I placed my order for windshield wipers on Sunday, 11/2 and picked them up around 5:20pm 11/3. The team member who got my order was SO KIND!!! He offered to install them for me and I asked if he could show me how to do them and he happily did! He was nice & patient and showed me how to install them properly. I am so thankful!!!
it kinda sucked. i was the only customer. kind of annoyed him i asked him to check the vehicle. nope .windsheild wiper they are over there. thanks bud. different in most other stores.
Dro was FABULOUS!! I had a key fob battery problem and he was so kind and helpful, made me feel very welcomed, taken care of and not judged for being uncertain on what I needed. Will be looking for him the next time I stop in!!
They worded about the windshield wipers where I thought they were a different price. They took advantage of a 70-year-old woman charged me $84 what a rip off. And shame on them
Came in for brake parts today. Worked with Stacy. Stacy was excellent. She was friendly, knowledgeable and made my experience with advance one of the best I’ve had. She also showed me how to use my speed perks on the app and how to combine them. With the price of auto parts, this was very appreciated.

Terrible customer service. One lady is out smoking by front door when I come in and the other 2 employees are on their phones looking at pictures and just looked at me when I came in. They continued with their conversation as I was standing there waiting to be helped. Then didn't want to install my windshield wiper. Told me it just slides right on! I was like I know but that's why I buy them here. And said you can put it on right? And she says, "I mean I can, but it's easy to do" what a joke no customer service whatsoever ! Was sold a battery from a young lady that was too big compared to my dead battery. Went back a few days later, the two gentlemen were very professional, apologetic, and friendly. Gave exceptional customer service, sold me the correct battery, and gave me a refund for the wrong battery. Definitely recommend this store!
I don’t know where to begin. BOBBY who was as rude as he could be, charged me more than once for parts I needed for my car and then flat out refused to give me my money back because company policy doesn’t alllow DEBIT CARD REFUNDS WHEN THE STORE CHARGES TWICE WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO. HE CHARGED ME TWICE AND BECUASE I USED A DEBIT CARD HE CANT REFUND MY MONEY FOR 10 to 12 DAYS. WELL GOOD CAUSE I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN TO ANOTHER ADVANCED AGAIN. AUTO ZONE IS WAY BETTER ANYWAYS!! IF I HAD BEEN CLOSER TO AN OREILLYS OR TO BRAKES AND ALL I WOULDVE GONE THERE RATHER THAN LET “BOBBY” tell me I don’t get my money back FOR BEING CHARGED TWICE!!
Going to the auto part store is definitely not something I look forward to. I needed new blades for my windshield wipers and while I was in the parking lot decided to check my oil only to feel frustrated because it wasn't showing up like I thought on the dipstick. ANYWAY, Bruce was working this morning and literally it felt like I had a friend there showing me exactly what I needed walking me through how to properly read oil and how to put my blades on. He really took his time I will go out of my way to go back there when I need anything else in the future! Excellent customer service!
Nicholasville rd location is NOT good. Go to Southland location! I went in for a new battery.. I had to jump my car 2 different days. This kid said mine was still good. Said I must have left my dome light on. As if it was my fault. Why would I have to jump my car twice? I finally left not happy. Next morning had to jump again! Went straight to the southland location, they didn't think twice... replaced my battery and I was on my way! No problems since! Southland location all the way!!!
Have been to this location twice in the past couple weeks and I don't plan on ever returning reason being as I was shopping the rude lady that works behind the counter who thinks that I'm in there trying to steal from the store decides she gonna watch me everywhere I go in the store even looked outside at the passenger in my car like she was doing something wrong this has happend both times at this store the second time I went to store Ishe did it again something needs to be done about this as I'm not a theif in your establishment be harassed by a lady who definitely needs to know how to treat a customers instead of trying to profile and single out someone because of the way their appearance may be
Needed new wipers. Got lucky with buy 1 get one free. The young man that helped me was very friendly and quick to change the blades so I could get back home. Nice location
Need some better counter people that know cars more than the computer does. I mean come on people this is our 2nd most expensive investment in our life. Why let a 18 year old tell you what they think it might need? Knowledge is power I was always told.
The staff was very helpful. Couldn’t be more pleased with my experience here. Needed a battery for my key fob and new wiper blades. I even found at light up dog collar at the register unexpectedly. Staff went above and beyond!
So every time I go here I end up being sold the wrong part or finding out they don't have what I need. This place isn't as bad as the AutoZone on Lane Allen but it's pretty close. Make sure you're walking into this place with a aerospace engineering degree and a blueprint of what exactly you need or they won't know what you're talking about. Overall a 8 out of 10 deportations.
Daughter needed a battery. Was in and out in less than 30 minutes, tested through installed. Thanks for your excellent service! BTW, they now have Die Hard batteries.
The store was great and well stock but the customer service I received there was amazing they help me troubleshoot issues I was having with my car and recommended fixes it was almost like going to see a mechanic but they didn't charge me money to do the work
I love this Advance Auto Parts. The employees are eager and willing to help you and they actually know what they are talking about. Additionally, they have great prices and they never have a problem with returns if something just doesn’t workout for you. This is the only Advance Auto Parts will will shop at in Lexington, Kentucky. If I can’t make it here, to this location, I go to a competitor.
I work on vehicles a lot. This place here is by far the friendliest and welcoming auto parts store. The salesman Lucian along with his coworker was so helpful and I appreciate their patience. The guys were able to find the materials that I needed, even offered alternative suggestions to what I was going to do. They we're very interested in what I was trying to do. They got the part I needed in stock, and reasonably priced.
Great people working in there! I needed a part (rugs) but wasn't sure they would fit my car. The salesman gave me the rugs and let me go out to fit them in before I paid. They fit. I paid. Everybody was happy! #iRecommend

Staff was very helpful. I had a large and heavy order. They grabbed a large cart from the back and followed me out to my car and helped me load everything. Friendly helpful staff like this help customers like myself decide which parts store I choose to visit and do business with.
My husband is a mechanic, so we shop here regularly for most of our car parts. The employees know us and are always knowledgeable and friendly. They loan tools so you can fix your car right there if it's something that's doable right there.
We were able to find what we needed here, but didn't have the greatest customer service. Their selection wasn't great either. For example, we went to get a battery, but they only had one choice for my wife's car, and it wasn't cheap. It would have been nice to have options to choose from, similar to what I have seen at other stores in the past. They also weren't helpful when we weren't able to get our car started after we bought a new battery from them. They tried their little, weak jump box, but it apparently wasn't charged enough, so it didn't do any good. Then they just gave up and we had to call someone to come help. Seems kinda crazy that something that simple can't be done at an auto parts store.
Speedy shopping experience. Buy online, pick up in store in 30 min the best feature. store service is great, knowledgeable. Doesn't look like they trying to get rid of you, like other parts stores. Kudos
