Called up to this store to ask if they had my battery in stock and if they install them for me they said yes they have my battery in stock and yes they will install. I made my way to the store where they tried to tell me they did not have my battery when I could see it right in front of me when i pointed out my battery the employee then tells me if i go across the street to walmart i could get it for cheaper i said no i came here bc you guys will install it for me like i was told over the phone then employee tells me its too cold for them to install it for me. Talk about lazy.

Team at the advance auto was more than helpful. Bam, in particular, was amazing at helping diagnose the problem and then went above and beyond to help fix it. Can't say thank you enough.

Matt and April were so helpful: my car had a check coolant light on and Matt helped me check it out and put in new coolant, and April helped me get the right coolant. They went above and beyond and I’m truly grateful!

Worst place I’ve ever been to. The most negative, condescending attitude I’ve ever experienced in an auto parts store. And that’s saying a hell of a lot! The employees here seriously need to fix themselves. Don’t shop at this dump!

Been to numerous advance autos in the area this is by far the worst. Lady was mad she had to get up out of her chair to go in the back to find parts....THATS YOUR JOB! Another gentleman that I'm guessing was the manager found what I was looking for and got me on my way. She needs to find a new job.

I wanted to thank Matt, if it wasn't for him my car would be on a tow truck right now! He is an asset to the team, Matt has always been very Helpful, Professional and Willing to share his Knowledge. Just this evening I bought a replacement battery for my car and after putting the new battery in my car would not idle and would stall... Unfortunately I bought the battery from another business and they could not help... I was very worried and thought that I was going to have to spend a ton of money to have my car towed to a mechanic and even miss work, but limped my car to Advance Auto where I should have gone to begin with and Matt helped me with the diagnostics and found out that all my car needed was a simple throttle body relearn which was very easy free fix problem solved.

Once again leaving a negative review for this advance auto, was there to do a exchange and had to deal with employees attitude. This a perfect example of people not happy with their job or management. I am yet to meet a employee that is willing to help or advice.

Every time I go to this store, I have an amazing experience! I last went a few weeks ago with my father-in-law to buy a new battery and the employees put it in for us. Yes, not unusual, but it was extremely difficult to put in the battery because everything is rusted in the car. Erin, (I hope I have the name correct) the manager, came out and helped us for almost 45 minutes to an hour. Everyone is so helpful and go above and beyond to help us.

Dunkirk store, Horrible Service! Went to the FT. Washinton store on the afternoon of Sunday, Mar. 7th for parts. The items were not in stock and the sales rep automatically checked the availability with other stores. The parts were at the Dunkirk store, I paid and was told that the parts would be at the FT Washington store on Monday. Monday, no show. Tuesday, no show. Sales Rep, Moe at the FT Washington store was on the phone with Dunkirk for 30 mins. to inform me that that parts never left the Dunkirk Store. I called the Dunkirk store and talked to Christina, she informed me that the delivery drivers work for a third party company, but I guess she didn't want to hear what I was saying. She put me on hold and never came back on line. I hung up and called back and talked with Brad since the Manager was not available. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the store. The problem was not the delivery service, as Christina pionted out, but the store itself. Two days missed for parts shipped out is unacceptable and is a failure of the stores efficiency, and a reflection on the Leadership. I will have to wait another day to put the car back together. Brad said the parts just went out on the truck as we were on the phone. I'm holding Brad accountable.

Terrible customer service! Has to be the worst advance auto parts store I have ever been in! Cant speak for all the employees there but the lady that was helping me “ if that’s what u call it” was worthless!

Really let down by the company's computer system. Bought a alternator and it went bad quickly, before the part got dirty, yet they couldn't find a record of my purchase at first, then did find it so an even exchange would have solved it all. When I arrived later to get shipped part they no longer had the purchase information (which they used to find the correct part in 1st place) and then in had to RE -buy ($120) the new reconditioned guaranteed for life part AGAIN. Major let down I will be doing more online shopping for parts from other companies in the future. And expect rude comments and unprofessionalism during the close of the business day, they're already off and on way home in their head

I don't typically post negative reviews, but they really upset me today. I purchased a set of both front and rear brake pads for my wife's car in January. It took me a while to install them, and it turned out that I didn't need the rear pads. I never even opened the box. I assumed I wouldn't get a refund, but I was hoping to receive store credit because I planned to get oil and a filter while I was there. The guy at the counter said the return wouldn't be a problem even though it had been so long, but his manager had to do it. While I was waiting, I asked him if he could look up the oil filter model based on the VIN. I'm not proud of this, but I couldn't remember which motor she had. He said they couldn't look up parts by the VIN, but he could look it up with just the year/make/model, because both the 4 cylinder and v6 versions used the same filter. (This is not true at all.) When I asked why the corresponding part numbers were different for each motor, he asked the manager if they could do VIN lookup. They can. When he asked her to do the refund, she looked at the receipt, told me it had been too long, and promptly started to walk away. I tried to explain that I only wanted store credit, and she rudely said, "The computer won't let me do it" and walked away. I worked in retail when I was younger and find it hard to believe the manager couldn't override their policy for an unopened product a little over 30 days past the return window for a product they still sell. Regardless, she didn't have to be so rude about it. From now on, I will be exclusively going to the AutoZone across the street!

My car engine light came on and left a message that something was wrong so I went and their machine told us what was wrong and than I got the car taken care of. A polite person helped me.

Huge variety of car stuff, especially cosmetic. It's always been pretty empty when I've been in. Guys inside are helpful enough.
