Way too expensive for what they have. Water is pretty dirty and was leaving brown stains in my shower stall and in sinks and the sediment was clogging the valves. The sites are all sand, constant sand in the trailer. Also only 30 sites. And it can't even take a full thirty amps. The photos are not what this place is now. Pool hasn't been used in a long time. Also the wifi doesn't work, mostly.

Horrible etiquette they allow police officers to sit in driveway and harass and check drivers and camper so be aware!!!!!!!

I experienced plenty of price gouging here. Said it was $35 to move your rv from a winter spot to a summer one but I was charged an extra $40 for a total of $75. I asked what was the $40 for and I was told it was a “getting ready to move fee”. I did all the prep to get ready to move so that was a stolen $40 that they ripped me off of. I guess Russ needed the cash. Then I was charged for an extension power cord because my rv was put into the slip away from the side of the power receptacle, so he charged me another $65 for a cord I wouldn’t have needed if he had put my rv in the slip the right way! They pile people on top of each other, constant pressure about their “events”. Russ has an “attitude”. Further, while having a 30 day or longer stay requirement which is more residential camping and less recreational their curfew is 11:00 pm. I don’t know about others but I lived there for 14 months. Im not retired I work and found that late when you NEED to get rest, and the drunk next to me who began drinking at 11:00 am, played “A Boy Named Sue” over and over and over didn’t work and kept me up. The curfew should be 9:00. This place wants to be residential with their old rules in place for recreational camping. Not sure what they are but they’re combative, nasty and condescending. Not for me.

This has been one of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. Owners are friendly and attentive. It’s so quiet and peaceful! They are always taking care of things to keep it nice and cleaned up. I would recommend to anyone looking for a longer term- chill place to stay. Also, Kid- friendly :)

Awesome place to camp and stay awhile. The owners are very friendly and helpful if something does go wrong. Witch we have been here since February cause of my wife’s job and haven’t seen anything out of the ordinary. It’s like staying in a state park Yes I read a lot of reviews saying roads are bad but all city state and federal roads are bad . With kids playing people do need to slow down and the visitors here understand that. Anyways we’ll be here till august. Really going to miss this place and the friends we have met

Wayyy too many rules like others were saying, I find it cute they have a recycling program but require your RV to be no less than 15 years old so it isnt an "eye sore" to your neighbors (guess I gotta throw my 07 in a landfill). On top of that stinky water and not very aesthetic ?? I've been to alot of campgrounds this year and I can confidently say this ain't one I'm going back to.

The owners were very nice and helpful. The campground however has absolutely nothing to do on it . Old swing equipment, tennis court and a green pool. The bugs and sand throughout the camp ground was a little hard to deal with . Some other campers had ants in there camper as well as other bugs. I left 12 days early and received no money back and also was charged more for electric cost . Out of 12 days of money 100 dollar key deposit I got 38 bucks back. The worst thing of all is the horrible smelling water . I was told it was my camper that was 1 month old and not there lines or pipes. After talking to almost everyone at the park we all had the same smelling rotten egg water bad. Guess all Of our lines went bad at the same time . Other than that great.

Due to them still treating covid as it's early 2020 they only do by the month which is great if you're a retiree but not someone who works but wanted to take his family camping where his grandparents and dad took him camping. Eventually the world has to get back to more normalcy I hope.

Had reservations and when we got there, they said our truck was too big! Seriously!? On a weekend no doubt, 3 hours away from home, tolls, and we told them how big our rig was when we booked the site. One person suggested to bring our camper down with a tractor and the guy said it’s too much trouble!! REALLY!? Ok, so it was their fault for booking us when they can’t accommodate our rig and we are stuck on a weekend trying to book another campground. RUDE RUDE and beyond helpful at all. How is that ok to say they don’t want to bother with the trouble? I do not recommend this place and can’t due to not even apologizing because we told them the size of our camper. We were in a group of three campers. A toddler, dogs, now have to drive another 4.5 hours to the nearest campsite Available.

