Process was relatively simple, but attempted to be manipulated by their representative. The reason for only one star is the representative that contacted me came across as disingenuous. Started the process online and there was a quote generated with the exact same info I gave the representative verbally over the phone. The representative quote was over $175 under what the online generated quote was. I advised the representative of the online quote, and the representative proceeded to insuate that I was lying. I asked a legitimate business question ( I thought ) of the representative that contacted me about signing the title ahead of time and provided my liscence then sending them a picture of both, if the pictures were negotiable and could be used to cheat me out of payment. (Didn't want to be cheated by online scam. Remember, he already tried to low ball a quote to cheat me out of almost $200.) The representative got defensive. Was transferred to different people and had to answer the same numerous questions again, was really annoyed by then. (Noone communucates there I guess) The tow driver that came was friendly and was on time for scheduled pick up. Wrote the check out on the spot. ( a little concerned, online company check would bounce, I will find out in couple days if bank calls me) This post is purely to inform potential customers of my real experience. No bias or venom intended.
Fairly painless process. Had to go get my title notorized for the sale, but other than that, no hassles. Got the online quote, accepted it, got the title notorized then they came and picked it up and gave me a check. Customer service and the wrecker operator were very pleasant and professional.
I had a really good experience with Joshua Nevore at Cash for Cars when I sold my 2011 Honda Fit, which had over 150,000 miles on it, body damage, and a dead battery. Your entire process was terrible. I had to give the same info a description of my vehicle to three different people, even after providing you with a copy of the title. This was annoying and time consuming to me.
If anyone asks, I will certainly let them know of my experience with Cash for Cars.
Process was straight forward and very easy to work with them. I met the tow driver, and he paid me at pickup. Customer service was attentive and responsive at all times. Paid me way more than a local junker company. Highly recommend.

This was the best experience ever with Joshua helping us with the sale of our truck. Information and picture explanation of how title to be signed and notarized was sent to us. A clear offer was done in a matter of minutes putting the information in Copart website. After title was uploaded the same day to Joshua. A schedule pick was done the next day by Joshua. He made sure I had my Lot#, name, address, telephone number for dispatch written down. And was instructed to call and verify the pick up time. He goes beyond the scope of his job to make sure customers are good. Truck came on time to pick up truck and delivered my check.

I placed a call to them and they quoted an excellent price over the phone, then followed up with that quote in a text. They explained everthing in the text that I had to do for them to pick it up. I did my part and we scheduled a time to pick it up a day later. They picked it up on time, gave me a check for the price agreed upon, and towed it away. It was easy and quick. I am very satisfied!
Copart is not hard to work with. The process of selling to them is a little tedious because you must talk to multiple people within the company to complete the transaction. In my case it was three different people.
The reason for 3 stars is because they give you basically nothing for your car. I sold them a 2010 Mini Cooper S that was in great physical condition but had a blown motor. They gave me a whopping $422 for it. The car had been stolen and driven 550 miles away and abandoned. Unfortunately for me, I had no way to recover the car myself so the only choice that made sense was to dispose of it to a company like Coparts.
My car booked out for $6500 in running condition. For parts I estimate it was worth around $2000. I’m not happy about the whole thing but at least the problem is solved and the stress of the situation is gone.
I had a very good experience from the first phone call I made, to the company picking up my vehicle. It was done in a timely manner, I would refer people to them always. Thank you again for the great service.
