We would highly recommend Russell and sons we had to have our truck towed almost 200 miles from Livermore Falls Maine to Pembroke, Massachusetts. Jake had our truck loaded up and ready to travel before the time that AAA said he would arrive at our house to pick it up. He was highly professional, very friendly and communicated with us a couple of times while traveling down to Massachusetts. He also let us know when the truck had arrived at its destination. We can’t say enough nice things about this company and Jake. If you have towing needs, you should definitely call them.
These guys are great, have come and towed me, lots of times unfortunately because I have an old Honda. Always very nice, very knowledgeable, and they take excellent care of my car.

Sometimes it takes them time to get all the way out to me because I'm rural area and they cover a large terrain and have other jobs they are coming from, but I really would recommend Russell & Son to everyone! 10 star customer service, definitely a good company to do business with.
The set up to get a tow was super easy. The driver was very polite and knowledgeable. He explained what he was doing and listened to my directions. I will definitely be requesting them if I need towing in the future.

They picked up my travel trailer in Bridgeton and delivered it to Vacationland Campground on 9/3/25 as promised. A pleasure to work with a company that does what they say they’ll do and done professionally. A+ service.

8/24/25. Last night I was broke down, AAA called Russell’s Towing at my request, Dustin came to my rescue, He was so pleasant and professional and reassuring and even helped me get home safely as my car was towed to my service garage. Thank you Dustin!

My suv has been in my yard since February . I finally called to have it taken to a garage to be fixed.
John showed up and the minute he stepped out of the truck he said he wanted a challenge. Well, he got it. I failed to mention that my suv was not at a very good angle and my driveway is not at a good angle either.
Then my experience gets even better. The suv was almost on and somehow it came undone and came sailing down the ramp. Oh well.
Second try was a success.
It was finally on its way. He even did me one better. I had a hole in my driveway by the road. When he came out onto the road, he scraped the dirt up right into that hole. Thanks, John.
Personally, I think 5 stars is too low. If I could, I would give this business and driver 10 stars.
Exceptional service and a proprietor that really takes care of his customers. You’ll be hard pressed to find a recovery company like this one. There’s a reason that there are no reviews that are less than 5 stars. A real stand up business.

Can’t say enough good things about Jake; There were a few snags with the AAA dispatch which was a frustrating process, but Russell and Sons were patient and professional throughout. Jake got us out of a very tough ditch with little to no damage to the vehicle and recommended a great mechanic to look over everything/make sure it was safe to drive back home (A and D Auto Repair, they were excellent but that’s a different review)

We are very impressed with the care Jake gave to putting our classic car on the flatbed. He explained that the owner rides with the new hires to be sure they know the best way to treat the cars (and customers). Although we hope we won’t need any towing services again, we will call Russell and Sons first, when and if we do.
Called today due to my car not starting, they were there within 30 min and also attempted to start the car. Put it on the truck and brought me back home. Really appreciate the professionalism and quick service. Will recommend and call again if I have any future issues. Thank you so much!
I have AAA, and waited over two hours, after explaining to TWO AAA people where I was and what I needed, for them to find me a tow truck driver to change my flat tire. I found Russell's online, but still had to ask AAA to send them. Fiiiiinally, the Google map pinpoint worked! When they finally got dispatched, it was a short, reasonable amount of time to get there. Nice driver changed my tire with my spare, and I was able to move again. From the person I spoke to in the office, to the driver, I felt like I was being handled by people who know what they were doing. I would definitely call them again..!!!
Best around wether it is simple fuel delivery or tractor trailer recovery and towing or uprighting a flipped over excavator or a bulldozer that is submerged in a swamp up over the tracks in pouring rain best around
