I love taking my bottles here ! They are friendly and so fast ! It is fun to see them making endless shot after shot at blinding speeds. Well worth the short wait, they sell DVD movies too, they are used, some are not even out of the original plastic wrappers, I was impressed with the selections as well.
Easy place to redeem bottles and cans. Everyone friendly. Great way to keep trash off the streets. So much less trash in Maine as compared to Florida with no deposits.
It was my first visit there, I walked in and there were several workers, I said " hello" to everyone, but nobody greeted me back. I waited several minutes for someone to ask if they could help me (or anything for that matter), but decided I needed to explain to a gentleman "this is my first time here, I'm not sure what to do?" It turns out this very courteous & helpful man was a customer! I'm disabled, but I carried in all the bags myself, opened & spilled them out as required. There was a man (Jeff) who told me to bring some to his side, he's the reason I gave 3 stars rather than 2 as he actually spoke to me. I had approximately 30 full garbage bags of cans and was only paid $128. In Ellsworth I had 3/4 of that amount of cans and made the same, I won't be going back. If they had helped out even a touch or were at least friendly I would have tipped them for their counting. Actually, after reliving this, I changed it to 2 star.
I’m from out of state, so called in to find out what I can redeem and what I cannot. The gentleman on the phone was very nice and informative. Thank you.
This was a quick visit. They try to move quickly and get customers through asap, which is why I use this location. Not the best looking place, but they're friendly and get the job done.
