This place is huge with a large variety of vintage kitchen and household decorative smalls and collectables situated on two floors of partitioned booths and nooks. Prices seem reasonable, recommend.
SUPER COOL PLACE there is so much to look at, it genuinely feels never ending in the very best way. Perfect spot for any antique/thrift lovers, or for anyone who just likes looking at cool stuff. Highly highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area, or honestly make a day trip out of it since there is so much to look at in there.
Chesapeake Market Place is a total hidden gem! We spent Saturday afternoon wandering through endless vintage treasures, and it was such a fun experience. The selection is amazing - antiques, collectibles, and unique finds. Plus, the prices were great, with lots of sales and deals throughout.

This place was my gateway into finally enjoying thrifting/antiquing last summer. I got a jacket and some cool jewelry and accessories~ there are game-themed rooms and rocks in the building next door. I had a lot of fun~
I’ve lived in Saint Leonard for four years but only ventured into here for the first time yesterday because i didn’t want to take my youngest here until he knew to behave. It was such a good time. There were some booths with toys that my 3 sons shopped from and some freeze dried candy that we purchased as well. Theres so much antique furniture, unique decor pieces and trinkets. I went there looking for a lamp and fell in love with a beautiful one but I couldn’t justify the price tag. My husband asked me at the register if I was positive that I didn’t want it and the woman behind the counter told him she could do a better price and took $40 off the tag. I was surprised and so happy to go home with it. I have used the auction house in the past to buy an end table, antique curio and an antique bed frame and picking them up was easy as pie once I knew the layout. This will for sure become one of our family’s regular spots.
This place has a little of everything. I didn't know there was a knife store and video game store there. I hear there is a medic supply store coming soon. This place is quite the handy market with a good location close to other shopping, fuel, and food.
Bought from this auction house on HiBid. The auction said shipping available in the auction information. They also provided contact information if you needed shipping quotes upfront. I didn’t care what the shipping price was so did not contact for a quote. I waited for a reasonable amount of time for my winnings to arrive when they did not I’ve tried to reach out via telephone and email to auction house numerous times with no response. My credit card and out of state address was provided up front. If you are out of state do not buy from them!!! They will take your money and never ship your products! They will not answer calls or emails!
Great family owned business. Good place to make some extra money with those vintage things that have been lying around your house. Or go the other way and find something for your collection. They are now so stressed that they can't be cordial to anyone. Somethings going on. I'll keep you posted. Business is business but
I just love Chesapeake Marketplace! It’s the perfect place to hunt for thrifted treasure. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and often will offer a discount if you ask. I even got my house hippo here. If you find yourself in the area, definitely set aside time time and energy to explore!
Truly could not have asked for a better experience! I won some stuff online and had certain pieces shipped, the Chesapeake Marketplace team processed everything really quickly and professionally, and was very attentive to my annoying picky requests. Their shipping partner did an incredible job packing it safely. It was delivered to the shipper lightning fast and so I got everything in the blink of an eye. Chesapeake & Co. are gems and I will be paying attention to future auctions/sales!
Found main things I was looking for, so super pleased with that. Front area was nice and comfy cool, back section was a bit too much for me today as I don't deal well with heat. Plan to go back when weather cools down and explore all the out buildings! So much to see!!
Place is awesome! We won an antique oak wash stand on an online auction yesterday and stopped by to pick it up. Ended up with a crystal decanter, crystal wine glasses, crystal salt cellars, milk glass cream and sugar (hob nail), 6 crystal cordial glasses, an etched decanter that matches vintage snifters we already own, and for the hubs a vast iron skillet, beer steins, a rustic MD flag crab sign. We didn't have time to fully explore the whole place but we'll be back!!
Very fun place to wander and discover exactly what you weren't looking for...and fall in love with it. Prices are variable. Sometimes you can haggle. Many vendors under one roof and plenty of floor space. So take your time, explore both floors thoroughly and have fun
Cool place with a lot of different little shops outside and a huge indoor room with antiques. Loved looking at everything and the smell of the antiques.
Gave us some ideas for auctioning off old items.
Some great shops with some great sellers. Been twice in the past month, and I've walked away with something both times. Retro Vintage PLC has a storefront here with a nice selection of vintage games, toys, etc.

They had a little bit of you can think of. So many little shops inside and out. The place was quiet big.
They have autions every week in one of the many buildings.
A nice antique market place. A lot of good treasures at very reasonable prices. This place is pretty big too! I nearly got lost. The people that work there are so nice! I can't wait to go back.
Awesome Auction House - always a great variety of interesting stuff at great prices. Auctions are soft close so there's no sniping at the last second. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about Chesapeake Auction House. The only thing that would make it better is if they had live, in-house auctions.
Awesome place that's full of great stuff for everyone. From the serious collector, to entry levels they have all the price points covered. Wide range of cool stuff and knowledgeable staff!!!
Owners Larry and Kay and staff are genuine, sincere and friendly. The attendees also are great to socialize with and we have made friends with many. Great bargains! I and my wife Janet have been attending Chesapeake Marketplace auctions for years and have acquired many vintage and antique items of all kinds.
