While washing my new car, I accidentally got the keys locked inside with my 18 month old boy in there as well. Robinson ‘s showed up in a extremely fast and timely manner. They then opened my car very quickly and probably because of seeing how upset I was let me go free of charge. This was totally unnecessary and I would have loved to pay for the service but the kind gentleman just said that I could go. I would very much highly recommend this awesome Garage and their services. They really really got me out of a scary situation today. I could not thank them enough. In a world of hate and discontent they were a light of hope and inspiration for me today Thank you!!!

Broke down and ran out of AAA miles. I paid for my tow in advance on a Friday, mid day. Monday, my vehicle was not at its destination. Unfortunately the shop that was going to quickly get us back on the road needed the truck asap to order the correct repair parts. It set us back days..... when time really mattered. Maybe I'm a little sour.... but it seemed intentional in sight of us not choosing their garage for the repair. The time quoted was 2 weeks longer than the garage we chose to have do the repairs. That's just how "I" feel about it. I have had previous issues with AAA calls through Robinson (being put off for 36 hrs before service was complete) AAA call.... They kind of run the show for towing in the area.... so they kinda got you by the beans

Very fast response from Lincoln. Quickly got my car on the flatbed in Howland, dropped off in Bangor. I was in the garage in under 2 hours. Arthur was great. Good company during ride. This was a AAA responder but I’d call them directly. Great service.

I highly recommend this place! We got stuck in the mud about 45 minutes outside of Lincoln and Alex came to the rescue with the proper equipment to winch my 2500HD truck and travel trailer up to the road. Very professional guy and knew what he was doing. Thank you very much!!

After a friend unfortunately crashed my car, state police had it towed to this facility. The next day, after returning from work, I drove to the office to square away, and pay any accrued debts. The owner, informed me the police put a 30 day hold on the car. So he couldn't release any belongings, or accept payment. Fair enough. After I guess 30 days, my shot gun was returned to me by the officer, and I was aloud to go get the car. To my surprise, the owner then tells me I owe $2700 now, that I could not have any of my belongings until that debt was paid, and that, " I have no use for drunk drivers". Clearly assuming alcohol was involved, as if perhaps someone may not have had a license? Or who knows. Regardless, tools handed down to me from my grandfather, a necklace with his ashes inside, and several sentimental items, were stolen, because I refused to pay $2700 on a $1000 car. After the absolutly rude "drunk driving" remark, and the property held for ransome. I lost all respect here. Furthermore, some percentage of you income, comes from drunk drivers.... so ya, you do have some use for them obviously?? Not very professional in my experience. Criminal, I'd argue. You gave me her number... talked to her the next day. She didn't want to talk, she wanted me to admit to charges, in exchange for my shotgun back... and you told me 2700 I wasn't too lazy to wite this review, I sure as he'll wasn't too lazy to show up 3 miles down the road to pay the tow bill and grab my belongings. They were held for ransom.... you tried taking advantage of the situation.

I have taken my vehicle to Robinson's Automotive several times, and the entire staff is really polite and courteous and do the job affordably and in a timely fashion with a great big smile!!! Thank You for everything that you do, not only for me, but for your community too!!

My wife and I were heading back to Augusta from Presque isle and hit a moose around Howland area, scariest moment of our lives. When insurance couldn’t get a tow truck to us, the state trooper called these guys and they arrived within a couple of minutes. Super fast and very professional. Extremely helpful. 10/10 would recommend for any needs in that area.

Robinsons was fantastic! Rescued a panicked stricken me and my little dog off 95 with a blown radiator AND repaired it prompto to get me back on the road! Thank you ever so much guys! Between you and the polite state trooper, you are my heros!

I refuse to bring my vehicle back to them had an alignment done today June 5th of 2024 I got the car home and they didn't even tighten the rear laterals my suggestion is not to allow them do a four-wheel alignment on any vehicle ever they claim they knew what they were doing apparently they didn't and I have a good friend that works there makes his name look real bad sorry to write this review but I'm only putting it out there so other people know not to go to them anymore they are crooked and add more money for taking my wheels off and charging me when they were doing the alignment in the old days when they used to doing alignment if you had to take the wheels off it didn't cost anything why the heck did they charge me more the four-wheel alignment and stay inspection cost me $200 it should have only cost $115 I give them a one-star review for bad customer service they never road tested the vehicle after the alignment either so I feel they don't deserve my money anymore I will go to gemtech from now on the alignment guy or tech even said he knew what he was doing well apparently he didn't have a good day y'all

These guys are reliable and friendly quick and get the job done .. I highly recommend them and request them when use AAA !!

Got my cargo van inspected and a new set of tires mounted and balanced. They did a great job at a very affordable price. I've also had my car towed by them before and they were great to work with.

Got locked out of our car on 4th of July weekend. We couldn’t sleep all night worried whether anyone would come out to our remote cabin location or whether they would try and take advantage of our situation. I called a place and left a message, they never called. I called Robinsons and Josh picked up. He said things were busy and it would be a couple of hours. After 2 hours he called making sure we still needed the service. I advised yes and he said he would be there in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later he came down the driveway and within minutes had the car unlocked. He charged an extremely reasonable rate. Places and people like this always tend to restore your faith in humanity. Nice, friendly, thoughtful, reasonable service. Thank you Josh, for working hard on a holiday weekend so we could enjoy our vacation!!

