I'm in Missouri, my daughter was driving thru, spun out, went into a ditch and when she got out she knew something was wrong. Randy's took care of her, got her back on the road in a few hours. She is traveling nurse and had to get back for her shift in NH. Appreciate that they took care of my family!

Excellent service. Had front end aligned. Car rides like a dream now. Very friendly people, clearly care about the community.

I had them tow my car from my house to their shop the day after my brakes went, came in a week later, paid more than I was originally quoted for the tow and was charged $23 extra for paying with a card? I then went out and my front tire was pancaked with a large piece of metal in the tire. My dad was a mechanic and had been for my whole life +10 years, if my dad had popped a dudes tire they would have gotten a new tire on before the customer even showed up. I was given a plug on a hole that shouldn't have been plugged, not even a patch over the plug. Told people at work about it and was told that's sort of result is common for that shop. I went somewhere else to replace the tire, cannot recommend this place despite the adorable dog that was with the receptionist. Despite that I have to say everyone kept professional throughout

If I could give zero stars I would! I picked up my car Thursday July 31 /2025 after Randy’s had my car for two days. I dropped it off at night on Tuesday 29th to have the clutch looked into. I called the following morning 7/30/25 and was told the car will be ready to go that they had found a broken trans mount. Was going to fix that and look into the clutch. I called again at lunch Wednesday the 30th was again told the car will be ready to do no issues, my roommate left work 2 hours early to make sure I got to Randy’s before they closed. I called when he left work was told yes it will be ready when you get here. Called again before I left the house was assured it was ready, drive all the way into skowhegan to get a phone call as we are pulling in that the car is not ready. And it would be the following morning. Come Thursday the 31st didn’t get any calls at all the car was ready until we called and was told it was. So again left work. Drove to skowhegan to pick up my car. They charged me 571.92$ to helicoil two broken motor mount bolts and to replace/extract the two bolts. A helicoil kit is 30$ at advanced and most part stores! Anyhoo I was told the clutch was fine drive great now. So I paid and left as soon as I got into the car and put it in gear I noticed the clutch was the was same but I left I got 2 blocks away and the issue got worse it started clunking every time you shift So I called them was told to bring the car back Michael the desk boy. Asked me to take him for a ride so I did he said couldn’t hear anything and it was “driving” so it must be good! I tried to explain to Michael who told me before the ride he dosnt even work on cars. That I have owned 8 of these mk4 VW’s not one of them has felt like this Driving to which I was told well I don’t know what to tell you it driving. I drove it it’s “very fun” so you went out and had fun in my car? And I was completely shot down of my knowledge of these cars and was told why did you bring ur car here to argue with me? No I took it to yall to get fixed. But instead I made it less then a mile with out the same issues! Was over charged for work. Lied to that the car was ready I missed work my roommate missed work! And the cars still not fixed. After I was refunded the $ and told to not come back I made it a half mile down the road before the car became completely undriveable like the trans was gonna fall out of it. It was not like that before they got ahold of it the clutch pedal was just soft. So I had to tow it home yet again! The following day I got the car up on ramps and immediately discover the rubber clutch line that connects to the bleeder valve and the hard line off the body was wet along with the bleeder valve. So after being told they looked into the clutch they clearly did not or would have see it. They fixed my motor mount and took the car for a joy ride and used a quarter of a tank! And cleared my trip odometer that was last reset when I changed the oil. These so called “ mechanics” they have working for them shouldn’t be calling them selfs a mechanic! It’s a disgrace to the entire car community. So after be lied to mutable times, having my car drivin and beat on and broke. And being over changed for work I will never use these quack jobs again! The place has gone to hell since the owners son took over. 0/5 stars never again! Liars theifs and they will destroy ur vehicle and blame it on you and belittle you call you clueless! I provided photos of the leaking/wet clutch line!

I accidentally came across Randy's Auto after absolutely smashing the curb trying to get to Aroma Joes. I know, embarrassing. Dude in the parking lot 100% saw, laughed, shook his head, and lady in the drive thru told me my tire was super flat. And it wasnt just any regular day, I was a Mama on a mission. Picture this, it's my firstborn daughters 15th Birthday, we moved here recently, so she's already missing her friends, she's in a weird space where she doesn't really have any solid friends here yet and it's her birthday. Naturally, I want to make her day as special as possible, she's 15 now, it was time to show her the absolute joys of caffiene and a shopping spree on a sad day. We're not rich by any means, so we had been saving for a few months, knowing a shopping spree would be needed to cure the friendless birthday blues. Anyway, in my excitement for caffiene/retail therapy, I missed my turn into Aroma Joes, backed up to atempt it again, and still assaulted the curb with my mini van like it was talking smack about my children. I'm honestly surprised I didnt rip off my oil pan. (I pray to God my husband never sees this review.) Fast-forward to us getting our coffee, and being told our tire is flat. Fudgeeee. So I park and call my husband, tell him I have a flat. He's all "what do you mean, how?" Like damn babe, mind your business, I'm absolutely not going to admit that I don't have the capacity to drive and be excited at the same time. So I'm all like "idkkkkkkk, help" so he does his thing and directs me to Randy's Auto, it's right there. I drive over, explain the situation, and they are on it like white on rice. Gave them my keys, they brought it back, i didnt actually have a flat which is so weird because the lady swore I did. But they looked at it anyways, made sure my tire pressure was good in all 4 tires, checked my fluid, and literally didnt even judge the straight up choas of my mom mobile. All of this in maybe 8 minutes? Super friendly, super fast, and they didnt charge me a thing. I was prepared to use a chunk of our birthday money to get the car fixed so that we could make it to the mall. They said, dont even worry about it. Genuinely great people. We have definitely found our new Auto place for life and will recommend them every single time. As long as they can keep my curb smashing our little secret. 😄

