Today was our first time here. Staff were courteous, prices great. Large selection, clean items.

Goodwill what’s up with your dressing rooms? I was told they’ve been closed since the pandemic - news flash, it’s been over. And now your return policy is store credit only. So sure you can take it home and try it on but we’ve got your money now whether it fits or not. That’s BS! Sure looks like a nonprofit implementing policies to take advantage of their customers.

Worst Thrift I’ve been to. We found a couch and table but had to go home to get a trailer to load it. We were told they do not let you pay for an item to hold it. So, we drove home. Hooked up our trailer and called before we left the house to be sure the item was available still. They said it was. My husband drove up there just to find out that they allowed someone else to purchase and hold it for them so they could come back to pick up. BEYOND UNACCEPTABLE. We donate to this thrift store often and we will never be going back after what happened today.

This is the Goodwill I like to go to most often. It's usually decent. However, on my most recent visit, I found these two paintings that I really wanted. The only reason I didn't make the purchase is because some genius decided it was a good idea to put the price stickers DIRECTLY ON THE PAINTINGS. I'd add a photo but Google won't let me.

Wanted to purchase and item that did not have a tag. Clerk said " no tag, no price ,no sale". She didn't try get me price for me. Very unprofessional. I felt punished for something I didn't do!

Great selection and very large organized store, didn’t have dressing rooms open, and the prices are a little steep, but the quality is good.

Worth a stop! This Goodwill is well organized and the staff are very friendly. They have a good selection of home goods with some unique finds. Lots of clothes but the quality is just okay. As with any goodwill, some items can be wildly overpriced, but I have found some quality items for a good deal here. I prefer this Goodwill to others in the area.

Extremely rude and unreasonable. I've been here twice in the last month, but it will be a while before I go back. A few weeks ago, I dropped off a few boxes to the donation center. The guy was very rude and seemed pissed off at me for some reason. Recently in the store, I tried to buy something, but it didn't have a price tag so I took it to the girl at the register and she quickly took it from my hand and tossed it in a cart and said "if it doesn't have a price we can't sell it", then just turned and walked away. Seriously?! I then asked if we could come up with a price, and she just said no. So I left. It was a $5 or $10 item with some missing parts, but i was still interested in paying them for it if they had simply come up with a price. This has never been an issue at other Goodwills or thrift stores. I guess they want to make sure they maximize their "profits" and get every last possible penny out of us, but come on--most of their stuff is just given to them (from people like me) so it's not like they are going to take a big loss on the item. I get they have to cover their lease and pay the employees, but I hope they can show some politeness to their customers, especially when we are the ones providing them with most of their inventory. The items in this store in general are highly overpriced, as many others have commented. I saw several items priced higher than brand new/ retail. It's been that way since they opened. Other locations like Bowie and Crofton are more reasonable.

We visit Goodwill whenever we travel across the US and this store (#5259) is in the top ten! A large selection of women, men’s and kids clothing and shoes on display. The store is well organized and even has tags with size on it which makes shopping so much better. The store also had books, furniture, bags and lots of household goods. The only slight downside was that the fitting rooms were not used since Covid. But several people tried on clothing in the store. It is also possible to return items that do not fit IF the label is still intact. Highly recommended!

The best Goodwill store in the area. The store is clean, organized and it smells good inside. No thrift store bad smells. I always find good designer shoes and sometimes clothes.

Basically all clothes are priced at $5.29 (I found a designer top and Walmart/Shein all marked this price during my last trip). It’s more organized than the Annapolis Goodwill which is why I prefer it, but the prices really don’t make any sense, there are a lot of items that you could get cheaper than $5 if you just went to Walmart. If it weren’t for proximity to home, I would not come here. Also does not participate in colored tag sales.

