Called 6 times between 8 pm and 8:45pm before someone finally answered, then I was told to "hold on" and they hung up on me.
Called back and was told "uuuhhh it'll be 3 or 4 hours. I'll add you to the list."
Around 2 am and nobody has showed or called so I decide to call again.
Different person answers on the first ring and says there is no record of dispatch ever taking my call and "I'll call you back" with no return call by 4 am.
The team helped me with car lockout situation. I made several attempts with no luck to get the invoice, so that I can submit to my insurance company for reimbursement. They always say, they will send and never bothered to mail me the invoice yet. Good road assistance, but really bad customer service after.
They will say their going to ve there but never show. When u call they shrug it off like it's your fault. We prioritize police calls sorry. Was very disappointed on what I witnessed a frien go through. My friend also had them on speaker and to hear how rude and uncaring the guy was is just wild. Again I did not get the tow a friend did. I just got to witness the whole ordeal as a third party. As far as the tow when it was finally finished went well. But the punctuality and professionalism was poor.
I had a positive experience with Acadia Towing. George went above and beyond to tow my truck from Bar Harbor to Bangor on short notice. The price was fair. Thank you.
I knew better to replace my car battery before coming to Maine mid October, but alas I am in the middle of Bar Harbor with the car that won’t start on the last day of my weeklong anniversary trip. This company answered right away and came by to the rescue within quoted time. Got my car started and was able to get back to my hotel. Professional service and reasonable prices.
Great service ! Came in the middle of the night in a car with kids but to help me out! Highly recommend. The type of the service you will not find in a big city. ?
A huge shout out to George, who we reached at 8:45pm having struck a boulder in Acadia National Park. George was amazing, calming our fears of being stuck, he came and towed the vehicle back to his place as we called for a cab to take us back to our AirBnB. The next day we called him back and he once again took the anxiety away by arranging to work with our rental company for reimbursement. Never met the fellow, but certainly thank him for all he did.

Spoke to George quickly when we were in a rut and he was willing to come help us despite being so busy on a holiday weekend. Although we did not ultimately need his service the customer service was excellent!
Rude and disrespectful. Lied straight to my face. Driver Complained about his pay. Clearly unprofessional. Unprofessional appearance, looked like a biker gang member rather than a professional.
Went off the road in a snow storm so I knew the wait was going to be long. Called Acadia towing gave me an ETA of 5:30 am. 7 am came around and had to call back. In which it only took 15 minutes to get there. The recovery was however very professional and quick.
Really nice people, my car had problems about 6:30pm at night Thursday evening after the storm , when I searched up and call, some one pick up right away, I had to call 2nd and also prompt and patient. He was definitely really honest and answered all my questions, and he was so helpful. Hope I won't need their services again, but I would definitely recommend this company.
Nice people. Hate to write a bad review, but when they take your car (Cadillac CTS) off the truck and under the front bumper was CLEARLY damaged, and the driver immediately goes to default “that was there before. We didn’t do that. That’s rock damage” Lied right to my face! Totally disgusting way to do business. Even the place I had it towed mentioned “tow guys do that???” Call them for a tow, be sure and take pictures before they get there. Glad I did.
Really awesome service! We are visiting from New Jersey and our battery died. We were back up and running in no time. The guy that answered the phone was so friendly and polite! The same can be said for the repairman that came out. Cost was extremely reasonable. We can’t say thank you enough for helping us lose as little vacation time as possible. You guys rock! ☺️
First off they advertise on their website that they are a AAA Primary Service Provider. Which is false because they refused to tow my car unless I paid them directly. Yes, they towed my car but took them over an hour to get me because he took the "long way" into Acadia National Park. He took my money and yes did provide me a receipt. It unforourtanly got lost between Bar Harbor and South Portland Maine with the rental. I contacted the company and asked several times for the to please send me another one. I was told multiple times to email them. Never received a email back until I reported them to the BBB. Also they claim they take pride in customer service.. which I find incredibly hilarious.
Acadia Towing took care of us when our car was totaled in an accident.
They provide excellent service. Their people are helpful and really nice, as well.