So far so good. I haven't gotten my car repair yet but I made an appointment. Clean store front. It looks like a legitimate auto repair place.

For 50+ years, I've maintained my own vehicles. This time, I decided to have someone else to do it. They were able to accommodate my schedule, and they found a newer and better repair for my issue. Professionaly installed quickly and a perfectly reasonable price for the work. My experience was great.

I had a great experience with Randy’s! I was lucky enough to get the full Maine experience when the front of my car got crushed by a deer and my car was not drivable. Didn’t have another car in my household, I’m driving between 30-45 minutes to work every day, and I work in healthcare (so taking time off is no easy feat) - getting this fixed as soon as possible was necessary. Everywhere else I called gave me an estimate of 1.5 - 3 months to get my car into the garage, not counting the actual repair time, and my insurance definitely wouldn’t help with rental costs that long. Randy’s was able to tow my car the 40 miles to Skowhegan within 24 hours, and within the month I had my car back in great condition. Prior to the deer, my fin/antenna on the hood had been yanked out by a malfunctioning garage door and the dealership had quoted me $3700 to repair it. That wasn’t an option for me, so I just had the hole taped up and called it a day. When my car was at Randy’s, Steve at the body shop noticed the fin and did the extra work to find a solution even though it wasn’t related to the deer collision. While he couldn’t find a cheaper used replacement part, he was able to fix the fin with new parts and labor coming out to just over $500, which was amazing. I’m so grateful for how much they did while I was really stuck in a tough situation, would highly recommend.

After 19 years of doing business with Mike and his Dad I can say you won't find better service anywhere. Mike and his Father have provided my family with safety, reliability and honesty. His mechanics are top shelf and his advice is trusted to keep you right. There's a reason they continue to thrive and be the first choice.

Each time that I have brought my Jeep in for work, they go above and beyond in their work and fair prices. The auto body shop did such a spectacular job today, that she looks brand new. I appreciate their dedication and integrity so very much. I would recommend them to anyone that wants quality work, with the added assurance that the price will never be more than expected. I'm adding to my review as of January 6th of 2025. After multiple times of trying to get my shocks replaced under warranty by VIP in Skowhegan, the head mechanic there screamed at me and told me that he refused to replace shocks that were perfectly fine and not leaking or visibly damaged. Mike and I knew that the shocks were bad because the whole back end clunked, and it was obvious that it was dead shocks. I have complex PTSD and I'm autistic, and the crew at VIP knows this, but Brandon still chose to scream at me and wouldn't stop, while four other workers gathered around to listen to it. I started crying and couldn't stop crying, I couldn't do my grocery shopping, I had to go home and lie down. That was yesterday . This morning when I came in and told Mike what had happened, he told me that he would personally replace my shocks for free and give me the warranty that VIP kept refusing to do. Randy, Mike, and the entire crew at Randy's are upstanding and honest men. They have integrity, and they truly go above and beyond not only for myself but for the entire community. They are my guardian angels, and I can't recommend them enough. Thank you again Mike and Randy. I am forever grateful to you. God bless you all.

I don’t know what they think they are doing with alignments but it isn’t alignments. Had mine done & it was worse than before. Had to take it somewhere else. Also- don’t trust the 5 star reviews here, they aren’t real users. They are the shop manager creating email accounts to post them every time there’s a bad review to counter it.

Returning back to Waterloo Ontario Canada we had a wheel bearing start to make a noise around Bar Harbour. Got to Randy’s Auto Repair in Skowhegan the next morning and Mike squeezed us in the same day and replaced the bearing preventing additional damage and eliminating our stress. Randy’s Auto Repair saved our vacation! We were on our way to Quebec from New York when we noticed a grinding sound from our rear tires. Upon inspection, I noticed the rotor was grooved, figured a brake issue. We happened to be a couple miles from Randy’s so we stopped in. John confirmed that the rear pads and rotors needed to be replaced. They were able to make the repairs in less than 2 hours. John even drove our family to a local restaurant to eat while the repairs were made! Highly recommend their prompt and professional service.

