The people at Maryland fleet center and Maryland performance claim to be the “powerstroke experts” unfortunately, that’s far from the truth. We took our low mile 2004 6.0 powerstroke to them to get their stage 2 performance package to prolong the life and reliability of the vehicle. Overall, $17,000 was spent with this company on o ring heads, studs, custom tuning, turbo, injectors and all the other things they recommended with this package to ensure I wouldn’t have any trouble out of this engine. Less than 20,000 miles later the truck has a head gasket issue and these people will not stand behind their work. The truck never had any issues prior to letting them work on it. I’ve tried to find common ground with them in order to get the truck fixed and all they want to offer is a couple hundred off the price of replacing the head gaskets again. Do not make the mistake I did by letting MPD Maryland fleet center work on your powerstroke. The truck is currently at another shop where they found a machining defect in the o ring heads. This company may look great on social media with all the high performance diesel parts they make but the service department is subpar. And the lake of integrity with the owner is appalling for not having the decency to do the right thing

This is a first class operation. I had an issue with my collector truck and it is not something you can just drive to the location to get worked. I called and spoke with Dave. And asked could he come by maybe like with a MOBILE UNIT. And wow to my surprise he said yes and was at my house in 45 minutes after the phone call. But bad news. It had to go into the shop for repairs. They worked with the towing company to receive my truck and handled it like professionals from start to finish. I am very thankful for this great experience and they even treated me with the right price. Dave provided updates every step of the way. Do not hesitate to use them. Remember. Took a chance to bring my vehicle In for some work despite there reputation around my work place.
Upon picking my vehicles up I noticed the issue was not fixed. I thought maybe it just needed more drive time to work out said issues. After 7 days the problem still persisted and I decided to take it to another garage to see what the problem was since MFC(md fleet center) installed brand new parts and supposedly fixed the other problems as well.
Upon inspection at the other garage the mechanic found out the new parts installed were badly damaged and the other issues were not fixed properly. He sent pictures and everything. He then offered to fix everything for a much lower price then MFC if they didn’t offer to fix the problems they caused. I called Md fleet and they tip toed around the problem and did not want to fix there mistake or offer some sort of refund but said they would fix it if I paid again.
I returned to the other garage and had them fix everything. It now runs perfectly and they gained a new customer.
Vehicle owners expect a Job done right when repairs are warranted, but this GROUP goes above & beyond this perfectionists expectations.

Being in the towing industry, our trucks get worked hard, and it sometimes takes years of trial-and-error to find a shop you trust. We trust these guys. They have serviced everything from personal vehicles, to light-duty wreckers, to Freightliners. The work is almost always perfect (maybe 99.9%) Logan and Cherie are people we know and trust. I read some reviews about money and pricing, and I get it - fixing trucks can be expensive. But when the work is done right, and sometimes even custom-built or fabricated to ensure a solution - well that's going above and beyond and is worth the price of admission. Thank you guys!

Great place to do business! I had an issue installing my MPD intercooler pipe, I called the shop, They told me to bring it down whenever, and fixed everything! Top notch customer service! Won’t go anywhere else! Additionally, I recently went down for a transmission install! Nothing but wonderful customer service from Logan and Justin! They even cleaned my truck when it was covered in pollen! What more could you ask for !
I will be back for a compound kit when the Black Friday sales drop !
I have a 28 year old Dodge with the trusty old 6 cylinder diesel. That being said, it is very difficult to find a good mechanic that doesn't mind working on these! Took my truck in for bulletproofing ect everything was good oil sensor went bad (stuff happens) fixed it under warranty. My rear main seal is leaking took off back for them to look at it got told that it’s fine when there’s clearly oil coming out of my bell housing but they said it’s not leaking. Took my truck back for something else not related to this. My truck wouldn’t build boost or icp had y’all diag it got told my inner cooler was cracked and needs a hpop. Truck needed a turbo the vgt was sticking. Inner cooler was fine.
I bought Chevy duramax used and pervious owner got Maryland diesel and off road to replace head gaskets on truck. The repair didn’t held up. Had to go back and replace heads and head gaskets AGAIN (somewhere else) only after 20,000 miles. When taking apart found clips and brackets not put together in the correct spots and missing bolts.
MPD/ MD Fleet Center is my one stop shop for all of my diesel service and repairs. I’d recommend them to anyone that wants quality service with people that you can trust! Came in as a would be first time customer after needing an alignment done, and was told that i needed to change all 4 control arms, and ball joints before having the alignment complete. i understand the ball joints, that makes sense..but they told me they wanted to change all 4 control arms because this would save them time; because the ball joints come on each control arms as a package deal. automatically i thought this was absurd. it takes less than 15 minutes to press a ball joint out.. i know because i did them last June... theres no need to change arms.. This shop wanted to just change all my control arms to save them time from pressing ball joints out and an easy way to sneak more money into the quote. The quote for just this work was just shy of $3000. price gouging at its finest. control arms are literally two bolts for each arm. i remember reading the labor costs for just the arms was close to 1000 dollars. thats literally taking off and replacing 8 bolts. To top it off, they are an off-road shop and my truck has a lift, i asked if they would replace my arms with something that would be more benefit to my lift, such as a better angle control arm. Nope, they were going to change them out to normal stock parts. Obviously i thought this quote was ridiculous so i took my business elsewhere. save your money go somewhere else!
These guys did a complete rebuild on my 6.4. Top quality work, excellent customer service and they stand by what they do. Only diesel mechanics I let work on my truck and I frequently recommend them.
Mediocre quality of labor .. you don't top oil level out after internal damage and just state " it's not in the receipt" more concern in trucks coming back that honest quality of work.. yes ur $40 oil change at your price just cost me a new engine .. awesome welds but shady work ..
