I don't even know where to start For an alternator and pulley replacement they charged me 909$ This place will rape your wallet and then there was a black mechanic I think that worked on mine and he didn't know what he was doing he left a wrench in my engine bay that fell out while I was going down the highway Didn't air my tires up to even pressure which is a pretty standard service I'm an active duty airforce member I'm a b52 mechanic and due to the war going on in Iran we were on 12 hour shifts I just didn't have the energy after work when my alternator and pulley was removed my ac stopped working because they didn't reset a code Id recommend using YouTube and fixing your vehicle yourself or going to red river auto mechanic the prices for the poor quality work that was done is just insane I can't believe the mechanic that worked on my vehicle still has a job I thought you had to be competent and know what you're doing but I guess not he probably watched YouTube to fix it
I moved from Minden and was going to make the drive to Browns Service Center from Haughton when I moved. I was thrilled when they opened this service center near me! Always wonderful service and kind service people. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I took my car there on on 9/15/2025 I talked to the customer representative Deon, told them that my car has been overheating and I needed a diagnostic on it. Also told them that I just replaced my radiator cap and thermostat and flush my radiator. I Left it there with them. a couple hours later they called me stating that they could not continue with the diagnostic because I had a bad thermostat. I told them that I just replaced the thermostat and I would like to know if there was anything else wrong with my vehicle. They stated that they couldn't continue with the diagnostic until I got a new thermostat in the vehicle... so out of curiosity I asked them how much a thermostat replacement would cost and they quoted me $479 for a new thermostat Plus labor and coolant. I told them that I would just replace my thermostat myself since it was a 10-minute job!! after I got my car from Brown service center. I took it home and tested my thermostat and there was no issue with it.... While I was there, I also asked if there was any other test that they did on the vehicle other than just tell me I had a bad thermostat. I wanted to know if they ran codes or if they did a bumper to bumper diagnostic. They told me that they did not do any of that mind you. My car is also leaking oil and I have multiple lights on my dash. I figured for the $135 price for a diagnostic. They would be more in-depth inspection on the vehicle than calling me and telling me they cannot continue to run diagnostic until I fix an already working thermostat.. I would not recommend this place or at least know what you're going in for So you don't get screwed over. I gave them two stars just because after all my questions and getting little to no answers about anything, they decided not to charge me the $135 for the diagnostic.
In and out quickly and very affordable. I was very impressed with how me and my vehicle were treated. I hope I don't have to use them again but I would recommend to anyone els in town and I would come back again.
I wanted to give a shout out. I was in the process of moving when I came in on a Saturday after 1 pm Shawn had one of his guys stay to get us back on the road. I really appreciate Shawn Deon and the crew. We finally got situated and wanted the to know that they made a lasting impression on me and my family. Highly recommend!!!!
I went here for an oil change. The oil change tire rotation took a hour and 45 minutesThey put the wrong oil in my car and didn’t use the correct amount of oil. They also rotated my tires for “free” then my steering wheel began vibrating 10 minutes after I pulled off.
I want to give a shout out to some amazing folks up here who helped me with my vehicle. I did some work on my vehicle and was still having issues so I had them look at it. They were fantastic, fast for being backed up, and my car is now running perfectly. I appreciate them helping me out immensely and will forever be thankful.
A+ service. Had a flat on one of my trucks. Pulled right in and they jump to it. Thankful for places like this are still around. Locally and family owned are the best.
