This winery is a wonderfully eclectic gathering place. As a veteran-owned business, the owner always takes special care of veteran visitors. He produces a good variety of wines and also has several kinds of beer available, including one or two on tap. Not too long ago, he even opened a bourbon tasting area and serves up some great cocktails. The winery also has live music on some nights and other events that are posted on the Facebook page. Great people here and great ambiance.
Hard to give them even 2 stars as every time I've tried to visit they have been closed for 1 reason or another during posted open hours. If you have a website then at least post your updates there.
I will not be trying to visit or taste their wine anymore.
Very much a neighborhood hangout! Came in during a market night so there was a lot to see and people. The atmosphere was loud, energetic, and positive! Got to meet some very nice people...I will be back...especially for market nights!!
Out of all the wineries in this area that we visited, this was the only one that we enjoyed all the wines that we sampled. I am excited to return once their persimmon wine is ready to bottle.
This place has so many different types of events, there's something for everyone. It's super clean, the staff is wonderful and the wine is amazing. If you like sweet and blueberries try First kiss. It's 1 of my favs 😍
Super fun group and great wines! We stopped in on our ‘self-guided’ winery tour- ended staying until closing. Gary, the wine maker, was very friendly, everyone in the place was super friendly! It felt like hanging out with good friends. Gary’s wines are really fantastic. He has a number of varieties that are not listed on the webpage. Being from out of state, we can’t come back next week. It is on our list of places we want to return too!
Went for a private event that was bridal shower and everything was perfect from the wine to the customer service. They also have an adorable bourbon room.
This is a wonderful comfortable place for relaxing and enjoying very good wine.

Konnie and Gary were excellent hosts for our 50th class reunion...we were so pleased to relive our school days where we had attended this establishment n our younger years...we were welcomed and our event was fantastic...thanks Konnie and Gary for your hospitality, we felt like young kids again... Lol 😆. THANKS so much!!!

We stopped in on our way to Louisville. What amazing hospitality. So welcoming. We got the 50cent tour (beautiful) The wines were amazing. Try the Fire Drill if it's available,
What a fabulous experience. The owner is passionate about the wine and was very kind and took excellent care of us. As a bonus, we got to enjoy some live music outside along with the wine, cheese tray, and locals. It felt like family just hanging out in the yard.
This place was an absolute treat. Fantastic wine that is crafted by an individual whose passion comes through in the complex and rich flavors of the cleverly named wines they offer. Leaving the main bar area, you find yourself in an almost whimsy collection of knick knacks and family photos that makes you feel nostalgic for a simpler time. Highly recommend stopping here!
I loved this winery. The building was so neat and well remodeled. The owners and staff were so kind and welcoming. The wine is exceptional!! Also, you could actually have a conversation with the ppl you came with because the music wasnt so loud that you couldn't hear and the atmosphere was laid back. Highly recommend!

Such an awesome quaint establishment...where you are part of the family. Very relaxed atmosphere....the wine is wonderful and at a an exceptional price!
When there this evening with my wife and did the tasting. Eight wines and only one that was so so. Really cool place and great wine whether you like dry or sweet.

Best wine I have ever had. If you want to go to a down home winery were everyone is friendly and the wine is delicious. I highly recommend the schoolyard winery.
What a hidden gem! I really love how homey and welcoming this place makes you feel. The owners are very sweet, and laid back. The wines are excellent! Come check out their newly remodeled bar area its a great space to bring your family, friends, and it overlooks their grape vineyard.
