Needed a new battery. Wanted Diehard Elite for my truck. Employee told me he could test my battery but couldn’t replace it. Shouldn’t advertise free battery testing and installation if employees are not willing to do it. Had to go down the road to Autozone.

Went in to get a diagnostic check. Person at the counter was rude to me and the coworker that helped me. The person who helped me really didnt knkw how to do his job but was nice and kept his composure even though the other worker was being rude. I won't go back to this one because of the rudeness, not knowing the job well, and the prices

We used to love this location, especially when Lotto was there. The new manager, however, is INCREDIBLY rude, unhelpful, and unfriendly.
They also used to honor the military with a "military discount." While it showed it on the screen, there was no discount applied, and the manager was unwilling to rectify it. And, amazingly, she was ruder when I asked her to help adjust the price and claimed there was nothing she could do. The other employee made a face behind her, letting me know that this attitude and treatment is par for the course with this manager.
We have 7 cars that we USED TO service from this store. No more. Best of luck to you at this place.Jul 26, 2025 -
Came in to return an unused part, and buy wipers and a couple other things. Was met with rudeness and attitude from employee at the counter. Made the return and left without purchasing anything. Don't think I'll be using Advance, def not this location.

Are you returned unlock that doesn’t fit since I have the receipt I thought it was OK. They told me that I have to bring the little plastic holder in order for me to have it exchange. They should have that on the door and not the receipt I should be able to exchange if I have the receipt. And I had the barcode to the part that they need to scan in, but not just an extra little paper along with the backcode. I thought that was unfair if I had the receipt and the backcode to the part I bought. They can match them up

This is my go-to Advance Auto store. All the associates are pleasant and helpful.
If what I need is not a back store item, Linda points me in the exact direction, even telling me the package color and shelf location. If I'm still unsure, she'll come from behind the counter and grab it for me.
She always makes me aware of any rebates and how to obtain them.

Went in there and bought a tool I was charged 21 and the transaction didn't go through I tried again and was charged another 21 and after that I still was told to pay cause the "transaction" didn't go through. Didn't pay a third time for a 21 dollar tool to be charged again. So 42 for a tool I couldn't leave with cause I didn't pay for it they say. Still was charged twice for a tool I couldn't leave with.

Thank you Advance Auto for still providing free windshield wiper installation, even in the rain! They were able to get me taken care of in less than 10 minutes from the time I pulled in until I was driving out. You guys rock and you are appreciated!

Flat out refused to help me with basic brake light questions. Refused to even help me identify a fuse symbol that I was going to check on my own spouting company policy, and it would be a liability to them to even help with basic information. Went up the road to AutoZone, and they were more than willing to try and answer my basic questions, and try and identify a potential problem. Decided to buy the car fuse I needed at autozone instead. I could tell even before asking that the guy at this Auto Parts location wasn’t in a good mood since I clearly heard him using multiple cuss words and profanity. I found the comment “You got a phone?” to me to be very rude, and insulting. I won’t be coming back.

This is a very good place to go if you need anything for you vertical they have almost anything you could need and if they don't have it they will order it for you and have it sometimes that day and if not they will have it by the next day and cheaper than any place else I've been. And the guys that with their are the best they really help you get what you need and do there best to get the cheapest part they can for you. Give them a try if you need something for you car or truck or whatever vehicle you may have.

Great and quick service to help me get my battery replaced. They install for free too! I found it super helpful and appreciated it. Be careful driving past the front of the store to turn around, it's a bumpy road. Try to avoid that.

The staff members were very helpful and informative. Even though I didn't know much about my vehicle, they took the time to look up the answers online when I could only shrug my shoulders. A vehicle malfunctioning is very stressful, and I'm thankful for their calm demeanor while getting me the parts I needed.

I would never recommend this specific store to anyone. I was told that in order to warranty a defective part that I had to drive an hour to the original store I bought th part from. The employees were rude and completely wrong. I went to another store and was taken care of in less 5 minutes. I was even told that if I wanted to call corporate to go for it. Do not waste your time.

Employee was condescending and had an attitude. When your car breaks down it's very stressful and usually emotional because you may not have the money to fix it. Please be more compassionate with customers.

My friend and I just received some excellent customer service from Lado. We had some technical issues but Lado found a way to get the issues solved with our order, and I am very pleased with the result. Thank you Lado, I appreciate your expertise and will be back.

Excellent experience here. Staff is very friendly. They had my wiper blades changed within a minute and even discarded the old ones for me. Definitely will be back.

A great experience buying a battery for the Subaru. Gregory Calder was a real pleasure to work with and knew his stuff. It felt so unusual to be getting such great service like that. Glad I didn't go to Costco or Walmart for the battery. Worth a bit extra.

I've been to this Advance Auto Parts store twice now and won't go to any other one in Lexington, KY. The customer service here is exceptional and they go above and beyond. I have a Mercury Milan and had a battery issue. I wish that they could have a car shop repair too because I would pay these guys to fix any car issues I have because I trust them. I forgot the gentleman's name who wears the American Flag suspenders but he is a keeper and Advance Auto Parts CEO is very lucky to have him working for the company! Thank You!

Awesome new store. The associate/manager "Will" really helped me out, i had a new battery i needed installed, but i didnt have the skills to make it happen. Will helped me, he's the man. Someone give him a raise.

Terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE customer service. Was told I couldn't return an item I purchased from another Advanced Auto Parts, even though I had the original receipt, because they didn't want to take a loss from another store. Not to mention, I had just placed an online order for a similar item to be picked up in this store during the same trip. So what loss would there be?? According to corporate I had the right to in fact return this item at ANY store I pleased. The "manager", if that is who he really was, was just plain nasty and rude. When I proceeded to let him know that I could return this item at any store because they are corporate, he told me he wasn't going to argue with me. He repeated this phrase about 4-5 times. What a terrible experience at this store. I cannot wait for the regional manager to contact me. I will never EVER step foot in store # 7448 again. I may never step in another Advance Auto Parts store again as it is. I refuse to spend money at any store that employs individuals like this. After a verbal exchange with this individual, he then demands his employee, who is outside the store and unaware of the situation, to take a picture of my license plate and call the police. About 10 minutes later a police officer contacted me via my personal cell to get my side of the story. The "manager" claimed I threathened him. Apparently, the phrase "I hope you all die" came out of my mouth. Wow! STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE EVERYONE. Bad business!