My truck broke down on a Sunday, and I was able to get a tow and a ride into town right away. Friendly and professional service. They also offer car repair, which is obviously so convenient. Thanks Steve! I know who to call if I get stuck again.

Responded to my roadside via my auto insurance. They were very friendly and made sure I was safe as well. Were correct about the need to have my car towed. Thank you so much for the rescue!

They're always on the ball, but $50 for a lockout? And all he had to do was stick his twisty stick in my window and pop my lock open? FOR $50? anyways, thank God I have insurance.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The worst towing and customer service experience I’ve had in my entire life (I’m over 40.) After waiting in sub-zero temperatures for driver he showed up, and from the get-go acted annoyed that he had to tow my car despot me being friendly and happy to see him. I coughed once while standing outside waiting and he accused me of having COVID. I assured him I was vaccinated and did not have COVID. Regardless he made me wear a mask in the truck despite not wearing one himself, and made me ride with the WINDOW DOWN in sub-zero weather the entire way to garage (40 min) to apparently keep air fresh(?) I told him I was freezing but he would not let me close window. I didn’t mind wearing a mask, but to not wear one yourself, basically call me a liar, AND make me ride with window down to circulate air?? Is that a business policy? Is that even legal? Driver also told me I was supposed to arrange my own ride despite AAA app telling me that was only needed if more than two people were present; I was alone and the app told me it was not required. We rode in silence (minus the arctic blast of air blowing on me) for the whole ride. I follow the instructions given to me and act friendly and welcoming when driver shows up, and that was met with rudeness, accusations, and near hypothermia. After already having a catastrophic breakdown this driver added significant stress to my day. I was insulted, humiliated, and felt disrespected and certainly not a valued customer by any stretch of the imagination. I will never ever use this business again and am warning any motorists against doing so as well. Unprofessional, and frankly unbelievable behavior, and rest assured that AAA and the BBB are also being contacted, and I’ve considered contacting lawyer. The story is so ridiculous in fact, that I considered contacting media to expose. I haven’t written a review in years, and have thick skin, but this incident was far beyond anything I’ve experienced in my life. Date of service was 1/24/2022.

The worst treatment I have ever received from any business, both on a professional and personal level. I called to schedule a tow on three consecutive days and was told I could be towed each time. On the third day, when I called to confirm my tow time, the owner of the business canceled my tow order completely and said he would not tow me at all. The best part of the whole experience? Being cursed at over messenger by one of their employees, who canceled my first request for a tow because he didn't want to tow me to the only shop that I could find to repair the sled I was trying to get towed. Why would one of their employees care about where I wanted my sled towed you ask? Because they were the one who sold me the sled in the first place. A sled they said was in good running condition. A sled which now sits in my yard, sans tow. A painful and just needlessly cruel experience on every level.

I was coming back from a canoe trip and had an oil line let go. We were 4 hours from home. I limped over to a Napa to buy the part and the counter person said if it was his vehicle he would bring it to Robinson's. I called and they squeezed us in first thing in the morning. They even called a motel to get the last room and gave us a ride to and from the hotel. They had a nice attitude and did great work at a fair price. They seemed VERY honest and nice. THANK YOU!!!!

My car lost an alternator. I called Robinson's and the man was polite and understanding of my situation as I had to wait a while for a drive home. Robinson's towed my car and I asked them to do the repairs. The alternator was replaced in a timely manner and they worked with my schedule so I could pick up my car at a convenient time. This is the company to call in the Lincoln area.

I have had them both tow a car for me and do service and have loved each part. They are easy to work with and very helpful when it comes to questions.

Towed my e350 55 miles. Prompt, ontime, and the driver was friendly/professional. Definitely recommend.

Best towing service I've ever dealt with, truck, canoe and camper, they towed us all the way from Lagrange to Oxford Maine. Very polite and courteous.

I called AmEx for vehicle assistance due to 2 flat tires. Robinsons said they would come pick up my truck and me. Waited 30 minutes and they cancel leaving me stranded. Thanks for zero customer service ! Don't trust these guys at all ! Response from the owner I am sorry we weren't able to help you , truck breakdowns are hard to fix on holidays , again I apologise for any inconveniences and hope maybe we get the opportunity to help you in the future . Update Funny how the excuse for.you cancelling is different in your reply than the poor lame a** excuse you gave on Thursday! At least keep your story straight and consistent. Still poor customer service.

Had a flat tire in Howland. Right in the driveway to the 95er garage( not diner garage beside the diner)...the 95er wouldn't help with a 5 minute job. Call Robinson's they had a guy there in 20 minutes , tire fixed in the 5 minutes I thought and back on the road. Glad Robinsons dont treat people like the 95er does. I wouldn't take my trash back to the 95er...BAD BUISNESS..DONT KKOW HOW HE IS STILL OPEN...OH and the driver for Robinson's...TOP NOTCH

We broke down 3 hours from home on our way back from vacation and they came out after 6 and towed us from somewhere in Passadumkeag(they found us even with my terrible directions and me not knowing exactly where we were) to the bangor walmart! The driver was awesome and we will forever be grateful! Very courteous and willing to help! Great attitudes as well! Definitely recommend this company!
