The last three times I went to sell scrap there my pay was way off. I’ve been using them since 1993. I work too hard to have my pay taken from me. I don’t care if I have to drive to Dallas. I will NOT ever bring anything there again. I would like to add exactly why I feel this way. I know exactly the weight of how much I brought before I went. While getting ready to weigh one associate had me go check in while the other took my highest paying scrap and placed it elsewhere for them to cash in on after the fact. I had over 79 lbs of yellow brass and I had 15 lbs of red brass. I got paid for 12 lbs of yellow brass period. That’s why I’m very pissed off and will not go back there. Scrapping is hard work and very time consuming if you want to get paid right. And I take the time to make sure it’s right. What they have done is totally messed up. And I will not do business with them again. Period.
Scammers. They shave 5lbs off the weight to rip you off. On top of that they're very rude and you gotta sit there and wait for them to finish their lunch break which they exceed by a few minutes while you sit there and wait for them to get done on their phone call from now on we'll just be throwing all this stuff in the garbage. It's literally not even worth the drive
They are extremely helpful and polite. These people want your business and they will not take advantage of you. If you like being " dun dirty" go to waskom, if you want to treated right come here!
Lady at counter seemed to hate her life. Ripped us off on 4k lbs of aluminum. Low prices. Will not go back. Unexperienced machine operators. They were crushing Freon canisters with Freon in them. Truck driver was smoking near gas tanks. Don’t go here. Go to CMC much better, cleaner, and professional.
Very interesting experience... the lady didn't like that one sheet of wood that was attached to something, so beware! It was cool to watch the machines working too!
The woman working behind the desk that pays has been rude Everytime I've went there . Which has been often over a period of at least 5 years .. they don't clean there scales and underneath them like they should. I've felt that they have paid me less than I should have gotten quite a few times..... And I felt this way because I knew what my load weighed and they said it was less than what it was...