There are two salvation army stores close enough to visit when out running other errands. Between the two this one has a much larger selection of clothing. Store is almost larger which is part of the reason but this one also seems to concentrate more on clothing and less on other items. Some commentors have stated prices are high but I haven't found that to be the case through numerous visits. Today I found a glass door cabinet I wish I had space for ...price $75.00. clothes are generally priced at $5.09 ( right in the sign exact amount). Some higher or lower. Picked up a couple pairs of Nike track pants (long which is hard to find ). Out the door $12 bucks as opposed to the$160.00 they would have cost, from the look, having been worn one time less and tagged new at a sporting goods store. This store also seems to be kept in better order and more organized.

Just visited the edgewater store and I do not know what started it but the associate began arguing with a customer was horrible very inappropriate behavior and I will not be returning to leave my money in such a disastrous place that speaks higher of there mission than is actually true. Might I also add she had a line of costumers waiting and watching

Not bad. Shelves a bit bare, but still a good store. Will be back next time we’re out hitting the Goodwill’s.

This is a magical collection of items that people have donated to this store and then you can buy them. In my day we used to call this a rummage sale. That would be when people from the community would bring their extra items that they did not want anymore and other people from the community would buy them once you bought something you could take them home with you.

Very unfriendly lady receiving donations today. Almost rude. Usually the staff is friendly, helpful and appreciative of the donors. This lady must be having a really bad day ?

Normally I love this store, but today I found a pair of leggings for $0.01 in the children’s section and they would not honor the price. I was not the one to price it and if it was on the floor they should honor the price on the tag. The woman who rung me up would not even scan the tag (it would of rung up at $0.01) and told me the price was $2. Why not honor the price? You get the clothes for free.

While I can sometimes find some decent items here, the pricing in inexplicably high. The store is also rather dirty and disorganized. They do not participate in the GW color of the week sales either. The Bowie store is by far away a better option - reasonable prices and clean and organized.

I love this store. Always find great stuff. I’ve practically furnished my place with GW finds. Get lots of compliments. Also find new items of good quality. Any time I’m in Edgewater, I stop by and never leave empty handed. Great customer service. Place is always clean and neat. Compared to some other locations.

The store is clean and well-organized, but the prices are way too high! It’s not even worth the trip- you’ll find better products and prices on any internet marketplace.

This Goodwill participates in the rewards program; however their pricing is on the high side for a Goodwill. Return to Oz, a consignment store down the road has better pricing on goods that are typically in as good or better condition. Also, the atmosphere is dingy and generally disorganized.

If you go in here you know how they operate. All the employees here are both helpful and very nice. I have found some seriously great stuff in here, it's just pure luck that someone didn't buy it before I did.

I drop off donations here, as it is quick and easy. and you get a receipt promptly. Sometimes I go inside, as you never know what you'll find. But, you must have time! You need to check everything that is used carefully. The lines at the checkout can be long. There are no public restrooms, and not even a water fountain. Getting a try on room unlocked can take a long time. So, if you want to shop: eat, use a restroom, and bring a bottle of water.

Located in a small strip mall achored with a Dollar store, this Goodwill is pricey and has more traditional or dated items to select from.Their men's options are limited and you feel as if you are in your mother's or father's closet. The parking lot offer convenient options and the store is welcoming. Items are organized, sorted, easy to find and the staff is friendly. Their dressing rooms are very spacious, clean and offer railings if needed. Overall not bad, but there are other stores that give this one a run for their money.

Okay. You can uncover a gem of a buy occasionally. Dome of the shelves are jumbled. The books should be culled more often. They finally straightened out the cashier line. Overall a nice facility. Nothing exceptional in the items for sale.

This place is clean. I have a problem with the fact that the owner is a multiple millionaire and gives very little of the proceed to communities and community members. I would consider going to a veterans or Salvation Army thrift store because more of your dollars go to serve people than Goodwill Industries.

Ethically questionable (look up goodwill industries). Staff definitely knows what they're doing though; kept a huge Halloween line moving. Bad parking. Great deals. Could exercise a bit more control over the changing rooms though.

As good wills go, this one is clean so far.. but it's new. It's the highest price good will around. Shelves are , relative to other Goodwill's, disorganized. It's low average compared to other thrift stores. Their nutty pricing drops it down a lot. I've found used broken things priced above retail there.
