My coolant started leaking on my semi truck about 50 miles from this shop. I called them and was told they could send road service, but with a minimum 2-hour charge and full prepayment. I paid around $600, only for the tech to arrive and confirm that my radiator was leaking and that towing was required.
I then asked about the towing price and was told $340 per hour. In my head, that sounded like maybe one hour to reach me and one hour to tow 50 miles — reasonable enough.
They towed my truck, and I went to a hotel to wait. What followed was days of pure frustration. I called repeatedly trying to get a clear answer on when my truck would be repaired, and nobody could give me a straight answer.
Long story short, the radiator was replaced after 6 days, and the total bill for the radiator replacement plus a 50-mile tow came out to $7,071 — with about 70% of the bill being towing charges. Absolutely unbelievable.
Be very careful and do not fall for the “$340 per hour” towing explanation without getting everything in writing. The only positive part of this experience were the mechanics, who were professional, friendly, and clearly knew what they were doing.
Called at 12:40pm to get a tow. Waited until 11:42pm just to be told we were never coming to tow you. At 11:42pm, no other towing and recovery company was available. Absolute zero communication skills. Driver in the wrecker sounds like he's missing a few braincells as well after I was told by him that he's almost here and just has to turn around. Avoid this company if your a owner operator stuck, they will lie to you.
They helped us fix a coolant leak during a storm, which we really appreciated. The price was higher, but reasonable for the winter season. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they’re always very busy. Even when calling to make a payment, you’re often rushed because they need to take other calls, so you have to explain everything very quickly.
I was broken down moto out of gas on Greenwood & your employee Quinton stopped to see if I was ok. I said out of gas. He offered to go back to the shop, get a gas can, and then go buy gas & bring it back to me. I said I had no money. He said no problem. He returned with gas, a bottle of cold water & gave me $5. Gerald's has my loyalty forever!
The BEST towing company! From Quinton coming and towing my vehicle after I wrecked to Justin helping me at the yard helping me at the yard get stuff out my vehicle , and Angel at the office! Everybody was so helpful and sweet. HIGHLY recommend this company!

Be careful with those guys They will charge you triple what they agreed on I have called them asking for a tow truck to take me out of a ditch. She sent me quote of about $600 after that someone came by name Jerry he did the service took him about 42 minutes and 39 minutes of that. It is just fixing his own truck for some reason his friend was not working then he started working on my truck, I took it out of the ditch then he was asking me for $2200 for his service. I told him I have talked to someone In your company before as she told me it's about $600 $He would like no she's mistaken and I have to have $2200 Then he was telling me as long as I'm standing here beside you, Your price will raise up so it was not a professional business and I did not like the way those people do work so I do not recommend it and by the way I have everything documented they're Dispatch estimate and he's price of $2009$
Fantastic service. Angela has been helping me since my 87 year old uncle was in a wreck. She was extremely kind. Justin helped me in the retrieval of something off of the truck that I couldn’t get myself. He wouldn’t even take a tip just wanted to be kind.
Mr Mark was the most kindest man I have ever met in my life. He was sent out to fix a belt on my semi truck and he came out to make sure it was just a belt and not anything else. He Drop me off to the pilot so I could take a shower because it was so hot outside, I was sweating so bad. Then he went back and got the part and came back immediately and started working on my truck. My truck is fix and I’m back trucking…Thanks so much Mr Mark you are truly a blessing

Fast and friendly service. I was unsure about my car being towed, but thanks to Gerald’s Towing I was put at ease. Not only did Quinton arrive on scene within 30 minutes of my call ending but he worked fast and made it look effortless, all while having a friendly and positive attitude!
On 6/3 we were traveling on I-220 and our trailer bounced and came off the car and went into the ditch. We called Gerald’s Towing and we’re SAVED! From the understanding and compassionate Angel to the manager Mike who helped us find a Uhaul trailer. They all went above and beyond to get us back on the road to our vacation! Penske told me it’ll be 90mins. So I. Called my wife to talk while I waited. From 10:30 until 12a so I thought. Lo and behold “Kole” (G.Son of founder) pulled up in less that 30mins from when the call ended!
At 36 degrees, He hopped to it like it was a summer night! Had us hooked up to the tow rig & rolling 30 miles in before the original time when he was supposed to show. He’s a beast & this is including him dropping the driveshaft! “Kole, is Cold, even in the COLD!! Thanks Gerald’s Towing!

Driver came out and was very professional and insured that I knew of any possible damages that could be caused by a difficult recovery. And then completed the recovery with no damage whatsoever. Very happy with their response time and thoroughness
