I have a 2019 GMC Sierra elevation 5.3 liter engine. I recently needed a muffler system installed, reached out to Lou’s and connected with Tom and Reily explained what I was looking for performance and sound they recommend a flow master 40 series, set appointment for the next day I waited for the truck and they had the system installed within 1 hour, these guys are extremely professional and honest, definitely priced right. I am very pleased with the system and their level of customer service. Furthermore 2 weeks later my truck through a service engine soon light for the catalytic converter system, I again reached out to Tom and Reily for there professional opinions, told them I was thinking of going Magna Flo high flowing performance cats vs OEM, again they explained the system in detail, along with the performance gains and the cost, I was sold. When I brought the truck to them and explained that I recently had some top end engine work done by a very reparable dealership I work with regularly,they had kept that in mind, come to find out when they removed the OEM cat there was a bolt that had been dropped by the technician by accident when they had the cat off and in fell in a 3” diameter hole and it literally burned a hole in the precious metals in the converter. This lead to the integrity,honesty of Tom and Reily reaching out to the dealership and explaining to them what happened, without even telling me, the dealership called me and are going to give me a $1185 dollar range credit for the mishap, they also were very respectful in handling the situation. Again I can’t say enough about these guys who are literally, exhaust system artists and much more. The complete system would cost me $2350 less the with the credit will be roughly $1165. Not knocking OEM parts in anyway, most likely would have $1800- $2800 more. Extremely pleased with the entire high performance system! Thank you Lou’s!

Tom is one hell of a stand up guy. Got me in incredibly fast for a quick fix before a long weekend trip and after returning home he got me a permanent solution that will last for as long as I have the vehicle. If you’ve got any exhaust work to be done DO NOT HESITATE to take it to Lou’s in Saco. They’ll get you fixed up in no time with quality work and ever better customer service 👍

The customer service communication and quality of what they do at this business is so much beyond five stars. I have taken multiple vehicles over the last couple years to have exhaust systems done and they have been so informative timely and amazing every single time not to mention I have never had an issue with any one of my vehicles after I have taken it off of their lot. Having been to stealerships Who evaluated my exhaust incorrectly, and played money, jumping games, The professional mechanics At Lou’s Showed me directly what the problem was took care of it within 10 hours fit me into the schedule and shaved approximately 45% off the price of the dealership. I would never take my car anywhere else. All of my brake work rotors and exhaust will always be done here. Incredible service. I was referred by Patriot Subaru for my 2013 Impreza to go to Lou's. I called Lou's and they were able to get me in right away. Fixed my exhaust pipe in less than 35 minutes and saved me over 2K. The two young men who waited on me were so nice. (One was from Falmouth, and one had worked at Lib's Dairy for their aunt previously-Sorry don't remember names!) They were both great. Anyone needing a repair on their exhaust must go to Lou's Custom Exhaust.

Tom did my full exhaust at the Portland location, back in February 2024 and did an amazing job I knew I wanted to come back eventually for a H pipe. Over a year later I went down to the Saco location and Tom and Riley did my H pipe for me. I’m super happy and they did a great job in quick time. Highly recommend this location and these 2 guys!!

Just had exhaust system replaced on my 2009 FJ cruiser. They did an excellent job very fair pricing in at 8:30 out at noon. Highly recommend this muffler shop.

I was able to get my muffler replaced the same day I called in less than an hour onsite. The tech went over the ups and downs of the stock system on my 2020 Tundra, and the expectations of the different available mufflers. The result was just as they described, and it looks great under there. I wish I had come here with my last truck!

No BS guys that know what they are doing. Job came in below quote, and was very well done. Got us in fast, fabricated the parts, and did the whole job for a fraction of what the dealer was going to charge for ONE pipe. Go here. You’ll get it done right and you won’t get hurt.

I went to get my car inspected and it failed due to a cracked exhaust. I am new to the area and asked the inspection shop for a recommendation. They recommended Lou’s and I am so grateful and happy they did. From my first phone call to getting it fixed the shop was so kind and respectful and made sure I understood exactly what was happening. Stopped in for a quick check of a small rattle in my exhaust and the guys had it right in. Told me it was just the heat shield and a couple minutes later I was on my way. They also let me know the exhaust was on its last legs and gave me a nice quote for a full replacement. Very honest shop! I've had other work done here and always been very satisfied!

This is the best place to go for any exhaust problems you have. Called and spoke with Hunter about replacing my resonator and was told to bring it in same day. Got there, he checked it out, gave me a fantastic price and fixed it right then and there. Was in and out of there in less than 1 hour. By far, the best place to go for exhaust problems. very pleased. brought my truck here, asked a few questions. and they where able to get me sorted out, replaced my stock exhaust with a 3inch cat back to a side dump. sounds and looks phenomenal they finished it up very quick. less then a hour i was back to driving my truck and it sounded 10x better. great over all service and great people recommend to anyone who’s looking to make there vehicle sound good and for a good price.

Riley and Hunter at lou's custom exhaust in saco were absolutely amazing. My exhaust broke on my way to work. On my way home I stopped in to see about getting it fixed. Riley came out looked at it, and said he could fix it. I asked when he could get it in. He said now!! Drove it in the garage and cut and welded a new piece of pipe while I was talking to Hunter in the office. Heard my truck start 15 minutes later and said oh no whats wrong? Hunter chuckled and said nothing he's done. Great work and great price! Thank you, guys!!!

Was referred here to get a flex pipe leak fixed for my car to pass inspection. The service is very good, timely maintenance, I was in and out less than an hour. They’re under construction so it’s a bit dusty and noisy inside but they had a cool motorcycle to look at while waiting. They have a 5 year warranty on their service which makes it reliable.

I wanted dual exhaust for my newly restored 78' Chevy K10 and the crew at Lou's set me up a solid S.S. system that is Awesome. Fair price, top quality done when they said they could. Would recommend using them if you want to be treated right. Thank you Lou's

I brought in a 14 year old Mercedes with a rotted pipe. Riley knew what it was when I called. The dealer's only option was a full replacement of the exhaust, $1800 in parts plus installation. Lou's repaired it for less than half what the parts cost. It was a great experience and done in half a day. Highly recommend this place!

Got my universal valvetronic muffler installed here as well as a secondary resonator delete. The guys are great and made sure I had a great experience along with high quality work. Highly recommend having work done here!

Needed cat-back and muffler replacement for inspection sticker - local shop wouldn't use new muffler I bought. Lou's Custom Exhaust had no problem using my muffler and replaced cat-back section within half an hour! Highly recommend this no-nonsense, get-her-done family owned shop.