Not our kind of place. Very inconvenient location. Not even a grocery nearby. Small RV sites. Poor infrastructure: water pressure, hook ups. Roads and pads are dirt. If you're wanting to go camping and stay put in the campground, this may not be a bad place for you, but if you're sightseers like us and like to go and do... this is not your spot. We are full timers and have enjoyed many great campgrounds (OBX in Kill Devil Hills & Black Bear in Florida, NY to name a few) but this is not one of them. We won't be back.

Love the peace and tranquility , the fishing, the concerts in the summer. The staff is wonderful, always accomidating and efficient. My favorite place to go to relax. Also close to Rhehobeth beach and Dover.

Pros: WiFi throughout the entire campground. Nice, large swimming pool. Cons: Playgrounds were old and outdated. Front desk lady was very snippy. Crop duster flew nearby at 5:30 am on a Sunday morning. Extremely loud for about an hour and woke my kids up. Not saying the campground can control that, but I definitely won't be going back after that experience.

The only thing I don't understand about this place is that they allow dogs for campers but not if you're visiting a camper and want to bring your pet. Being in law enforcement, my yellow lab travels with me and I was informed he wouldn't be allowed in their park. Even though hes better trained than any dog there. So I'll not ever be camping there because I would have to tell all of my dog owner family they can't come there to visit.

The train is active and right behind the camp ground, there doesn't seem to be a fence between tracks and park. If you have small children it may be dangerous. There is a "curtain" of shrubbery.

I can't say enough about this place and the people who run it. When we arrived our trailer had a broken tongue jack and, per our warranty/roadside assistance, we were told we'd have to drive 60 miles to the nearest facility to get it fixed. The people who run this place came to us, helped us get settled and then went out of his way to fix the problem and dealt with our warranty company to get reimbursed for his trouble. He was honest and a great guy. The ladies at the front desk gave us directions to DC and advice about going into the city. The place is quiet and beautiful and there is a lot to do for the kids even in the off season. 5+ stars!

The first impression started with the lady checking us in. Rude and seemed annoyed I was there. The playground for the kids appeared to be a death trap. Wooden, old, and falling apart. The bath houses were disgusting and badly needed to be updated. The campsites are very close to each other. The old abandoned trailer park trailers throughout were a sore site to see. The roads were dusty and gravel worn away. The pictures on their website portray a different look. This is just my experience though. I'm used to Virginia State Parks and their great attention given to maintenance and cleanliness.

Heavily policed by the staff and very rude. They walk around collecting firewood that people left behind to resell it. You are being watched by the staff when in the pool from time to time. They advertise on their websites weekend child events and when you check in are told they are not having the event. Look at you like you are crazy. What Event? If it happens to you - ask for a full refund!

friendly, accommodating, and spacious. this is one of our favorite campgrounds and we have been all over the U.S. we needed a nut to fix the bar on one of our landing gear and staff was so helpful in bringing us exactly what we needed. the sell great firewood too for a reasonable price. we had a spot on the stream (river?) and was so beautiful with all the trees. nice playground, too.

Our first time tent camping there. Camp ground is clean outside staff was great very helpful. Our electric did not work was told inside staff was aware that the electric did not work should have been told to rent an adapter at 25.00 deposit that you get back. As a tent camper we cook on the fire pit there was a ring with no top on it no way to cook. When I went to the camp store was told they don't provide them but if I went out back of store there maybe some old racks on the ground. Found one broken one but made it work. The game room was really out dated. The pool was beautiful but no life guards on duty the whole time we where there swim at own risk. And the play grounds where old and dirty really ran down looking. And definitely not enough bath house's but the outside staff keep them very clean. They lead you to believe you are sitting on the Choptank River you are sitting on an very small part of the river more like a very small stream about 8 foot wide.

Great prices on everything not just the rates. They escorted me to my site and helped me pull in. Then gave me 2 extension cords to use at no charge. Thy had fun events all weekend and we had a great time. Can't wait to go again.

