Avery’s is the absolute best. Ronnie and the rest of the staff are amazing. I have had several stone chips repaired on several different cars and one windshield replaced and my experience in all these cases was better than expected. They get you in on time and service completed properly and promptly. If you’re in need of glass work, Avery’s is the best.
My “go to” for all glass work. The people are friendly, professional, and courteous. Their work is the very best and the prices are reasonable and fair. Cannot say enough good things about Avery’s. You won’t be disappointed.
Last Friday, I took my car (Subaru Crosstrek) to Avery’s for its one-year anniversary “check-up” and oil change. Ronny in the office reassured me that they will use the correct synthetic for my car, and named the correct one off the top of his head. His knowledge was simply reassuring to me (I’d already checked what was needed from the manual.) He said they have check-lists provided by vehicle manufacturers so they conduct the exact same checks as a dealership’s service center.
Today, Avery’s Automotive replaced the windshield on my son’s vehicle (Nissan Altima). I appreciate that they said, in some cases, “generic” glass can be used and it’s much cheaper than the name brand. That was news to me. (But it depends on your car’s electronic features, as generic glass may not work with certain lane-departure features, etc..) They don’t try to rip you off, and Steve took my car back at my appointment time and was done quickly.
I’ve been an Avery’s customer for several years now. Their office has quaint, small-town charm. No frills. Not trying to be fancy. Just an honest shop, providing good service and keeping prices fair. It’s what keeps me returning as a loyal customer.
Was able identify the problem, knew how to solve, gave a fair cost, both labor and materials. I scheduled appointment so problem could be solved. Avery's solved the problem with and before the time promised.
Avery Automotive was great The owners described my state inspection I hadn't had a car inspection for more than 50 years since I'm new to Maryland
I made sure all services were done But my car failed The state of MD said that since the windshield sprayer didn't work on the passenger side But Avery ordered the part and installed it before the tag office closed all in one afternoon I would recommend Avery to anyone Reasonable price great service and quick turnaround
Needed to get a state inspection for a truck that I bought. The guys at Avery's were great to work with. The price I was charged for the inspection and for the work I needed done was very reasonable. Highly recommend.
Normally when people go on Google, deliver a review, it's for a bad experience. I'm happy to announce this is the offset. I ended up going here for a replacement windshield. It was cheaper to actually contact them and just do the window out of pocket then to go through insurance. That being said they were able to get me in very quickly, when I got there about half an hour early they got me in before my appointment time and I was out the door very quickly. They were super professional they were nice I highly recommend it.
Avery's Automotive and Glass was able to squeeze me in last minute to fill a windshield chip. The work turned out excellent, but arguably more important was their flexibility and awesome customer service, which these days is hard to come by.
After having a horrible experience with a highly advertised glass company, I called Avery's Automotive and Glass. They were great!! Ronnie had me an appointment the next day at a fraction of the cost. Having already had one windshield replaced by the other company and compared to not only the quality of work, but the pleasant experience, I Highly recommend Avery's!!!
Brought my car in to have the Speedometer Instrument Cluster fixed which they successfully did.
Unfortunately, during the week that they had my vehicle they said a "rack" had fallen on it during a storm puncturing a hole in the trunk and breaking one of the taillights. They said their insurance would not cover it since it was an act of God and happened in the parking lot. They wrote off the original work on the speedometer which was $275 but the quote on my vehicle at a local body shop came to $1050 and this would be out of pocket for me since I only have liability insurance. I really think this could have been handled better.
Great service,fair prices and super honest staff . I'll always bring my auto to Avery's Automotive and Glass. I'd recommend Avery's to all my family and friends . Great team of guys.
Everyone is always great and so helpful to take care of everything. Cars Trucks Trailers Windows in the vehicle and even glass for any residential and commercial. Great Service Great People and always makes sure everyone is taken care of and comfortable.

Locally owned and operated for over 35 years, they are one of the oldest and most reputable automotive service centers in Calvert County—and for good reason.

Their pricing is fair and transparent, and you won’t find a more trustworthy shop in the area. I just had my windshield replaced and received excellent service. The night drop off was so easy and convenient. Helpful and friendly staff provided a reasonable quote. Will use Avery’s again.
Completely agree with all the other reviews here! Excellent customer service, courteous, and the pricing is very fair.
I chose to wait while the windshield on my BMW was replaced - is was in an out within an hour. I was provided with tips on what to do / not to do, and I could not be happier with the pricing.
I highly recommend Avery's and they have gained a customer for life!

I came to Avery’s with a last minute emergency tire repair, they handled it not only as absolute professionals but with excellent repair work. They were busy but still took the time to fit me in to have my vehicle back on the road same day. Ronnie and the other gentleman at the desk whose name I didn’t get are the friendliest service workers I have ever met. They could have easily charged me for much more work and told me to get lost until they freed some space but that didn’t happen. I would recommend them to anybody I talk too. Thanks Avery mechanics and office personnel you guys killed it
I would 10/10 recommend them. The customer service and spot on. They were easy to book and got me in and out in an hour for a replacement of my wind shield. Everyone was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. We will be returning for future repairs. We already book another one of our vehicles for repairs. The pricing was very reasonable as well. I quoted somewhere else , and got a quote double of what Avery’s was charging. You get a bang for your buck without sacrificing quality.
Avery Automotive has been my go to mechanic since we moved to Calvert county in 2009. They have done all our routine recommended maintenance (eg transmission / radiator flush and fluid changes) and some major repairs (eg, axles, transmissions, clutches, electrical) for all our vehicles over the years.
They are thorough, reliable, honest, and reasonably priced. I have not had any problems that required rework.
If they think a dealer or other shop is better suited for the work then they would recommend someone reliable. These are usually dealer unique items or specialty work like exhaust systems.
The team was able to get my vehicle in and start working on it right away. They are very well versed with the services they provide and very well priced. I thank the Avery team for getting me back on the road within the same day. Keep up the great work!
