When battery in truck died after relocating back after yrs in Fl & it was COLD. They helped jump it & got a new one in immediately. So we could go unload the uhaul & start moving in to new home!

I had a Terrible experience renting a car. I am 65 and had a car accident the night before. At 9:00 AM I called Town Line Auto - the only available rental cars in town- and reserved a rental, providing information on my insurance, the name and phone number of the adjuster, and the claim # for the rental to be completed. Even though I live in the same town they would not bring a rental car to me. I was unable to find a ride to pick it up, there is no taxi service in the region. I did not feel well, but still started walking the 3-4 miles to the garage. A neighbor recognized me, and picked me up. I arrived at the garage a few minutes after 12:00 noon, and was told that the woman that does rentals goes to lunch every day from 12-1. No one else could complete a rental agreement. I waited until after 1:00; when she returned she had not completed the paperwork - even though she had 3 hours to do so before her lunch break. She blamed me for not knowing I couldn't pick up a car between 12-1, then blamed the insurance company for not being available to confirm the claim. I called my insurance adjuster on my cell phone, the same number I had provided at 9 AM, and then handed my cell phone to her so that she could confirm the billing. The confirmation call took about 2 minutes. The woman handling the rental was defensive, did not apologize, or in any way indicate that hours to be able to rent a car would be conveyed to a customer. The garage was being renovated, and there was no water, coffee, or vending machine available for customers. I would not have completed the rental, but a storm event was moving in, and the next closest car rental was 65 miles away. I would not use this business again.
George takes very good care of his customers. If you sit and listen to the people who interact with him ,you will understand why they come back time after time for the good service. I have never had to come back for any repair that was not done to my satisfaction and my truck is more than 25years old. Highly recommended.
They have done several repairs on both my wife's car and my truck and the price has been good and the job done right. I have also rented U Haul from them and that too has been great both times..
I called Johnson Town Line when my car broke down while I was half a mile down the road. They towed it for me, and when I called to ask what was wrong after not hearing from them for a week they gave me some big long explanation (that they obviously assumed was over my head) and said it was going to cost 1000+ dollars to fix. Well, sorry buddy you obviously don't know who raised this Maine girl because I knew for sure that wasn't what was wrong. So after spending a week walking to and from work (while pregnant mind you) I got a ride out to call out the BS and find out what was going on. I demanded to see my car after the guy tried to beat around the bush and say it was being worked on. Nope, it was STILL ON THE TOW TRUCK! So I had it taken elsewhere and the crook from Johnson Town Line is now trying to charge me and take me to court for my car sitting on a tow truck for over a week even though I paid the towing fee, the only thing he even did for me besides waste my time and raise my blood pressure.
