Brought my Tacoma into Leighton’s after I had tried 3 different times to get a rear wheel bearing put on correctly by a prior garage will not name names. ABS/brake light would stay on after they replaced the rear wheel bearing. After the second time they said it was because the truck was old and rusted. So after the 3rd time and still same issues I brought it into leightons so they could take a look at it. Told me the bearing wasn’t in correctly. Made an appointment to get it done CORRECTLY and an hour and a half less labor then I was charged before! Along with doing a couple other small jobs on my truck through Leighton’s. Very pleased. I will be back!
Bring my car in for an inspection and tire rotation. They did an oil change without me asking them to. The oil was just changed at another shop less then 1000 miles ago then they stripped my lugnut key and blamed them for being seized on which isn't true because I had all wheels off a few weeks earlier with absolutely no issues. Most likely an impact gun was used and caused the issue. So at the end I get a bill that is 3 times what it should have been for what I went in there for. I can understand the lugnut issue because they are a pain but the oil change was their fault and should have not been charged for. Both of my vehicles will never go to this shop again.
This place is great. Just had moved to town never had been here before, did not know that he didn't take cards but anyways was a little short on cash and said we were good to bring it back another time. I forgot and brought it back like a week later but he was awesome about it! The work they did on my vehicle was great! No complaints, fair charge!
Leightons Garage has been servicing my vehicles for 26 years, they are excellent mechanics! They are honest, fair, and very reasonably priced, not to mention timely and organized!! Why would I go anywhere else?
I have been going to Leighton's Garage for about 4 years now.Before that I had a hard time finding anyone to do the amount of work I had on a regular basis. Now I only go to Leighton's. They take care of all my cars quickly and at a fair price. I am always treated well and their estimates are always right or less in the end. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
I would highly recommend this garage to anyone. They are very honest and care about their customers. After losing his dad, John took over his business, like his dad would have wanted and customers are still repeat customers from the past.
This Guy is honnest. I usually don't think when he charges me because it as as fair as it can be. The only issue is that he does business the old school way. You pay cash or check. No credit card. I personally love to use my credit card because I can plan my finances and especially cash flow that way.
