All was great. They were prompt, courteous & friendly. The driver knew exactly what do to when loading our SUV. Service was in Nov 2025 & the vehicle was towed to Annapolis. No issues at all.
I had a top notch experience with Trista. Had locked my keys in my trunk and she was able to quickly open my car. When the security features made accessing the trunk to get the key difficult (and a call to Toyota indicated retrieving the second set of keys - 90 minutes away was the only option) she continued to stick with me to work toward an alternate solution - yielding success! And all of this in the rain too- truly excellent service!
I had a great experience with this tow company thanks to Jake, the driver who helped me. He was incredibly professional, polite, and made me feel completely at ease during a stressful situation. Jake explained everything clearly, handled my vehicle with care, and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable from start to finish. Denise, who scheduled the service, was also wonderful — friendly, helpful, and made the entire process simple and stress-free. Highly recommend their service — and if you’re lucky enough to work with Denise and Jake, you’re in great hands!

After the starter went on my truck, I called Southern Maryland Towing for a tow. Within 2 hours, they sent out a tow truck, Trista loaded it, delivered it to my repair guy, and I was back home. Great service and Trista was efficient and polite.

favorite, Krista , was on top of everything. I almost made it to my house driveway, when my Vette went into electrical failure. Krysta loaded my car and towed it to my driveway. Odd, but upon offloading my car in the driveway, it cranked right up !

Delonte came out to get my vehicle jumpstarted last week and rendered the BEST service ever. I was heading out for work, but my vehicle wouldn’t start & thankfully he arrived in less than 5 minutes! Thank you!!!
First time using them through AAA and Denise was extremely courteous and professional in helping me navigate the process. AAA required me to be onsite at pickup and she explained how to avoid that. The driver was at my vehicle within 20-30 min and the entire transaction was smooth and easy. Will def use them again!
Delonte Morsell, was my tow driver who promptly came out and picked up my down vehicle. He was professional and courteous and called to let me know when he had dropped my vehicle at the dealership.
Southern Maryland Towing held my personal items for ransom from my damaged vehicle in their impound lot until they could verify 'they would be paid', even after I explained (and provided evidence) I was not found liable in the accident and my insurance was not involved. On top of that an absolutely rude employee who hid behind the 'just doing my job' line.
Do yourself a favor and use A+ towing across the street.
I've been using AAA for a few years now and unfortunately have needed a tow on numerous occasions. I've been lucky to have received tow service from Southern Maryland Towing and have been very fortunate to have had Janine as the driver on several of those occasions! She rocks! She is personable, professional, knowledgeable and very adept at her job! I hope Southern Maryland Towing takes care of her, as she is a a rarity today!
Absolutely FANTASTIC. Best customer service. Being stranded on the road in the rain with a kid is no fun. Janine was quick, and got us safe! Thank goodness for them!
The dispatcher and the lady who came to tow my car were very nice and professional. It all happened very quickly and the price was reasonable. I have them in my contacts now in case I need them again!
For a company that claims to be open 24/7, they sure didn't want to answer me.
I had reached out to them about a 35ft motorhome needing to be towed about 22 miles, less than an hour tow, and they told me I would get a quote within a few business days. I called back maybe 4-5 times and got the same answers, "a supervisor will need to quote that type of tow, I will call him right now and tell him to call you back" then radio silence. This went on for almost 2 weeks and by the time I finally got a call back, I had already called another tow company and they gave me a great quote and could pick up the vehicle within a few days! I can't say anything about the tow service itself because I never heard back in time to actually move forward, but they were very difficult to get in touch with and never answered my questions.
TJ excel at servicing Southern Maryland Towing customers. He has the natural ability to understand and feel what customers are experiencing, and he is able to meet the customers needs effectively. Well done!
Southern Maryland Towing caused $4611 of damage to my truck and refuses to repay me. The driver improperly put a winch on a weak part of the truck. Ripped it in half! We have 3 witnesses to the damage, on record. I have sent them this information, and they will not respond. They are unethical. DM me and I will send you more info about these crooks. Stay clear of this company.
TJ saved our night!!! AAA gave us an estimated time of 1 hour wait but TJ got here in 13 minutes!!!!! He was super quick, professional and nice. We had a great experience and will definitely use SMD Towing for all future towing needs! I wish I had some cash to tip him bc he really deserved it.
The lady that came to tow my husband's truck was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable and nice. She made sure that his vehicle got to the shop and kept in contact the whole time. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone! Great job and thank you for being an amazing towing company.
Because we were dealing with a tow due to an accident it was a little shaky at first. But after my husband talked the situation through with Shawn I feel like we were treated with respect and treated fairly.
I locked my keys in my car while running late for work. I immediately called Southern MD Towing. Shawn saved the day and was able to unlock my car. He was very professional and responded quickly.
There was one of their trucks parked in front of a bar, and the driver was drinking. When I called to let the office know, the girl that answered the phone was very rude and disrespectful. I called the following day to speak with a manager and she was only slightly easier to talk to.

It took two trucks and technicians to extract a 2003 Honda Accord from a culvert it partially straddled and partially fell into. They had to think outside the box to get good winching angles, and were able to gently slide and pull the car out. Aside from a minor bend on the driver side pinch rail, the car escaped unscathed.
We have had to use So MD Towing a couple it times now for my ‘92 Camry. They have always been very professional and ahead of the time estimate by at least a 1/2 hour or more.
Have used Southern Maryland Towing many times. Highly recommended! Outstanding service above the rest. Explained everything from price, what the truck looks like, what time it's going to arrive, the driver's name and so on. Where are you going to get that kind of service anywhere you're not.
