Woke up to a flat steer tire this morning at a truck stop a couple of miles down the road from them, called them up, they showed up real quick, took less than 10 minutes to do the job. Quick and easy, I’m back on the road at a reasonable price. Thank you, guys!
Shoemakes provides the best repair services I’ve found. I’ve had them make repairs to my truck twice both with the problem fixed right the first time quickly and efficiently. They’re extremely knowledgeable and provide excellent customer service. I highly recommend them hands down they are the top of the line in the K.Y.
Great company great people, I'm an otr truck driver I broke down about 10 miles out of town, there was an officer pulled up really great guy as well sat with me until these guys showed up, they didn't even hook me up just jumped my truck and gave me enough juice to get back to the shop and upon arrival found out quickly it was the alternator had me fixed and ready to roll within two hours. they are a really family oriented business and you can tell they care for the customers there no price hikes just honest people and they even bought me breakfast, more business like this need to exist may God bless them and thanks a ton.

These are a awesome bunch of guys. I had a flat tire today and noticed I had no lug wrench or jack. I looked behind me and they pulled up and asked me if I needed help.These guys got out and changed my tire and got me on my way.I didn’t have much money. I asked them what do I owe you they said nothing we are just helping out.God is great.I know he sent me these guys. Have a nice day and god bless.
This shop is unbailable. I explained the problem and they fixed issue in 1 hour. This tells me that they don't try to do extra unnecessary work. Definitely marking this one down for my future service work.
Went to Walmart n I decided to leave the keys in the ignition the same time my ole lady decided to lock the doors..long story short we came back out to truck n well… y’all kno wat happens next..stranded.. luckily we knew a guy (chris shoemake).gave em a call he came right out there n got us back in business..thank ya..we highly recommend shoemake truck repair fellas..

Owners son came out tonight 8/25/22 an did a flat repair on one of my drive tires on my tractor. Super nice guy. Had the job done in a timely fashion. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS REPAIR SHOP.
We were traveling through KY from FL. A tire on our trailer started smoking & we pulled off the road, outside Russellville, KY on US68. I determined the wheel bearings had failed & we needed help. We called AAA & other roadside businesses, but didn’t get a lot of help. Most said to drop the trailer & come back the next day. Shoemake answered the phone & Amber understood our roadside nightmare. Shortly afterwards, Chris their mechanic picked up parts at a local trailer shop & drove out to assist. After arriving, Chris had the right size bearings, quickly replaced them & we were able to safely resume our journey. As seniors, we were unable to do this work ourselves. We’re grateful to Shoemake Truck Repair for helping us, especially as it was quitting time at their company. Thx folks; what an outstanding team of individuals.
Was very helpful in getting the tires we needed at the best price also were available to put them on very same day which I thought was awesome since it was after lunch. My husband all takes semi trucks here an the service is always fast an gets him quickly ready for the next load. Thanks guys
I had a busted brake chamber so I called Shoemake Truck Repair and told her my situation. She told me to come on in and they had me back on the road within hour! Everyone there was outgoing, kind and very professional! Hopefully I'll never break down or have any other issues in this area, but they'll be the first ones I'll call if I do!

Had a busted trailer tire. I pulled up and within 10 minutes they were on it. Tire replaced and ready to roll in under 30. Very friendly, personable, and professional people. Seems to be a well run and well kept shop also. Definitely recommend if you're in need of service in the area
Came in told them I was not in no hurry and that I would not rush them at all. Everyone was very nice very knowledgeable and very courteous. Within 10 minutes you can't jump on my truck placed my two Steer tires balanced and reinstalled on the truck and under 1 hour amazing shop will definitely be doing a lot of business with them again
Good friendly people and reasonable prices. I had an Emergency and it only take them 15 minutes to get to me, just for them to take about 5 minutes to get me out of a muddy situation. Nice towing crew.
Wife's van had a nail in her tire coming home from a basketball tournament. It was a Saturday, around 5pm, and these people not only got the tire fixed and the spare back to it's original place, but then REFUSED to take payment. We're not in Russellville alot, but I can ASSURE you if I'm anywhere near this place again, I'll go by there and buy something. People and businesses like this deserve more than this silly Google review, so to anyone looking for a great, quality, family owned business that cares for its customers, look no further. I can’t say enough about Chris and his team! We were only 30 minutes into a 4 hour drive to my grandmother’s funeral when we blew a tire. I called them and even though they closed in 30 minutes and only work on semi/big tires, Chris came out to us to see if he could repair the tire for us. They went above and beyond! I would highly recommend them.
On7-18-19 I was in a bind, broke down. Gave Shoemake a call and in no time they had me back on the road. The friendliness group of people I’ve ever meet. They took care of me like I was family and for that reason I encourage anyone needing their service you can’t go wrong.

I have stopped there for air preassure problem , most likely air valve open/not open or some hose leaking, etc. on the truck . Then , they called me to let me know how my trailer is not good , brakes , drums , hubs, bearings ,hoses for inflate system,etc. , one tire plus one tire on the truck , not even mentioned anything about air preassure problem. They "fixed" all I didn't want and ask for , except that air preassure problem and charge several thousand dollars !!! They will pinpoint everything , just to make money , even you don't need that or you didn't ask for it !!! Every time they called me ,it meant something new "was wrong or damaged " !!! And , when they got finally my money , they looked at air leak ,which was fixed with 1 hour labor charged . That was all .
AVOID THIS FACILITY IN BIG CIRCLE !!! THEY ARE THIEVES !!!
We got a flat tire at midnight and there weren't any places open that could sell and put a tire on for us and since we have a car he didn't have the correct tire available, but he checked to see anyway. We bought our tire at Walmart and he was the only place that was available for us to come put it on. We drove 40 minutes to get there, realized the Walmart sold us the wrong tire, had to drive 40 minutes back and exchange it and then make the 40 minute drive back to his shop and he waited for us until we got back to put it on for us. Everyone was out of town for the Christmas holiday but he made time to help us. I can't reccomend this place more. The owner made sure we were able to get back on the road for Christmas.
Amazingly fast and competent. From the time I called dispatch to inform them of a flat tire until I was rolling again was two hours and Shoemake had to travel 30 minutes to my location. Wish all tire services were this good.
The owner was very kind and kept us informed. However, we were told it was a .30 part and was charged $425 for the part. To be towed only a couple miles it was $300. I will never use this place again. We have dealt with many places and this is by far the worst.
