On a recent Sat. we were driving from MN to FLA. We encountered car trouble on the interstate near Henderson, KY. We were able to limp into Max's Gas Station where Diana, Store Mgr. put us in touch with Stinnett Truck & Towing. The repr. worked with me and Justin from Stinnett towed our car to Cadiz, KY to Home Town Auto & Truck Repair. The owner, Tank Mason diagnosed our problem, explained to us what needed to be done and explained how to keep going. We were able to reach FLA without any additional problems thanks to Tank. We are extremely grateful to Tank for working with us on a Sat. and getting us into his shop before closing for the holiday weekend. He saved us from incurring costly expenses and several days of waiting for service, etc. He even called us a few hours later to make sure we were okay. We highly recommend Home Town Auto and Towing in Cadiz and Stinnett Truck & Towing in Henderson. Bless them.
This placed charged my son almost $800 for a 2 mile tow and weekend storage fee. He was only 17, told us we are in the business to make money and our equipment cost. My husband posted a review with details they responded by apologizing and saying call us. We called thinking they might try to make it fair and reasonable. I told them who we were, they hung up.
Had a wreck 2 miles from Hometown towing on a Friday night. Went Monday to pickup and the bill was almost $800. When ask about being over charged. The owner said we are business to make money and this equipment cost a lot. A regular tow is $130 but the recovery and weekend storage fee is why it cost so much. Taken advantage of 17 year old in a bad situation shows this place is shady.On Dec. 18 they responded to my post above: Saying sorry, give us a call. I did call, told him who and why l was calling. They hung up.
Mark was amazing! He came out late on a Sunday night to fix two tires on my enclosed trailer. He did this all with a fractured hand. He turned a night from hell into a happy ending. We made it home safely to Georgia. He was truly a blessing. Thank God for a compassionate business built on hometown customer service!! I will forever be grateful! Thanks guys!
They found my problem,kept me informed of what was going on,got the necessary parts to fix my car and ride along test drive after. I was overwhelmed how much better it ran. Thanks Hometown Auto

Had a leaking tire from a bolt, found this place and pulled in. The guys were able to plug the tire where we sat, and we were on our way in less than 5 min. Awesome guys!!
Don’t rent a U-Haul truck from them. Spoke to someone that said they’d be here Saturday morning after 8am to get us the truck we reserved, got here and nobody is here. Google says open at 8am and the sign on the door says open at 8am. Obviously they’re not open on saturdays.
My 98 Nissan Pathfinder died out on exit 56 and Malik towed it back to the garage and was an obviously well lived guy around town. Tank had the problem diagnosed quickly and scoured the area for parts. When they could not be found he was able to get me a ride to the nearest Red Roof. After it was repaired he had us on our way with some advice of what else might break soon.
Had brake troubles back in April on my way to Utah. Couldn’t have chosen a better mechanic to repair my brake line on my 86’ Chevy bus, the guys came in early and had me on the road in a couple hours, thank you so much Mike and the whole crew! Hometown Auto is a dream team! ?
They are the U-Haul dealer in Cadiz. I called to get a appliance dolly and the woman that answered the phone twice was rude. tried through the app. And Uhaul.com I could not get any help. Called the U-Haul in Hopkinsville on Fort Campbell Boulevard got one the next day. I told them the problems they give me one heck of a good deal for two days. If you need anything, just go up there in Hopkinsville.
Last week, I found myself stranded without transportation. I called Hometown auto towing and repair. They gave me excellent service. My car was repaired the same day and for a good reasonable price. These great people went above and beyond what I expected. Thanks to you all for such friendly and wonderful service. I give you 5 stars and highly recommend you to everyone in the future!
Lifesaver! Tank was my salvation when I got a punctured tire during a nighttime rainstorm. This was in the midst of my cross-continent roadtrip. Tank made sure my car was fit to keep driving and was the reason I was able to complete the drive safely. The delay from the punctured tire actually worked in my favor, since it allowed for a seredipitous meeting when I stopped off in Salt Lake City a couple days later.
