This is one of my most favorite thrift shops! It offers a wide variety of wonderful goods, and has such a charming atmosphere. I love going with my mom. My favorite things to get are jewelry, clothing, neat little figures, and dolls. They have the best little trinkets! I would absolutely recommend this to everybody. Everything I have gotten from here is precious to me. And the prices are incredible. So immensely grateful for the amazing volunteers at the heart of this lovely shop. Truly a treasure!
We discovered Miles Thrift on our first visit to Damariscotta in 2017, and we've made it a priority of our visit every year since. Every volunteer is a delight, and we never leave without finding a treasure (or two or three)!
Truly one of the best thrift stores in Maine while supporting a truly great cause. Everyone who volunteers and works there takes pride in their work and it shows all across the store. Great deals to be found all the time.
Great thrift stores that is always tastefully decorated! Folks there are super friendly and helpful. I am a regular customer! Never know what you will find.
Great thrift shop for a wonderful cause. I enjoy coming in and browsing. The downstairs basement has the best deals. The first floor is beautifully curated, but at a higher price point.
A little high on the prices and confusing sales (you really need to study the board and memorize all the little nuances of which floor/what color/what is included/what is exempt) but friendly staff and lots of merchandise. I did not leave empty handed!
This place… AMAZING! well organized, stocked with incredible merchandise, staffed by friendly volunteers who were happy to share about how this place is making a difference in the community. Schedule your days in this area around their limited open hours… it will be worth it!!
Needed cheap paint shorts I'd forgotten to pack, so had limited time to browse but will go back. A promising alternative to box stores and fast fashion.
Wow! I've been to a lot of Thrift shops all around this country, but this was a first! They even had an Easy Bake Oven, and the box!!
Definitely worth a stop, if at least just to check out three floors of unique treasures!
Treat yourself and stop in to the Miles in Motion Thrift Shop. It's a beautiful place to browse with creative colorful displays, reasonable prices with something for children to seniors! For example today I found a lobster batik tablecloth, a folding step stool for my grandkids to reach the bathroom sink, glass vases to take flowers to my mom, 2 puzzles with large pieces for my 92 yr old dad and a new top for myself!! There's furniture and kitchen ware too. Go and find things you didn't know you needed!

Attractively organised and lots of volunteers if you need help. Clothes, jewelry, furniture, and all sorts of household items. Contemporary, vintage and antique. There are always sales. No junk here! Benefits the local hospital. They have a pretty active Facebook page.
Prices are a little higher than the average thrift shop but it all goes to a great cause funding the community hospital. Housewares, decor, jewelry, antiques, clothing, children's section, furniture, old records. Very diverse selection and all creatively organized by color/theme to help you find just what you're looking for. Definitely a fun store to shop and always changing as new donations come in. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great community vibes.
Lots of things to look at. They have great sales. From the very old to not so old. A variety of dishes and clothing for men and women. A bargain basement and lots of jewelry. Prices are awesome
Miles has some nice items but fame has gone to their head and they have become very overpriced. They've taken the fun out of going thrift shopping. Even with markdowns they offer they're still too expensive for used clothing.
They still have about 1500 albums, but the good ones (60's, rock, pop, jazz) are all now in my collection. Lots of other cool "old stuff" that's fun to look over and most is very reasonably priced. Two floors of coolness. Damariscotta / Newcaster is an awesome small town with beautiful water views. If you're in Boothbay Harbor or Wiscassett, its well worth the short drive to see "the real Maine" before it becomes Wal-martized!
