Not a good experience. They seemed friendly and helpful at first. Until it came to getting to work and actually helping. They are overpriced, and only focused on screwing customers. I almost wasted my money with them. We came in looked for a vehicle, did some test drives. We were looking for financing and they seemed eager to help. But we filled out all the paperwork and was told they would call the next morning. Nothing. Not a call or text, nothing. And its been a month and still nothing. But we found a much better car at another business. Don't waste your time or money here, their cars are way overpriced. And they think they are slick. They will try to get over on you any way they can. They will say the car is good, drive it, turns out it is not good. With the prices they charge you should be getting a good car with no problems. Guess again.

Nice selection of cars, but very high prices; probably the highest prices I've seen anywhere in Maine or New Hampshire over the course of three months searching for used cars. The sales person was very quick to respond when I inquired about a couple of vehicles, but as soon as I asked if there was room for negotiation on the prices, he ghosted me and I never heard another word from him. Not very professional; he could've simply said "No, sorry, the sticker price is the best we can do" rather than completely ignore me. I ultimately found a comparable vehicle at a much lower price at a dealer in NH. I would've preferred to keep my business in Maine, but not if it's going to cost me an additional $3K...

I HIGHLY recommend!! Back story....I previously bought a car from another used car dealership in Rochester with 'city' in its title. They basically sold me a lemon on a high interest loan that broke down twice (majorly) in the two years I had it. I was unable to trade out of it and sent away from many dealerships (including fi*st city). I was then reccomended to see Josh and Ryan at North Berwick Auto. They were attentive to my needs, listened and truly worked with me to find a fair deal on a reliable amd safe car for my kiddo and I. I was stressed for three weeks untill the day I walked in and they actually helped put me in a safe car that they can confidently stand behind. I absolutely reccomend North Berwick Auto to anyone looking for a used vehicle for themselves or a loved one.

Bought a vehicle from here, was told they would go good for any work within the 30 day grace period, Ryan even reassured me that if it went over the 30 days a couple days, they would go good for any thing that may go wrong. Wellll....i called on day 32 because the ABS lights were on. I called ryan to explain and he said he would call me back. He never did.... The vehicle i bought has a bad hub and ABS sensor, just 32 days after purchase and they wouldnt even offer any leveo of service to ensure the sale. I own multiple businesses and need vehicles all the time...was hoping to find an honest dealership who i can deal with for years to come, i guess honesty and integrity dont exist amymore. Safe to say, i wont be back to buy another vehicle from here.

Such an awesome salesman in Ryan and an absolute caring owner in Jeremy in charge of parts and labor, together they make the Absolute Best auto buying and owning experience in all of Maine!

Have visited on two occasions; to get my car inspected and an oil changed. The staff are polite and very communicative, they recommended a tire rotation and Jeremy took the time to explain what they saw and why it was recommended rather than just pushing it on me. They are very timely with scheduling and service. I also really appreciate their price breakdown on the receipt so you know exactly what you’re paying for - and it was very reasonable!

We bought 3 cars here within the past year, and the service team is amazing. Definitely a solid family run business that I am happy to have found. The people, prices and quality are all exceptional!

I have purchased 7 or 8 used vehicles over close to 20 years from NB Auto Center, always very satisfied with their service. I have also had those vehicles and some purchased elsewhere serviced by them. I have always found them fair and reasonable to go to for auto repair or maintenance services.

Bought a car from Berwick Auto Center two months ago and had a great experience! Ryan from sales was super helpful and friendly. My car battery died yesterday and this morning the shop was able to get me in to get a new one. I can’t recommend Berwick Auto Center enough, wish I could rate it higher than 5 stars!

About 20 years ago I bought a car at North Berwick Auto when they were just finishing their new building. We completed the sale on a sheet of plywood on two saw horses, with a halogen work light on a tripod, in a not quite heated showroom to be. It was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Since then I have bought all my cars here for repairs and service, new or old. Their knowledge, experience, service, honesty, courtesy, and professional demeanor rate 10 stars. The Stevens family, as well as all of their employees, are a credit to Maine and the Berwick area.

I brought my car to a different shop due to issues with my breaks. They informed me that I needed both my front and rear breaks/ rotors replaced and offered me a quote. I called North Berwick and they gave me a quote that was $200 cheaper. North Berwick had my full permission to replace both, but Barry called and informed me that my back breaks had half a life left and they did not need to replace them, saving me an EXTRA $400. Thank you very much, it really means a lot.

Ryan was fantastically easy to work with! Such a professional but yet made us feel welcomed and comfortable! Staff even closed our car windows when it started to rain. Awesome place, definitely worth a trip.

