I'm from out of town and was super nervous about getting my car fixed. I was scared about being taken advantage of due to my car's issues. All of these other reviews convinced me to go to Rod's - and let me say... I am SO GLAD I went to this place. Everyone was kind (good, honest people), the service was great (they had my car fixed up in just 4 hours), and I genuinely think I would have paid double anywhere else. I now joke about traveling 4 hours just to get my car fixed here again (which I probably will be doing).
Fantastic shop, I've brought my car ( a 2008 Mazda 3 ) here 4 times in the past few years. It's the only shop I'll take my car to now, and I've recommended them to everyone I know.

Honestly I was blown away by the amazing experience. I was listened to, treated with respect and fairness, and offered a warranty on parts and labor, which was very reasonable. Locals honk as they go by, which only adds to the good reputation. Out of towners will feel welcome here as well. Good vibes all around. I’ll be back for sure.
Very helpful for my husband, getting some needed work done on our truck. Reviewed thr break pads and said they were fine, no need for new ones yet. We just moved to the area so great to meet a trustworthy mechanic.
Rods was absolutely life-saving for my sister and I on a trip to the Red. We had an issue with our brakes and they were able to help us right away, were fast, friendly, and priced extremely reasonably. We had a great experience and highly recommend to anyone in the area.
Blew a rear shock while climbing in the Red. It’s always stressful to deal with car troubles while traveling— but when Rodney picked up the phone we had a good feeling. He got us in the next business day to assess what was going on, and ended up getting parts delivered and installed that same day, all the while making great conversation. Can not recommend this place enough. It seemed that every local driving by gave a honk and a wave— that’s always a good sign. If ever I’m having any vehicle issues while in the Red, I know I now have a trusted mechanic here. 5 stars and some!! Thanks guys!
Great place to do business. I had a tire go flying off due to a wheel bearing going out, and it broke my axel and everything. They had my truck back to me within the week, and the price was amazing.

Rodney and the guys working for him do amazing work. He is the only shop my family goes to for auto repair. Has very reasonable rates. I have recommended all my family and friends to him.
These guys are honest, charismatic, knowledgeable, and fast! I needed some brake calipers replaced last-minute and they were able to fit me in that next day. They didn't try and upsell, or give ambiguous answers like most mechanics do. They were down-to-earth, and they even taught me a bit of their process during the repairs. I'll be calling them whenever I need repairs in the future, and I'll be recommending them to everyone I know needing work done. Thanks guys!
I broke a wheel bearing on my Jeep JK touring the DBBB while visiting from out of State. I needed to drive it home the next day and Rod and his staff got me back on the road very quickly and reasonably. They could have taken advantage of an out of towner in a pickle, but I paid less here than I would have at home. Honest work done by honest men.
My family used Rod 4 years ago and have continued to use him for any and all work on our cars and trucks. He is trustworthy and has been honest with us about what it will cost and how long it will take.
