I was camping at Peaks Kenney at Sebec Lake when I incurred a bad brake line leak- 2 of them! I had an appointment at Kenworth in Bangor to professionally repair it but first I had to be able to drive the 27' Winnebago motorhome 45 miles! The folks at AAP in Dover Foxcroft worked out all the options for a temporary fix, and let me choose what I felt was the safest. Then they patiently went through the steps required... explaining how to cut out the leaking sections, and replace the sections with new tubing, using 8 compression fittings to make it all secure. I have very little automotive mechanical experience but it is a credit to their knowledge and patience that it all worked fine and I got to Bangor ok for the new permanent fix. Thank you, guys, I did not want this beast towed! 10 out of 10 for this shop and especially their employees!
This place saved my butt trying to make it to my buddy's Camp for the weekend. I picked up something in my tire on the way and I was losing air and it was nice to pull in here and get a can of Fix-A-Flat and make it all the way. 👍
Ok so I have been in this Advanced Auto Parts many times and all the guys are normally so very helpful and pleasant. Today I entered and asked for help with some items and a very new young man did his best to help but really needed his coworkers help. I asked Mike for some help and he said he was busy walked by and went outside. It was around lunchtime so I thought maybe he has to take lunch at a certain time. Until when I was leaving with no answers I notice him sitting to the side of the building smoking a cigarette! 😡crappy customer service buddy I won’t be back
I went in to Advanced Auto Parts this morning and was assisted by Kevin. He was extremely friendly and helpful in finding the best windshield wipers for my car. After I purchased them he came right outside and installed them for me and disposed of all the trash. A+ service, thank you Kevin!
Super helpful! I was looking for a Rainx windshield wiper. I searched everywhere in the area. Some online stores, you could search for it, but it wasn't in any of their stores locally. It was cheaper in those stores except you would incur shipping charges. I called Advanced Auto and they had it! I purchased it AND they put it on for me. I was back on the road. Took all of 5 minutes. Start to finish. Thanks!
