On Saturday, February 15th, my elderly mom and I attended a fundraiser at the old Garan plant in Kaplan. Unbeknownst to us, it started pouring down rain about and hour and a half before the event was over. We parked in the grass along with several other people. We were literally the only ones that got stuck?. After about an hour of being stuck and several offers and suggestions, I decided to call a wrecker. Johnathon showed up in record time and was so kind. He was professional and sufficient and concerned for our safety. I can't tell you how refreshing it was to have this young man show up and do a great job. Thank you, Johnathon. You are definitely an asset to Southern Towing.

Jonathan was truly exceptional handling my car.. and me having a panic attack. He managed to calm me, and took the best care of my car! The guy that takes payments and answer the phone is very rude and blames you for everything but doesn’t know the circumstances but he’ll sit there and yell at you when you let him know about how he treats his customers. I will never ever deal with this company and if I know anyone I’ll definitely tell them to run
Jon was very friendly and professional and pulled my sons vehicle from a ditch.was very courteous on the phone and prompt in getting at the site where the vehicle was. Highly recommend this towing service.
In one of my finer moments I thought it would be a good idea to drive a vehicle that has no business going off-road into a muddy field outside of Erath. Needless to say this did not work out well for me or my vehicle. I called South Side towing and within 25 minutes Jonathan was there to help me out.
My vehicle was stuck so far off of the road that even a heavy duty tow truck couldn't reach it without risking getting stuck itself. Jonathan went the extra mile and helped me track down a local cane farmer who pulled me out with a tractor that was as tall as my house.
During the whole ordeal Jonathan never had a bad attitude or gave me any grief about the situation I created. He went the extra mile for me and was a true professional that helped me out when I needed it. If you're ever in a jam I would recommend giving South Side Towing a call because the level of service, professionalism and the general good attitude of everyone I interacted with can't be beat.
Professional and courteous towing company- they took great care of my automobile, arrived in a timely manner and handled my insurance/roadside assistance paperwork.
Very helpful. I was helping an elderly relative replace a dead car battery. I didn't need a tow, just someone to remove the old battery. They were there in about 15 minutes and got battery out.

We live in Florida but my husband works in Louisiana. The car my husbands drives is in my name still so when it was brought to Southside Towing, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had a lot to take care of to ensure my husband could get the car back home. Turns out it was the last day before the tow company would be closed until after Christmas, giving us 3 additional days of waiting before my husband could be home which would cause him to miss Christmas. Not only were the staff so friendly and helpful to walk me through what I needed to do they also found it in their hearts to stay open just a little bit longer so my husband could get to them in time to get our car out. So blessed to have had our car in the hands of such wonderful people. Also, every item was accounted for including our Christmas gifts that my husband purchased for our son and I.
