart in Waldorf MD . We lived 2 1/2 hours from where the car was located and got up early and drove down and was at the location at 8 . We called at 8:25 to confirm that we were still scheduled to have them come pick up the car and she said that we were and that the driver of the truck would call up and hour before he would be there . So it was 12:30-12:45 and we called again to see when he would be down to get the car still since we haven’t heard anything , so the dispatcher told us yes that they had a truck break down and that he had extra loads to get and that he called us to inform us but we got no call and turns out they had the wrong number for us (mind you we checked the application we filled out and we put the right number so the error was on their part) so I gave them my number as well to make sure their was no more confusion , she told us that they wouldn’t be able to get to us until 3-4 . Meanwhile we have been literally sitting in the car ALL this time so we’re annoyed at this point but we still sitting there waiting so we don’t have to drive all this way for nothing . So 3:30 rolls around and we call back (because the driver still hasn’t called and he’s supposed to call an hour before he is to come) and they are starting to get annoyed with us calling but we ask if he is still coming and she tells us he is for sure coming and that she gonna call him and have him call us to see when he will be down , never heard anything from the driver . So we call AGAIN at 4:45 (because the office closes at 5:00 and the driver still hasn’t called us so we had no way to contact anyone after the office closes) and the dispatcher is being so sarcastic at this point because we had been calling all day and telling us that he is still coming . She she puts us on hold while she calls him and tells us that he is dropping a load then he is coming to us and he will be there within the hour . By the way we are STILL SITTING IN A CAR !!! So as I tell my fiancé let’s go because I’d had enough but they finally show up as we’re about to leave at 6:35 !!!!!! Never even got a call from the driver at all . I HAD BEEN SITTING IN THE CAR FOR 12 HOURS (because of the 2 1/2 hour drive down) BY THE TIME THEY HAD DECIDED TO SHOW UP !!! I WILL NEVER EVER CALL THEM FOR ANYTHING EVER AGAIN . Unless the car you want them to pick up is at your house do NOT call this place !!! The only good thing I have to say about them is that they showed up with the check with the agreed amount . And the worst part is they knew we were coming from out of state and didn’t care. I hope this post prevents someone else from going through what we had been through because I wouldn’t wish that on anyone it was so miserable .

You'd think these guys would jump on a chance for free inventory. I've called twice and scheduled a pickup for a junk vehicle and haven't heard a peep from them or had the thing picked up. If they're willing to give up on free inventory and leave me hanging I can't imagine what it's like dealing with them as a customer. If they're as disorganized as they seem to me I suggest staying far, far away from them. Calling them tomorrow to tell them to forget about my old beater and I'll let somebody else come and get it

A little slow in the front office, but that's not unusual for Copart. Loaders are excellent. Extremely helpful.

Only 1 star since 0 is not allowed, scheduled pick up for vehicle that needed to be removed asap before fines from the city started coming they called day before set up for 6 that night never showed up or called then set up for next day and still never called or showed up thankfully another crew was able to come out NOT recommended if you have a deadline to meet. Customer service is key in most businesses and they obviously lack that.

New policy only allows escorted view of cars. The day I went only one person was escorting and the line was out the door. Expect to wait unless they change the policy back to the way it was. Only can view up to 5 card at a time. Also you have to wait for a forklift driver if the cars are not moved up towards the front for auction (has an auction date assigned). However, staff are friendly and plenty of people to strick up a conversation with. I have bought one car from this location in the past. It is a three hour drive for me, so future cars will have to be high on the wish list to go pre-view to buy.

I would never again donate to a charity that uses Copart. I was scheduled for a donation car pickup on Thursday, November 30, 2017. They never called me to say they would not be able to make it that day. I had to call in and ask why they didn't make the pickup. The young lady ,in dispatch, who answered the phone put me on hold twice to get what I considered basic information from some other person. Finally, she said they would be out today between 1--5 PM. I called back in the AM this date to talk to Christopher P., the manager. I was told he had gone to dispatch to get information; he never came to the phone and I was given to Holly. She was very apologetic and said I would be prioritized for an earlier delivery. The car was picked up today while I was at work, as agreed upon. However, the tow truck driver did not leave a pickup receipt as promised! Contrary to their nice sounding ads on the phone while you wait, in my opinion they do not care about giving good customer service--they have no incentive to do so. I should have used Melwood as the donation charity as I did many years ago---never a problem.

Very bad experience first and final time to purchase vehicle at yard. Management rude and unwilling to help. Front desk light skin girl thinks she owns the company ask about my title and was told she has no clue when I'll get it.No clue disrespectfully. Cash trap $99. Cant leave vehicle parked in front of yard u would be towed or vehicle returned inside yard, there claim city dont want people parking outside but u charge buyers $99 for parking and i bet $99 don't go to city all around fraud and openly taking advantage of buyers. Don't dear ask workers for any help regarding ur vehicle approach rude and worst as management. Management won't see or talk to buyers openly except on phone through front desk. All hail Culpepper, Metro Dc, Tidewater to name a few.

Horrible. If I could give the rating a zero, I would. This company was contacted by a charity because I was donating my car to charity. Copart called to say the car would be picked up the next day (Wednesday) but it wasn't. Two days later I called to find out the problem. It was the driver. He claimed not to have known he could take the car without me there. The hole in his claim? The email said to leave the keys in the car and I didn't need to be there for pickup. Also, no one knew he'd come by but not taken the car because he didn't leave me a note or call, and the company didn't know I still had the car or that he'd come by until I called. When I called (this had to be done twice several hours apart), he said he'd come by Friday, but he didn't. I canceled the donation Friday night (11pm) after I got home and still saw my car because of the unprofessionalism of the driver as a rep of the company and the investigation on the charity I chose. Monday morning I received a call from the company. At some point between Sunday night after 7p.m. and Monday morning before 8a.m., the driver came and took my car to the yard. He brought it back Monday afternoon. The company's gift to me? I now, courtesy of him, have a driver's door with no door handle because they broke it. And it gets better. When I called about the broken door handle, he claimed not to have broken it and his manager claims it was like that when he saw it. So of course, it's my fault. If you use this company, take pictures of the vehicle with time stamps, wait for the driver, get his/her name, take pictures of the vehicle with the driver in it with time stamps. Then in the event he shows up then later claims it wasn't his fault, you have proof.

I used Peddle to get rid of my car and Copart was the company they worked with in order to have the car picked up. I did not have a bad experience with the company itself. They came picked up the car within the time framed and cut me a check for the amount that was agreed upon. The only reason that i am giving them a 4 stars is because of one particular customer service rep, ''Ruth'' (rude & unprofessional) Besides her nasty attitude, everyone else that I spoke to after that was good .