Brought my vehicle in for a front end alignment explained to the staff that the vehicle needed nothing in the front end. It had just been going over it just needed the alignment to be done to put the front end into spec after speaking with one of the staff members there who assured me they would set the toe and, caster angles of the vehicle waited all day when vehicle was done he assured me it was done properly. It was closing time and I was leaving for a trip where I wouldn’t be back for a few days. Had to drive. The vehicle was very unsafe when I stopped to do an oil change , I noticed that the caster bolts were never touched. They had clearly lied about the work they did. Brought to a different alignment shop who gave me the specs to show me how far it was out of adjustment. Stay away from this place. They are a bunch of crooks.

They were able to tune up and repair my 73 spitfire after the prior owner neglected it for over a decade! Amazing folks, and the lil Boston terrier which greets you is the sweetest baby. 10/10!

Randy's got me in when I had an exhaust problem within 2 days. Quality work for a decent price. Will go back after trying to find a good garage to work on my vehicles.

I have used Randy’s Auto for a few years now and am extremely impressed with their response as well as their expertise is troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair. I was broke down and they literally had a wrecker within the hour to bring my truck in! Had it diagnosed within the next hour, parts on the way and had me going within a very reasonable time frame! And many other repairs they’ve gone over the top with. If you need ANYTHING done to your vehicle, look no further than Randy’s Full Service Auto.

Excellent service and very reasonable rates. I will definitely use Randy's again. I had my car towed down for a 1pm appointment, the estimate was done and repairs made by 4:30 same day.

My kids and I were 3 hours from home for a whitewater rafting trip when I got into an accident. Steve from Randys Auto gave my car a tow and understood I was in a difficult situation. They towed and repaired my car so that it was safe to drive home within one day. I was prepared to rent a car to get home but they offered to prioritize the repair so I wouldn’t have to drive back later in the week. I know this meant moving some other repars and I am truly grateful. These folks are the real deal!

Get all my bodywork done at the body shop here. Very fairly priced and great staff. Great work too! The mechanic shop does great work as well and always willing to take in various types of jobs. Was able to drop off my turbocharger for a cartridge replacement and wheel upgrade and got it done at a good price and next day. The shop dog that walks around is cute and friendly! Highly recommend Randy's auto

Randy's Auto has always been a reliable place to have your vehicle worked on , The owner is an honest hard working , wicked nice guy ,as was his father, and the staff are friendly and helpful as well. I always get quality work done at Randy's and recommend them to anyone in need.

Mike was awesome!! Did a great job on the alignment on my 78 trans am. He noticed it had a rough idle and slight hesitation. He said he couldn't let it leave his shop like that so he did a quick adjustment and it runs awesome. Thanks Mike. I appreciate the excellent care and service you gave my car. I do a lot of my own work but I will definitely be back if there is something I can't do or have trouble with!

I used Randy’s Auto years ago and was very satisfied. I moved and recently returned to Norridgewock, Maine and was in need of auto repair for my truck two times so I called Randys auto again and spoke with Randy’s son Mike who now runs the business. I was alittle nervous as I didn’t know Mike but his dad taught him well as their customer service is top notch, they explained everything before and after service, their prices are extremely fair and they NEVER take advantage of there customers. I can’t say enough about a family run business run the way all businesses should be run...with the customer in mind. I will worn you if you need work done call right away as they are so busy as they are the go to for residents of the area and beyond. Had work done on my car, Excellent customer service!! We have all ways trusted Randy's with our cars. This is the first time we have had body work done, and they did a great job. The car looks really good. Nice garage, would recommend them for all car issues!!

IGNORE ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS WRITTEN BY ‘FRIENDS’ Worst customer service, ever. I had an appointment for simply oil change and alignment. Everyone in the garage was hanging out at the desk, eating and telling crude jokes and ignoring customers. It took FORTY MINUTES for them to bring my car in, then another hour for them to do terrible work on my car. The desk people are nasty, unprofessional, and shouldn’t have the job if they hate people so much. Also, their dog was jumping all over me during my wait. I am allergic to dogs. I can see I’m not the only one experiencing this. If you are like me, and have to drive almost an hour to get to town, making these appointments means it is very important to have the work done on time. Rude, dishonest, and bad mechanics. Update: “alignment” was not actually done. Less then a month later, I took the car to another place and found that no work had been done, and the alignment was completely off, ruining my tires.

For a place that has 4.5 stars I would think that this place would have high quality customer service, but I did not have this experience. When Randy had a check to get my car fixed for over a week and didn't have the courtesy to call me to at least make an appointment. I had called him and he told me he couldn't get me in for a while with already waiting 3 weeks I have to take time off of work because my car isn't able to drive 600+ miles a week. Not very impressed now I'm out that money with him not returning it and without a car to support my family.
