Recently, our daughter's car was scratched by another driver in a parking lot. We brought the vehicle to Moody's and, without an appointment, were able to have it looked at. Furthermore, Travis took the time to buff out the scratches leaving our daughter's car looking like new. What a relief! Incredible customer service...every time. Highly recommend.
I went to York for an estimate and they wouldn't do a damn thing. It says my insurance has to do the estimate for they do any work. Now I'm going to Wells and they're going to do everything for me. This place sucks
I needed my cars hood replaced. Moodys was able to replace the hood and match my cars paint perfectly, look as good if not better than factory. Moodys finished work on my car in a single day and even gave it an exterior and interior detail!
Great shop if you need body work
The whole staff here is phenomenal, Travis initially helped me out and got me written up within 20 minutes. He went out of his way to make sure that I'd have a car on the day I dropped off my car And it was perfectly on time, The work that was done was incredibly well done and when I got in the car it smelled really good so that means that they cleaned it out. They washed it and the work looks like it never happened before, You couldn't ask for a better experience. Thank you again to the team here in York, Maine. I'll be back again in the future. Hopefully not for a while though. Accidents aren't that fun 😆
Dropped my car off and picked it up with no issues. Took exactly as long to repair as quoted. Rental met me there and it was easy as it can get
No issues with extensive damage I had from being t-boned
Phenomenal Business-My story: I was on my way to a kayaking weekend in boothbay which was another 90 minutes away when my bike crashed through my rear window shattering glass everywhere. I frantically looked up nearby body shops and found Moody's. When I pulled up to the front office, An angel named Josh Paquette came out and stopped what he was doing to spend the next 75 minutes helping me remove the contents of my trunk. He vacuumed , air blew and hosed down my items and the trunk to remove all the shards of glass. He then installed layers of crash wrap on my windshield. When I looked around their beautiful, building, I was struck by the cleanliness and professional body shop. All the while Josh was reassuring me that it would be safe to drive my vehicle and that he would remove all the glass. When he finished, he refused to accept payment and said he was happy to help. I insisted on at leasing paying him for his hour and he refused. I had to share this story because Moody's is an incredible business with super high integrity and they care about their customers. I would give them all of my business and that of everyone I know because they are truly remarkable-especially Josh. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The staff here was great in taking care of my insurance claim. The work was done was excellent and the minor issues of the distributor of OEM parts was met with compensation since the Chevy dealer for whatever reason chose not to give me fender flares. Apparently the reason was due to not being original equipment. Regardless, Travis did a great job with customer service and the staff who did the work did an outstanding job.
Great local collision center. My 3rd time dealing with an accident and my 2nd time with them. My 1st time I was directed to go elsewhere and it was an awful nightmare and my truck wasnt repaired correctly or anything like pre accident condition. My 2nd accident I chose Moody's and what a difference just like new! So this time I returned to Moody's! Friendly, welcoming and very patient!
The professionalism and completion of their work was above and beyond what I expected! Going from the ordeal of being rear-ended to the complete opposite with Moody’s in York was truly a very positive experience. My car looks near new! I would never take my vehicle to anyone else.
Edited on 1/7/19. I dropped the car off to fix the issues today. From my original post below I redact the following: The bumper gap is even. I unfairly asserted that it was uneven. The thicker bump out in the doors was from a prior repair and was not noticed but photos proved otherwise. At this point I am upgrading the rating to 3 stars based on their willingness to take ownership to the items that were actually caused by pr workmanship. I will update this again when the vehicle is finished.
Unfortunately I did not have a great experience here. My vehicle sustained damage from a deer running into it along the driver's side. The original estimate started with one week and then of course within one day of it being there they added 2 or 3 days to the expected completion. That'd be fine if the work was done with a high quality finished product. The finished product is far from that due to the following: 1. You can clearly see that the bumper has different gaps from side to side. 2. On the passenger side the plastic piece around the wheel well is coming off. 3. They created a sort of thicker bump out on the quarter panel and driver side door that doesn't match any other section of the car, this area is already becoming an area that clearly collects road dirt. 4. There are areas of runs in said area. 5. There is at least one area where the clear coat is rough and porous and clearly not blended. 6. They sort of cleaned certain areas of the inside of the car but left dust at the end of the partially wiped area, there are dirty finger prints on the windows and the odor that is present based on whatever sprayed in the car is putrid.
I will be calling when they are open tomorrow. I was going to hold off on this post but I decided not to because when you spend over $4k on something you expect it to be first time quality. This makes me suspicious of their other reviews.
I am impressed with how amazing my car came out! Mike even called with updates, which was a sign of how thorough and professional they are. I highly recommend Moody's!!
They did a nice job on my 05 CTSV and Andy is a pleasure to deal with but a short time later I noticed a small amount of rust over the left rear wheel well.
Assuming they would handle this project as well I returned. Andy was not in and spoke to the person adjacent to his office and was told. “ we do not do rust because we cannot give it a lifetime guarantee”.
A body shop not do rust since when !!

Fantastic and very expedient service after my truck was rear-ended by another motorist. While I don't hope to have to return for obvious reasons, if the need ever arises, they will be my top choice. Thanks guys!

Prompt, professional, respectful service. Extensive front left damage from collision with a deer; the estimated time was 4-5 days, but the car was ready in just over two days! Beautiful work, done with at least as much care as speed. Well Done.