On my way home to St Louis from Nashville, I stopped to get gas in Cadiz, Ky. My car would not start after I filled up. It was 4:58pm on a very cold day. Hometown was recommended by the gas station attendant. I called them and in about 15 or 20 minutes they were there. They were able to repair my car on the spot, which is not typically the case. He had me follow them to their shop. He wanted to scan my car to make sure it was ready to continue on the 250 miles journey. I did. After scanning he determined the problem and solved it. After paying a fair price, he sent me on my way. They stayed late to help me. I want to thank Tank and his crew for their help that night. anyone who lives near, this shop it should be your shop.
I was driving through Cadiz and noticed I had a screw in my tire. I stopped by this shop, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating! The team was super friendly and had my tire patched quickly, getting me back on the road in no time.
The service was efficient, professional, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this auto shop for anyone in need of quick, reliable service. Five stars all the way!
Owner Tank is the nicest guy! He went over & above to help us as a deer had run into our vehicle on the Interstate. We were in a time crunch traveling from Florida to St. Louis Mo. to our son’s wedding. He arrived to tow our undriveable car in less than a half hour. Once at his shop he made multiple phone calls trying to find us a rental to no avail. Then he got us a ride to St. Louis at half the cost, we were able to leave quickly to get to St. Louis in time. Tank made a very unpleasant situation bearable made us feel like family with all he did for us. Great shop, great owner who truly serves all who come his way as if they were family. Had to replace the engine starter on my Tundra. Called for a tow to the dealer but they said they could do it. I gave them the job and they had it done in about 5 hours. Saved allot of money and knocked it out the same day. Great service and price.
Traveling in the area when had a flat tire. Owner picked us up, brought us to the shop, fixed the tire and had us back on the road in 30 minutes. Amazing down home service!!!
Highly recommend! We got a flat on the interstate which happened to be about 20 mins from their shop on a Sunday. Being 6 hours from home, we were relieved when they answered and told us they would find a solution to get us back on the road. They happened to have the tire we needed and came to get our wheel, replaced the tire and returned to put it back on. It may not sound like a big deal but they saved the day and also tried their best to help on pricing! Great service and a friendly attitude really helped put us at ease throughout the process. Again we highly recommend to anyone in the area give them a call first!
We had a problem with our exhaust system just outside of Cadiz on 6/8/24. We were able to get to Hometown Auto Repair just before 6 pm. The incredibly kind tow driver met us there & checked out the car. He gave us peace of mind to continue on our travels after ensuring that while loud, it was safe to drive. Thank you so much!
Not a person to do reviews but this one I had too, first off major thanks to the man tank for taking care of me in the way he did. Not only did he help me get back on the road, he ensured I had the right equipment to get back home and continue my move from Jacksonville FL, to Colorado! His honesty and professionalism was outstanding, allowing me to know my options but also what he recommends is best for me. He has a board in the office room saying something along the lines of “we don’t want to cost and arm and a leg we want to help the best we can” and his shop is true to that! Thanks again to tank and his crew for the support and friendliness they all provided!
This was the best auto shop experience I have ever had! I am a female who lives about 5 hours away. The staff here went above and beyond to make sure we got back on the road safely. I honestly would drive the 5 hours to have them work on my car. So. Impressed. JT & John - you deserve a raise today!!
I would highly recommend Hometown Auto to anyone in this area! I woke up to a flat tire at the end of my trip and needed a fix quickly. Since they offer 24 hr service, I didn't have to wait until 8 am to get assistance. They answered the phone right away and promptly sent Mark to my aid! He did an excellent job and was very personable. Luckily, I didn't need a new tire, only a patch. I was offered a very fair price and speedy service! Excellent place!
I would give 10 stars if I could! Most amazing guys EVER!!! As we were on our way to Tennessee from Minnesota a wheel bearing went out on our truck. Stranded in Cadiz with 2 kids we were blessed to find a business card at Mobile for Hometown Auto & Truck Repair. A business card put there just 20 minutes before! Even though Tank was off duty, he let his guys at the shop know and within 45 minutes we were picked up with a tow truck and dropped off at a local hotel! The driver was awesome at helping two Minnesotan's lost in Kentucky find a nice place to sleep! Bebo went in at 5 am on Sunday to fix our truck and get us back on the road! We weren't far from losing a tire on a highway with our precious cargo, thank you HOMETOWN, you saved our lives and our vacation!