This is our go to campground. The owners and staff are wonderful. This is a great campground for anyone. The pool is nice. The sites are usually good size. Bath Houses are always clean!! We usually stay during Memorial Day Weekend. During Holiday weekends alot more people. They also have lots of great activities going on especially for the kids.

We chose this location since we wanted to be able to get to Dover and Rehoboth Beach, DE, as well as St. Michael’s, MD. This location allowed us to do that even though it’s pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Site pad was dirt, driveways are asphalt on the entrance and then gravel, generally in good shape. Bathrooms are in good repair and generally clean. WiFi hotspot only available around the office and very restricted. Essentially, it was of no use to us. They have a pool but we didn’t us it. We were there during the week for 4 nights and it was very quiet, hardly anyone else around. We had site with 50 amp electric and water, dump stations and a pump out service are available. We paid a blended rate of $38.85 with Passport America and Good Sam.

Stayed here with my family a few weekends ago and it was awful. The brochure was VERY deceiving. Showed that they had blow up inflatable's for kids.. There were none.. Showed really nice playgrounds for kids... They were for very small children and everything was old and rusted. I wasn't even comfortable having our kid play on them. Showed a beautiful river with someone kayaking... The "river" water wasn't even moving AT ALL. We even paid extra for a "river view" and it was just stagnant green filthy water. When I went into the camp store with my mother we were talking to the female behind the desk and she was extremely rude. Constantly cutting us off when we were talking and she was just miserable. There are so many "rules" posted around the campground and pool that no one was following or enforcing. The ONLY compliments I can give is that the bathhouse I went to was clean and the male owner was helpful and nice. We will never ever come back again.

This campground is in my top 3 of all campgrounds ever stayed in and we've been traveling for 10 years. Very friendly people, very spacious sites, clean restrooms and showers, looks of fun things to do, especially if you enjoy nature. Cable tv

We reserved a drive-thru RV site for the weekend. I was apprehensive by all the negative comments and reviews. This is NOT what I found and in fact had a terrific weekend there. Plenty of gospel music, very quiet setting, extremely clean bathhouses, safe with a very pleasant staff. In fact, everyone went out of their way to make you feel like a valued guest. Not sure where all the negative reviews started as found none of them to be true. Very affordable weekend with park rules that were very family friendly. We plan on visiting this campground again.

My wife my 4 year old and myself had a really nice time there. We camped for three days, the sites were nice and shady bathrooms were very clean staff was very friendly along with fellow campers. I am 100% sure we will return really like the fact that they also gave me a site right next to a fun filled playground for my daughter she loved that! Thanks a bunch

We visited this campground for party, not to camp, and had the most interesting response at the gate.||Initially, the woman speaking on the intercom could not be heard and when asked to repeat what she had said...she became rather abrupt.||She told us to back up and park our vehicle in order to register it.||When going in, they wanted our name, tag number and the number of people and said that when we left we were to let them know which activity we were a participant in order to exit the property.||And explained in detail how if a vehicle were to be leaving the same time, that we should let them exit and then hit the call button for our own.||As we were leaving, we were only expected to tell them this information. ||They never asked us our name, or tag number, upon exiting. ||So the hassle of going into the office was for what???||||Over the years, we have visited this campground for various parties, but would at this point not consider it to be a place to book a reservation for ourselves or recommend it to others.

Very nice and clean campground. We camp there after the main season (Oct.) and the place was empty. We only used our own facilities. The camp ground is very dark way in the back when checking in the dark for our first time. Will return again.

The campground is old. Metal playground equipment. Un friendly staff.||||Well stocked camp store. Lots of rules. A long ride into the campground with many un-necessary speed bumps. Bare minimum of activities so that they can be under the "Good Sam's" listing.

Went camping there June 2014. We have a 3 yr old daughter. The campground is well maintained and the bathhouses are immaculate. It has a wholesome family atmosphere. They do a great job with the family activities. The regulars are very friendly. This campground has a welcome to our small town feel. I will be returning. Aaron Chojnacki