Decided to give North Berwick a try because I like small local dealerships, personally. I was really happy to not be immediately stalked by salespeople as I checked out their inventory, but nicely greeted and given space to peruse. I ended up falling in love with a Mazda CX-5 and Ryan went above and beyond to get me in it. I went home that day with the car I’ve wanted for a while. I cannot speak highly enough of Ryan and the staff at North Berwick. Definitely the best and easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had. Thank you so much!!

Low-pressure, great customer service, great pricing! I found the car I wanted online ahead of time and had no problem getting a test drive and they made the paperwork a breeze. I will definitely be coming back the next time I need a car!

I was looking to get into a car for 4 months, had zero luck, considering the prices out here at this time. I was feeling defeated, yet determined to keep looking. Pulled up Google asked show me dealers near me. North Berwick was 2nd on that list. From the word hello I felt a weight lifted off of me. Just knew Ryan the Sales Manager was going to get me into my very first car note. He had just gotten in a 2011 Chevy Malibu in MINT condition in my price range getting some tlc by the hard working guys in the bay. Ryan had not even put price sticker on it yet. I came down next day saw it, and fell in love!!! The next steps with the bank and approval, all that it entails was so very smooth easy stress free. Ryan is a genuinely great guy! Definitely not your typical car salesman. He is friendly, personable, efficient, professional. We spoke of life and music, conversation was pleasant. A breath of fresh air. If you're sick of dealing with car salesmen or women who try to shove a car in your face and harass you with constant calls, "other options" and false hopes, go here. From my first interaction here, I was laughing and confident in purchasing a car from them. I was speaking with Ryan and he cracked jokes, did as much as he could to get me a car loan and most importantly he didn't harass me about purchasing a vehicle from them. He let me take the car for a test drive alone, helped me through the whole process, even gave me more for my trade in than it was worth. The use 2021 Subaru Impreza that I purchased was exactly how Ryan said it was, no hidden problems or extra fees that don't make sense. I will be coming back here for my next vehicle and recommending friends & family to do the same thing!

I never give reviews. But I have to give credit where it is due. NBA was great to deal with. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and we never felt pressured. They worked with us on the financing and they went above and beyond to make sure the car was safe and in proper running order for our daughter. I am fully confident they will stand by their work. I would definitely recommend North Berwick Auto!

I drove 5 hours to go to North Berwick to buy a Chevy Impala , my sales person was Ryan Smith very nice guy he listened to everything I had to ask and was really patience with me . When I got home I had a few issues with the car but he helped every way he could even though I was 5 hrs from him. I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart what he did for me. I would recommend him anytime if someone want to purchase a vehicle threw them he went above and beyond what he had to their isn’t to many salesman that would do that. So again thank-you Ryan for everything .

Bought my first car in 5 years here and I am in love. They specialize in manual transmissions but have some automatics. I am definitely a manual person so thought this was pretty amazing. Not only is my car wonderful but the staff is truly one of kind. Everyone is so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I absolutely love this place, the people here and my car! They do not beat around the bush, tell you straight up what's going on and do anything they can to fix it at minimal cost. The owner Barry is hands on and both his son's work here as well. Love the family oriented atmosphere. I don't think I will ever go any where else.

I recently purchased my second car from North Berwick Auto Center. I kept putting off looking for a new car because I did not want to deal with the hassle and didn’t think I would get very much for my trade in. When I arrived, I was greeted by Ryan, who I remembered from the purchase of my previous car 4 years earlier, who was great to work with and did not come across as your typical car sales person you’ll find at most places. Ryan took my car for a drive and came back with an offer for my trade in that was well above the Kelly Blue Book trade in value. In addition to the great trade in amount, he also gave me a great deal on the car I was ended up purchasing. Overall it was a great no pressure experience that completely changed my initial negative attitude to a positive one almost as soon as I drove onto the lot.

True Professionals: HONEST, FAIR, & RELIABLE. I dealt directly with Ryan and he was a true Gentleman which is a rare breed in this market. From the start of the sale to the end, Joshua delivered on every step of the process and made the transaction as easy as possible. I drove two and half hours to buy the car and I would do it all over again! It is refreshing to see that their are still some honest car dealers left in the market. This place will be in business for a long time!

Very friendly staff, they really seem to want to work with you. I spoke to Ryan on several occasions, he was very chill and low pressure, which is hard to find in a car salesman. They were prepared to price match another dealer on a car that was already under book value. Definitely recommend!

North Berwick auto worked on my Jeep last week and it was one of the greatest customer services experiences that I've ever had. They had told me earlier that they thought I need to replace a part that was a bit pricey. When I took it in, they discovered that it did not need to be replaced and so didn't charge me for the work! Since I didn't need to do that I had them put on new tires and even that was less than expected because they shopped around and found my tires on sale!! Fabulous experience... THANK YOU N.
