I live in Texarkana and won't go to the uapi here anymore because the staff there are unprofessional smart Alek disrespectful and rude. Always trying to put the screws to you when you get to the pay window (ohhhh you wanted a radio with knobs and buttons? That'll be 20$ extra for the knobs) or something similar to this. I have purchased a front bumper from the location in Shreveport and had a good experience. They pulled the part and shipped it to the Texarkana location and were very straightforward and for a good price. If only the guys in the Texarkana location could be like the guys in the Shreveport location.
I was able to purchase a rear bumper and right taillight from a 2017 Hyundai Elantra Se on a car there at the U pull it yard for a total of $45. My car was rear ended on the left and fixed on the right.
I called and called and called. So I drove over to find 4 men just standing there. Ugg. Once inside 1 of the men were friendly but did not have my part.
It's hot, but I still managed to find and get the parts that I needed. The guys at the exit window were a little short, but like I said, it was hot, and everyone was ready to go home,l .
Great place for the DIY mechanic for "used" parts. If you know what you need and what is worth using "salvaged/used" parts, you can really save some time and money. They have an "Inventory" link on their website to check for vehicle availability and locations, and have several salvage yards throughout the ArkLaTex.
Mane this place stank! Either someone forgot to wash they a$$ or they be fartin up in there! If u got a sensitive nose u is gonna want to mask up fr. That big guy cute tho
The place ,or junkyard, itself was ok, but the staff was not helpful at all. Infact, they are down right rude !! This is true of 2 of the UAPI junkyards I have been to. It's just my opinion, but I don't think I will be recommending UAPI.
Had what I needed pleasant crew to deal with. But do suggest to call in advance to make sure your donor car is there it may be at a different location.
My boyfriend and I went to look for a part for his radiator and the employee talked to him racist and unethical. Will never use them again. Then was told he messed up a radiator when in fact he couldn't tell us what kind of car the part came off of

I bought a truck from them not even a week later something went wrong so I called thinking that the would help me out they didn't do anything told me that I should have gotten a warrantee which they forgot to mention when I was buying the truck........ That's really bad business please be aware and check the cars you guys are buying from them
This is my 3rd time getting beat out of $20.00. I thought after 3 years of not dealing with this particular location they would have gotten better. I bought and paid for a radiator to be pulled and the young man who pulled it just totally destroyed it. I took my pictures and ask if I could run water through it to check for leaks. He said no you got a 30 day warranty but I asked if I take this radiator outside the gate it's your word against mines right. He said just leave it and get your money back but not the 20.00 because that's my labor. I replied thank you sir have blessed day but never will I ever go to the one Aero again.
They have a few good junk cars but when it comes time to leave and close they don't tell you till it's one minute left before you have to leave. They need to blow a fog horn 15 or 20 minutes ahead of closing to let people gather their tools and get what they need prepared to go to the counter. Instead they chase you down like the SS and holler at you to get out of there in 2 minutes especially the old guy with the white hair, he has no sense of humor at all, he needs to learn enjoy life a little. And be kind to his customers cuz they are the ones who pay the bills. I'm a resident who does love to go to the junkyard. Maybe the old man doesn't realize he works in a junkyard not at Macy's in New York City. Shreveport and the junkyard. Happy new year old man at pipes U-Pull-It you made my day because anybody is unhappy as you makes me realize how happy I am.
Guy at the counter told me where to go to find the part I needed. I walked three isles to find the car it would've been on, but it had already been taken off. I started looking on all the other Lincoln and Ford cars for a similar fitting piece. They were all gone. Basically a get in and get out place.
